Hey GM, would you be able to check a few boxes on Lorelei's journal card? The following Diplomacy check is to meet the required skill check to recruit the Baron to the Sovereign Court... I'd also like to get the box checked for recruiting him surreptitiously while still on the ship without tipping her hand to the other PCs. I can either e-mail you the PDF, or just host it on my googledrive, let you edit it, and then you can repost it?

Lorelei continues to backtrack around the corner, away from the enemies...

Lorelei reels from the vicious attacks and feels her mind slipping! She takes a step back from the front line, barely able to stay on her feet. She draws out a vial of alchemist fire and prepares to throw it as her last act should the creatures come after her again!

Free Action - 5' step to new position on the map. Move Action - Draw alchemist fire. Current status - DISABLED.

I swear these freaking rolls all scenario!!!!!!!!

What is it with Paizo and throwing DR and Fast Healing creatures in low level scenarios? We need to focus on one creature at a time. Focus on blue as it has taken the most damage.

Lorelei cracks her whip once more, looking to terrorize the creatures!

Take 10 on Intimidate (Demoralize) again for a result of 18 on Blue.

Who has the Apple? In all seriousness. We really need it right now.

Lorelei quickly uncoils her whip and cracks it loudly in the air near the face of one of the nearby creatures in an attempt to intimidate it! "Not sure what those monkeys were, but lets push the advantage while we have it!"

Take 10 on Intimidate for a total 18 vs Blue creature.

Lorelei doesn't have the apple, unless she does. lol

Lorelei moves up with Muroi and allows the lingering magic of her performance to continue bolstering her allies. She quickly casts a spell directed at one of the creatures!

Ear-Piercing Scream: 1d6 ⇒ 2 Fort save DC 15 for half damage and to avoid being Dazed for 1 round.

Lingering Performance will carry on for an additional round after this!

Knowledge: Planes: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 2 = 10

Lorelei cannot identify the creatures either and immediately changes position behind Muroi. She then begins and inspiring dance! "Go forth, Pathfinders, and eliminate these beasts!"

Inspire Courage. +1 Attack/Damage and save vs Fear.

Ouch... that's not good. Nonworried and take your time!

Lorelei quickly joins the others to avoid becoming separated in the event the creatures comes back to life!

Does it look like there is anywhere to replace the pieces we found from the looters?

Lorelei moves closer to one of the statues and examines it closely, but is careful not to touch it...

Perception: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (11) + 3 = 14

Lorelei cautious follows the elf, her normally (somewhat) reckless behavior seems diminished in light of her fever...

"I imagine those monkeys must be the red-eyed creatures of which those loots spoke. We should be careful not to trip whatever trap caused them to animate... if there even is one." Lorelei quickly casts a spell to look for any magical auras in the area.

Detect magic.

Lorelei stands by ready to spring into action at a moments notice! "Good thinking, both of you! This is a very interesting location that I would enjoy studying without having my skull nearly crushed in again."

Diplomacy: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (2) + 8 = 10+1 if they could be sexually attracted to Lorelei.

And the hits just keep on coming... Or can we just use that as an Aid Another?

Lorelei is feeling to horrible to be able to put up convincing interest in these people. "What is up there that you are afraid of?"

Sense Motive: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (14) - 1 = 13

Lorelei already feels miserable and the sudden threat overpowers her weakened will power. Like Muroi, she simply steps to the side, not wishing for any more fighting than is necessary.

Fort Save: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (10) + 1 = 11

As the group trudges through the swamp, she begins to feel miserable as an ache begins to set in all her muscles. Despite the heat, and constant sweat, Lorelei cannot seem to shake a chill and she finds herself shivering at times. Once at the building she looks tired and dark circles are very visible beneath her normally vibrant eyes. "Yes, let us hurry and explore this place so we can get out of this jungle."

Lorelei thanks the Baron as she takes her seat. "It would be our honor to have you accompany else, milord."

Sorry, busy post holiday-week at work had me pretty much exhausted.

Lorelei spends a little too much time making sure they her clothing is immaculate and her hair is perfect. She looks up when the porter comes around again. "Oh my... please pass along my apologies to the Baron. I will head to their tent immediately."

She rushes into the tent with an apologetic smile. "I apologize, milords. After the encounter in the jungle, I wanted to ensure I looked my best for you both."

Diplomacy: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (14) + 8 = 22+1 if they could be attracted to her.

Lorelei gladly accepts the Baron's healing potion as she stands and drinks it down. "Thank you, milord." Feeling a little bolder now, she steps over towards the fallen creature. "It is called a Leucrotta, they are evil magical beasts and quite intelligent. It is no wonder so many men were slaughtered all those years ago..." She rubs her head and winces. "Thank you all for saving me. I cannot believe I fell for such a blatant trick."

It's considered a Full-Round Action. That's essentially the only rules really. And thank you very much, Uthraed! I don't have any curatives or wands yet as this is Lorelei's first mission...

Pot of CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 1 = 9

Lorelei gasps and chokes on the healing potion as she suddenly comes to full consciousness. She frantically works to control her breathing and whips her head around in search of the creature that nearly killed her. When she spots the corpse so close, she reflexively scoots away. "Is it dead?!"

Not going to lie.. I was really sweating on that one too.. I have yet to kill a PC, and really did not want my first to end like that, where you had no choice in the matter.

Eh, it happens! I hold no ill-will against GM's if a PC dies, unless it was an intentionally malicious act. Sometimes its just the way the die rolls. So far I've only had to PFS PC die (my first) and it was nearly a TPK during Defenders of Nesting Swallow.

Lorelei lets out a scream of terror as she suddenly dodges the massive maw of sharp teeth coming her way, but as she does so one of the creature's hooves hits her hard across the head and she collapses to the ground... Her breathing is shallow, but steady...

Stabilization Roll DC 10: 1d20 + 1 - 5 ⇒ (15) + 1 - 5 = 11 YES! Thank you d20!

Just as a reminder... Lorelei has Darkvision 60.

Lorelei rushes towards the treeline quickly, keeping her eyes open for the Count or whatever is threatening him. "Can't you all hear him?! We must hurry! The Count's safety was entrusted to us, we cannot let him come to harm!"

Lorelei's ears suddenly perk up at the call for help. She follows behind the Baron, drawing her bow after her feet strike the ground. "Hold on, milord! We are coming! Come towards my voice!"

Is there any mud available in our area? If so, Lorelei would smear it on any exposed skin and would suggest the same to the others. Otherwise...

Lorelei ponders where she has observed those particular prints before... "I have seen these before..." She comments while examining the area. She then takes her time (Take 10) to climb the Machan that the Baron ascends. Once there she draws out her shortbow and an arrow with a wink at Rudyahm

Lorelei knows nothing about hunting and, like Muroi, is having a difficult time remembering anything about the jungle. "I trust you, Baron, not to lead me astray on my first sortie into the jungle." She smiles at the man.

Lorelei continues to bolster her companions while quickly casting a spell and letting loose with a silent scream that only one of the baby cobras can hear!

Sonic Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 4 Fort save DC 15 to avoid being Dazed and for half damage.

Free Action - Maintain Inspire Courage. Standard Action - Cast Ear-Piercing Scream upon Baby Cobra that is the furthest away from the party (indicated by the Black border I placed around the icon.

Don't forget your bonuses to hit and damage from Inspire Courage, Uthraed!

Lorelei quickly makes a tactical retreat from the giant snake and her position directly in front of a fearful elephant. She then begins to bolster her companions' battle prowess and and strengthens them against fear with a twirling dance.

Move Action - Move into new position on the map. Standard Action - Initiate Inspire Courage (+1 Attack/Damage rolls and charm/fear to all allies.

Ah, gotcha. Okay, Lorelei will use Knowledge: Nature instead of that Intimidate check. Is it okay to just use the above roll with her +2 bonus for a total of 18?

Does the skill check need to be a group effort on the same skill? Or are we able to chose the individual skill to utilize?

Lorilei shakes her head at Count Matsanda's request. "Milord, my companions and I know much of the world and the creatures within and from without. We study extensively to learn as much as we can. If my companions tell me that it is not poisonous, then I take their word as fact. You should as well, trust us!" She smiles and pats his shoulder. "We will not lead you astray, I promise you that. We should save our resources for a time when we know for a fact that one of us has been poisoned."

Lorelei quickly grabs her whip and joins the others, rushing out of her tent to locate the source of the commotion! "What is going on here?!"

I would prefer to keep the game going if possible. I believe asking in Flaxseed could easily net us a replacement GM.

Lorelei listens to the story with rapt attention, gasping at appropriate dramatic instances. "What a foul beast this tiger seems! You are right, milord, to want to hunt it down and end this menace once and for all! Might I be so bold, milord, to say that you are quite the storyteller! You could easily put to shame many of the bards I studied with in Opparra!"

Sorry about my disappearance. I injured my back on Sunday and was bed-ridden on muscle relaxers and heating pad the past two days. I will get caught up with all my games nowish.

Lorelei shows up to the dinner with a fairly low cut blouse, keeping her eyes upon the Baron during much at the time. 'He would be a perfect asset to acquire for the Court.' She thinks to herself...

"Yes, I must agree with Senach. Please pass along our compliments to your chefs, Milord. You clearly have some of the best from the Inner Sea in your employ." When talk changes to elephants she gasps. "An elephant?! That is amazing, I have never seen one before, but have heard stories! That alone would make this trip very much worthwhile."

"Milord, what other hazards should we expect to encounter during the hunting trip? Our Venture-Captain was unsure, however, such a well-traveled man such as yourself would be aware. Especially given that you have already been around the area once."

I will have something up shortly! Just getting off work and preparing to head home.

Lorelei gladly accepts the wand from Senach. "I will use it with pleasure, my dear." She spends her night dancing and meeting new folks before turning in late. Despite her late night, she arrives on time at the docks and looking entirely put together.

She offers a well-practiced curtsy for the baron and then offers her hand to him. "It is a pleasure to meet you, Baron Rudyahm. I am Lorelei Adelardi of House Adelardi of Taldor. I must say, milord, you are much more handsome in person than the rumors suggested." She offers a seductive smile.

Sorry about the delay! I went camping this weekend and brought along my Jetpack to post; however, I was not able to get any kind of service at all... Got home late last night, just in time to catch Season 7 premiere of Walking Dead before crashing.
