Male Suli (Water) Cleric 4
Then we can meditate upon these things and see if we can come up on with the answers that we seek Maa-Djour replies as he offers Natashia his left hand as he returns his right hand into the cool bowl of water, closes his eyes and begins to pray to Hanspur, The Water Rat, for the powers required to cleanse this affliction from the water. Most people choose to worship their deities in their own special way, I find this way suitable for me, so long as your thoughts are to your deity then I am sure they don't mind which way you choose to worship them
Male Suli (Water) Cleric 4
I will try, as I said, we may need someone of stronger faith, but I shall do what I can as soon as we ensure that everyone is safe and healthy again. Maa-Djour replies to the young boy Indeed, it is unwise to rush off in anger, also it is not good on the soul. I shall keep you company for as long as you need it. Might I suggest you sit with me a while, I know prayer and meditation is not for everyone but it can be relaxing and help you re-center your focus Maa-Djour replies to Natashia with a look of concern and kindness I understand that it may be hard for you to discuss your fathers journals but if you would like I can help you sort through some of it and discuss what some of it possibly could lead to
Male Suli (Water) Cleric 4
Indeed he does, but my services will be required here tomorrow tending the wounded and as such I shall do what little I can here, but because of the speed of the water and especially the waterfall and being close to the source, ensuring that it's clean should be the next priority as it shall help cleanse the water much faster. It will still take time though sadly. I thought you would like the company also, especially after today.
Male Suli (Water) Cleric 4
I was trying to cleanse it, it requires someone of a higher faith than that of my own to cleanse it's entirety, but even cleaning a little at a time, removing the impurities and adding clean water lessons the effects of the pollution and helps the water cleanse itself Maa-Djour says calmly to the young boy as he drops his silver holy symbol into the bowl of water and begins to pray to Hanspur for the powers required to cleanse the water. He looks up from his prayers as Natashia approaches. The cold does not bother me as I am a being of the cold and I prefer being near the water, even water as polluted as this is now Maa-Djour replies as he looks at the water in disgust You're more than welcome to stay out here with me, I would appreciate the company, you also know how I feel about fire. I can help with the healing and getting everyone stabilized, after that the surviving clerics should be able to handle the rest, I am of better use out here. I can help fix this, but it will take time, your home will be beautiful once more.
Male Suli (Water) Cleric 4
Maa-Djour walks over to the contaminated water, places his hand inside and says a prayer as golden light forms around his hand.
Male Suli (Water) Cleric 4
I'm sure your master would be very disappointed that you failed to let in such a beautiful young woman, especially when she has such important information to share with him Maa-Djour says slyly, implying that she may be there to offer more than just her words, and I am sure that you boys are so very thirsty, and I recall my other female companion was looking for a couple of strapping lads to share a drink with silver-tongued haggler +2 diplomacy, bluff, intimidate and sense motive. I will do it twice, once for the bluff and once for the diplomacy bluff: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11
Male Suli (Water) Cleric 4
Maa-Djour looks over Natashia's wounds
Male Suli (Water) Cleric 4
Maa-Djour unrolls his bedroll a little away from the fire, trying to avoid the heat as he is not too fond of it. he does not use a blanket as he is quite fine with the nightly chill that lingers in the air. When Talmira wakes him for his watch it is hard to see as it is still late and as such Maa-Djour takes a torch with him and spend his watch patrolling the outskirts of the camp. Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (9) + 6 = 15 After his watch Maa-Djour quietly walks over to Natashia's tent to raise her for her watch, trying not to awaken the others he enters her tent to awaken her for her watch.
Male Suli (Water) Cleric 4
Maa-Djour slowly stumbles back to camp after a rough trip into the forest, feeling a little down that he was unable to locate a stream or river in which to bathe in, even though he does not smell of sweat he does have the smell of travel on him which he was hoping to wash off. No fresh water sources nearby, we are unable to wash again tonight he says, the disappointment clearly evident in his voice. For watch I would suggest Juan for first watch, Marco second, Talmira third, myself fourth, Natashia fifth and Elric last. This is because of the quality of your vision, humans need full light to see clearly, elves and myself only need low light and a dhampir can see in the dark he says trying to be useful whilst also keeping his mind off of the fact that he still has not had a chance to bathe. Maa-Djour then walks over and fills a small silver bowl with water, places it on the ground and places three incense on the ground in behind it. He then removes his holy symbol of Hanspur from around his neck and submerges it in the bowl before he begins to whisper a chant in prayer to Hanspur.
Male Suli (Water) Cleric 4
Maa-Djour begins to feel a lot more comfortable whilst riding with Natashia, he almost forgets that he is riding on the back of a horse until a small bump causes him to remember and he grabs Natashia tighter. Maybe some music would make the trip more enjoyable he says hoping that the music may distract him from the fact that he is riding on a horse.
Male Suli (Water) Cleric 4
Thank you Natashia, that would probably be for the best Maa-Djour says offering Natashia back the reins before offering her his hand to be helped up onto the horse. With Natashia's help Maa-Djour mounts Aratoamin behind Natashia, holding her tightly across her belly, afraid to fall off. Marco, a wagon may assist you with fiddling with your little machines whilst travelling if you have the coin to spare for one and a driver Maa-Djour says slyly, knowing that he could easily have gone by wagon too but not wanting to let this elven woman who can show him his dreams go or be seperated from her.
Male Suli (Water) Cleric 4
Maa-Djour drops a small smooth pebble into a basin of water. One more stone in the river of my life, one more obstacle in the way to be over come he says with disgust, this whole arena and fighting for entertainment or to settle disputes has really begun to anger him. As the stone hits the water Maa-Djour activates his Elemental Assault to freeze the water with the splash at full height. He then turns and walks outside with the others. Seems I have a problem, I do not own a mount as I can not ride the damned things and I have no intention on learning how to
Male Suli (Water) Cleric 4
So to the arena's then, the dark place that shows the true nature of people hearts Maa-Djour says looking mournful as he thinks of the lives wasted for the 'entertainment' of others. Another rock in the river of life that over time will have to be eroded away. It can always be removed faster with the help of other, maybe the light of Hanspur can speed up the erosion He says with a fake smile on their face, failing to hide his despair at the nature of humanoids, the only beings that kills each other for fun.
Male Suli (Water) Cleric 4
After a good nights rest at the temple to Hanspur, Maa-Djour wakes early to complete his morning chores for the last time before preaching his morning sermons, thanking the high priest for having him within the temple and entering into a great new world of opportunities and adventure, the way true worshipers of Hanspur should be. He arrives at Marco's house just as the sun rises into the sky.
Male Suli (Water) Cleric 4
Juan the Fifth, I have mastered the art of channeling to the point in which I can choose who does or doesn't receive it's healing light, and would it not be safe to assume that since 'Sevence' was so worried about the being watched and spies eavesdropping on our conversation wouldn't also be wise to believe that 'Savior' would have sent his minions in search of these keys and therefor fighting will ensue regardless of if we wish it to or not, and isn't also wise to prepare for the worst to ensure maximum survivablity? Maa-Djour says getting a little annoyed, a seasoned adventurer should know these things and pick up on inferred information.
Male Suli (Water) Cleric 4
Juan the Fifth, in my case I could just channel and heal all three of us, a channel which would be more effective on myself that a light wounds wand, but if the we choose to split up, by all means let's do it, I am happy with my chosen companions and location he says moving away from Marco's touch with annoyance, he's more than happy to go with the young elven woman to this paradise of nature she has talked about.
Male Suli (Water) Cleric 4
So a wand of negative will help when your two companions are on the ground dying and you have three forces of darkness focusing on you, what do you do then, heal yourself in the hopes that you can survive the battering you are about to receive or heal your companions and hope they will be able to defeat your foes before you die? a sly grin appears on Maa-Djour's face, hypotheticals are such a good way to find out about others.
Male Suli (Water) Cleric 4
Plus you seem to be forgetting our Inquisitors lineage... She would be need to pray darker powers, ones I dare not pray for, just to be able to heal herself, those powers would greatly harm the rest of you, she will be stretched thin as it is with the powers her god grants her Maa-Djour says with a resentful tone, seeing Talmira as a creature of darkness but can not feel the darkness within her. Splitting up is a bad choice, it may sound like we can get things done faster if we split up, but at full power we can get through the individual stages of this quest faster he says hoping everyone see the logic behind his statement.
Male Suli (Water) Cleric 4
I believe he stated that 'Savior' as we are to know him as is actually an evil man trying to take over the world and by the sounds of it he is using Golden Rule to do it... what has me confused is that you are clearly a very powerful being in your own right, why would you need the help of us, it is true we are better than your average adventurers but I see no way for which we could help in anyway that you wouldn't be able to achieve much more efficiently says Maa-Djour with a bemused expression his face, convinced that this 'Sevence' character is pulling our legs, but if it gets him out of this town and into the world where he can do some real good then so be it.
Male Suli (Water) Cleric 4
Noticing the Natashia wave, he heads towards her.
At least there is some place of beauty within this horrid city, what brings you here? he says still wondering why this woman has taken an interest in himself, but not to concerned as hopefully she will take him away from this town as a river should continue flowing and he has be stuck on this rock of a town for a while and is now hoping his current flows past it.
Male Suli (Water) Cleric 4
I am of the Suli race, member of the water clan, meaning I am half human, on my mothers side, and half water djinn, my father. I have slight control over water and this shown outwardly in my skin color and appearance he says a little annoyed with being probed about his appearance, yes his race is rare but at least most people don't ask, except small children. Walks over to the half orc. Have you learnt your lesson? Do you intend to take that which is not yours again? If so I shall heal you. Maa-Djour waits until the half-orc acknowledges his wrong doings before putting a hand on his shoulder and casting Cure Light Wounds. Cure Light Wounds: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7 After ensuring that the half-orc was conscious enough to get himself to hospital before looking for that elven woman, he is sure she wasn't fully healed with his last attempt, possibly because he was a little distracted whilst healing her.
Male Suli (Water) Cleric 4
It's all good and well to be noble and help the underdog, but these things can be sorted another way he says thinking that this young woman is actually planning to take him away from this place and onto greater purposes. My name is Maa-Djour Aquios Paani, I am a Suli of the water clan, cleric of the deity Hanspur, the water rat he says as a smile forms on his face, a spark igniting in his deep, clear blue eyes.
Male Suli (Water) Cleric 4
Walking out into the ring, he looks over the young elven woman. Where did the nasty half-orc hurt you? Another two blows like that and you would have been down for the count, pretty unfair fight to be honest he says as he eyes the wound across the elves chest. Gently places his hand upon her chest where the half-orcs blow hit and casts Cure Light Wounds. I'm gonna make it feel all better as gold light forms in the palm of his hand and gently warms Natashia's chest. Cure Light Wounds: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6 I hate this city, you can not preach to the people about a greater life when they spend most of their time down here watching violence, I just need to get out of this place he says with a look of hope that this woman could take him away from this horrid place.
Male Suli (Water) Cleric 4
He does realize that the city guard was formed just for that exact purpose and that this really is unnecessary, the guards would take them away and reclaim any stolen property he says as he despairs that people resort to fighting first when there are so many better more peaceful options available.
Male Suli (Water) Cleric 4
From the crowd a man walks over, at first he maybe mistaken for a woman because the word that best describes him is beautiful, but as he gets closer it is easy to see by the toned muscles that he is indeed a male. He stands out from the crowd not only because of his beauty but also because of his strangeness. His body says human but his skin is a pale blue and his hair flows like water down his back, everything about him, including the way he dresses screams water. On his chest is a silver holy symbol of Hanspur clearly displayed and on his back a large trident. So who wronged who here? he says lethargically, seems he is quite used to this sort of thing and is sort of getting annoyed by just how often people are here fighting to solve their problems when they could try talking it out. |
