Ordo Hereticus
The Lord Inquisitor steps up to address your questions
you will have time to heal, it is going to take a week of travel time to get to Phyrr
"The Beasthouse is a notorious organization of heretics that collect Xenos from all over the galaxy to compete in illegal competitions. The Lady Rathbone has many friends in the Inquisition, but she was likely enroute to Sinophia when all of this came to light, which is a long trip. What ever we uncover here, we can use when we intercept her there if she is indeed involved. "
"Phyrr is a Death World. In M40 the Adeptus Mechanicus attempted to install a facility on the planet, that was abandoned not long after due to the extreme flora and fauna of the planet. It is possible that these beast-masters are operating out of these ruins. Other than the infamous Phyrr cat, which you have already encountered, not much of the planet has been categorized. Expect lethal plants and animals of all shapes and sizes. The beast-masters tend to use their creatures in combat, but they also have access to military-grade weaponry. Even if Lady Rathbone is innocent, they are being funded by someone in the Noble houses."
Ordo Hereticus
"Before I go it is my pleasure to bestow up Brother Tellemachus on behalf of High Lord Inquisitor Caidin of the Calixian Conclave, the Calixian Cross. The Lord Inquisitor hands it to Brother Tellemachus and bows. Mechanically this is just like the Aquilla Token on page as far as benefits go. Most of the Tyrantine Cabal falls under the Calixian Conclave, and all of the Inquisition and Sisters of Battle in the Calixis sector recognize its authority in the sector.
The Lord Inquisitor turns to Brother Elyas on his way out of the Watch Captain's office. "May I have a word with you Master Astartes once you have finished congratulating your brother? Come find me in my chambers after.

Ordo Hereticus
The Lord Inquisitor comes into the office holding the data slate recovered in the Transmitorium, and he seems excited.
"Thank you Watch Captain. I just wanted to share with the team how much I appreciated the escort, but more importantly I wanted to show them that their efforts were not in vain. This is what we had hoped for." He holds up the data slate.
"You see, the Gaolists, heretics they maybe, did not only communicate with the Imperium. Sometimes they would receive...errant messages of a sort. How many of you know of the Black Library?"
If you have the skill Forbidden Lore :Black Library you know about it, if you don't than you don't.
The Lord Inquisitor waits for replies then adds "This is a translation of some of the secrets of that secret Eldar craftworld. We are still going over its contents, but it could be what we are looking for. There is reference to something called "The harvester moon" that sounds a lot like our Tyrant Star. We have made a huge break through. The Inquisition keep secrets out of necessity it is true, and I know some of you have been frustrated with that concept. Understand we are all on the same team and we will bring light to the Calixis sector again. Thank you master Astartes. He bows slightly.
Ordo Hereticus
"Wait, do not dismantle that device Brother Leon. It in itself is not evil. House Aleene will not bind daemons to it, however they will need it to send messages using their unique abilities." The Lord Inquisitor moves to the device and takes out a data pad and hooks it up to what looks like a pict-recorder in the room.
"Remember when I said this might be the salvation of the sector. Looks like the Gaolists did keep their word. I can not speak of this here, I will brief you on the Pious Immolation. You have done a great deed this day. "
The medics help Father Zyas recover and escourt him to the Aquilla transport.
Members out House Aleene begin to show up quickly and thank the Lord Inquisitor grinning widely as they look on the facility.
I will end the mission here. Feel free to add anything you want to do before you head back to the Pious Immolation I will begin the AAR

Ordo Hereticus
You can not perform the same half action in a round, and you can not perform two actions with the attack subtype normally. Fire for Effect is up so if you are in squad mode you get an extra attack if you use a reaction and it is a Ballistic Skill.I will look for that in the book and put it in F.A.Qs
Round 3 summary so far
Unbound Entities Three attempted to possess members of the kill-team. The fourth has not revealed itself yet.
Brother Lutha Hallan Attempts melee attack on Astropath, misses
Brother Thedius Delaying for Inquisitor see below
Brother Leon
Brother Lucian Gives Orders give a command roll if you have to give out some bonuses to teammates
Brother Elyas Positions himself
Brother Tellemachus Senses he has rid the room of one Unbound Entity with his Psychic attack.
Lord Inquisitor Gathrix replies to Brother Thedius "I would like to interrogate the prisoner. Keep him unconscious though until we can get these entities expelled."
Father Zyas is on the ground, still wounded from before.
The Astropath is limp in Brother Thedius' arms. He seems to be breathing, but only just.
Ordo Hereticus
There is only the dome above us now. There will be a hatch at the end of them to access the dome. The stairs are rarely used. I think if we hurry they will still be distracted by sending the message.
Ordo Hereticus
Agreed, Jyson come here, I want you and Zelra to remain down here in case we missed anything. He whispers something in Jyson's ear in a foreign tongue.
You climb the stairs and reach the top floor. There is more carnage and bodies strewn about. There is an elevator that leads to the Dome, and a narrow flight of stairs, Astartes will have to advance single file up them.
The ground suddenly shakes. Your mag boots react accordingly and remain stable as does the Lord Inquisitor, Father Zyas 1d100 ⇒ 52 is not so lucky and falls. You can hear ordnance going off in the distance.
Ordo Hereticus
I understand, and now you can understand Sister Vesta's attitude on the ship. Sending such messages through the warp are a talent few possess, and those that do suffer from...changes. He glances at Zelra who still has her third eye exposed. Until now we really had no alternative, but now that we do, we will not let this opportunity slip by.
He takes note of the changes Brother Lucian makes and nods. Ready.

Ordo Hereticus
And this is why secrets are kept Astartes. Would you destroy these bound warp-abominations to leave entire fleets and worlds without long distance communication? Well, now that is a choice we no longer have to make. We have made a deal with House Aleene. Will we get their services in exchange for exclusive navigational rights in the region. Today we rid this world of filth, but rest assured you have only been given a glimpse through the key-hole of the true corruption. This is what we are up against. Are you ready for it? The Lord Inquisitor lets the reality set in for a moment and then adds....
Fret not, for all the evil that has been allowed to thrive here, a project was begun years ago when the Calixian Conclave forced the Sisters to leave this place operational. I can not speak of it here, but if it is what I think it is, it has the potential to save this sector.
The Lord Inquisitor looks at the Captain of the PDF. You and your men have seen and heard more than you should. After our mission is completed here, you will take your men and report to Col. Folken for re-indoctrination, is that clear? The Captain nods Yes..Yes Lord sir. He offers an awkward salute.
He looks at Brother Thedius and bows slightly and sweeps his hand inviting the Astartes to lead the team. After you, you have proven to be perceptive. Jyson will be behind you with the psycocollum visor. It picks up emanations of psyker activity.
Ordo Hereticus
"These Astropaths have archaic techniques as I have mentioned. Such knowledge is heretical. Your dark brother knows of what I speak. He nods to Brother Tellemachus.
It is worse than we had hoped, but we planed for this. Father, I will need you inside with me. Father Zyas nods.
*Edit* for psyscience roll
You arrive at the Astropathica Transmitorum with no further incident. Once you get there you realize the PDF is set up around the Transmitorum to keep things from coming out , not from getting in.
Glad you are here Master Astartes, Lord. The, things. They have been making noises and we haven't seen any Astropaths in days. The PDF captain gives his report in a shaky voice.
Ordo Hereticus
Let's get inside now. The Lord Inquisitor says and turns to his captive. Where are they keeping the hosts? The captives eyes widen.
On the top floor, in the observatorium. Please don't make me go in there. The scared sewer scum begs.
You are going no where. The Lord Inquisitor smiles as he fills the scum's head full of melta fire from his Hellax Infernus.
Team on me! The Lord Inquisitor commands as he strides towards the Astropathica Transmitorum.

Ordo Hereticus
What was the Oath you chose? I think I read that you had decided on Brother Lucian Vartas for this mission to lead, if I am wrong please correct it. I saw some lists in Discussion for requisition, is that complete?
Once you are all loaded. The Lord Inquisitor and his retinue board with you. Once you break atmosphere the Lord Inquisitor speaks through a combead to the pilot Tell me when we are over the Transmitorium.
A few moments later he points at Manarc. Manarc undoes his straps and collects his Exitus rifle. The hatch opens and he jumps out. Acrobatics 120-60: 1d100 ⇒ 6 With amazing agility he fires a cable on top of the Transmitorium and uses the momentum of his fall to swing to a higher adjacent building. He rolls on the roof and comes out of it in a perfect position with exitus rifle in hand.
Manarc is in position. When we land lets keep it tight. The Lord Inquisitor says calmly as he adjusts his gear. You can see crowds of hive gangers fighting Arbites and Guardsmen below. The local PDF has a small force around the Transmitorium, and so far the Arbites and Guard have kept them from being over-run.
Ordo Hereticus
Well, as I mentioned, the Astropaths have an outdated system. So we are going to improve it, but don't worry there isn't anymore you need to do. Once you help me get to the Astropathical Transmitorium we will have everything we need on that end handled. The room is suddenly very quiet.
Ordo Hereticus
Appologies, I am addressing the others Brother Lutha, you are part of my team of course. The Lord Inquisitor waves his hands over the room filled with bureaucrats and other logistic personnel.

Ordo Hereticus
I think everyone has had a chance to speak at the table so I will move this forward to the day of the mission. You can post something else you want to do prior to the mission. I think you still have a leader/oath and requisition to do things with
The evening ends well enough. Sister Vesta remained silent after her remark about the mutant unless spoken to, as did Zelra and Manarc. Father Zyas gave an ending sermon for the evening, and it seemed to work you feel fulfilled spiritually even though you would have preferred a Chaplin.
Once again you find yourself in the command deck. This time it is filled with a representative from every aspect of logistics. Even adepts from the Administratum are present. A large amount of psykers are present and the member of the Navis Nobilite that looks like Zelra.
The Lord Inquisitor speaks once all the kill-team has arrived. The rest of the command deck quiets to hear. We are about to arrive at Hredrin. We took our time getting here, sub-warp, but our Navis advised against it and we listened. Anyways, we are now about to embark on our mission. Once my team and I have secured the Astropathica Transmitorium I will give the signal. You need to be ready to make this a clean transition. Any questions?
The first question/comment comes from a member of the Departmento Administratum asking the Lord Inquisitor to try and limit the use of fire-based weaponry if he could so as to save as much of the paperwork as possible. The Lord Inquisitor rolls his eyes and simply says I will see what I can do.
Ordo Hereticus
it should have been done years ago... Sister whispers under her breath
Enough of this talk of missions, surely you must tire of it at some point. Tell me Lutha Hallan, what of your homeworld. Do you miss it? The Lord Inquisitor takes Brother Hallan's suggestion to be informal.
Ordo Hereticus
Please sit. I have some ale gifted me from Fenris for such an occasion. The Lord waits to sit until you have, and his retinue sit after he does.
Sister Vesta seems to be attempting to hide contempt for the Lord Inquisitor.
Jyson Rixx seems fascinated with you and is muttering prayers at the table.
Father Zyas offers a prayer of thanksgiving "May this table, already being blessed by the presence of the glorious holy warriors, chosen Astartes of the God Emperor, continue to receive the light and warm embrace of the divine light of Terra, Amen!
Zelra Aleene remains quiet as she eats. She seems to be looking from Sister Vesta to the Lord Inquisitor a lot.
Manarc seems very alert, but quiet and respectful.
Ordo Hereticus
Feel free to post anything you would like to do prior to meeting the Lord Inquisitor for refreshments. I am going to set up that scene now to save time.
Serfs and servitors greet you as you enter the Lord Inquisitor's chamber on the Pious Immolation. It is a grand hall, and a very large banquet table sits in the center of the room. The Lord walks towards you wearing an even more elaborate suit than before. Welcome Holy Astartes! He smiles as he approaches. Allow me to introduce my comrades.
Ordo Hereticus
Yes, there is room for you Brother Tellemachus, and Yes, Col. Folken is on Deck still, though no longer talking with Sister Vesta who abruptly left.
On Mission So Far
Brother Hallan
Brother Leon
Brother Elyas
Brother Vartas
Brother Tellemachus
Room for one more
Primary Mission Ensure the Lord Inquisitor's safety on Hredrin
Requisition 60 for team
Oath None yet
Leader Possibly Brother Vartas?
"You probably have not met all of them yet. We have 24 hours until we will arrive at Hredrin. Perhaps we can all sit down for some refreshments at my quarters later?"
Ordo Hereticus
"That is understandable Master Astartes. I will be wearing my Ignatus-Pattern Power Armour, and I always have this will me He unhooks his Hellax-Infernus pistol from his belt. Oh, and I did not hear the good Watch Captain mention my retinue will be accompanying me. Four of my most trusted Throne Agents will be with me at all times, but they are very capable I assure you. The Lord Inquisitor smiles. Sister Vesta storms out of the command deck.

Ordo Hereticus
Well it is a weekend so might not get everyone just yet. I will post the beginning for now.
A few moments later a serf comes and let's each of you know your presence is requested on the command deck.
The command deck is a lot more empty than you had seen in the past. Col. Folken is there talking with Sister Vesta, Admiral Williams is speaking with a Navis you have not met, and Lord Inquisitor Gathrix is speaking with your Watch Captain. When you enter the siqn of the Aquila is offered quickly and the Inquisitor begins to speak.
"Welcome Master Astartes, allow me to formally introduce myself. I am Lord Inquisitor Gathrix. I am one of the few original members of the first Tyrantine Cabal, formed many years ago. I was just an acolyte then. Our original plan was to take the sarcophagus to Orendel's Tomb. It is a shrine world in this sub-sector. Between us and Orendel's Tomb is a planet known as Hredrin. Hredrin has sent us a communication regarding the need for assistance, well to be more accurate, they sent out a request for assistance and we happened to be close enough to pick it up quickly. In addition we need to transmit the fate of Grangold to the ruling council on Scintilla and the Calixian Conclave.
The Lord Inquisitor pauses and looks at the Navis still whispering to the Admiral, As I am sure you are aware, Astropaths are responsible for sending long distance communication through the warp. Some of this communication can take years depending on how distant. Hredrin is responsible for much of that communication in the Andrantis sub-sector, so it is imperative we support them. I have been chosen by the cabal to lead the investigative team once we land on Hredrin. Your Watch Captain was gracious enough to select you to be my body guards. After your demonstration on Grangold I am confident in your capable hands there will be no incidents. I will let your Watch Captain give you the particulars.
Ordo Hereticus
A tall thin man in fine clothing meets you all in the hallway.
Excuse me Master Astartes, we have received a transmission. Hredrin is requesting aid. Please if you will follow me.
Report in for mission now. You may roll for the above items once you report in, or if you remain on the ship in the recruitment thread.

Brother Maximus Zacrius
you can add your score with your roll. Fellowship 40: 1d100 ⇒ 15 or fellowship 40+10%charm: 1d100 ⇒ 14
The only Keeper on the Pious Immolation is standing sentry in front of a special vault in a secure area. You are granted access to the area with the provision that you are accompanied by a senior member of the Tyrantine Cabal. A tall thin man in a nicely tailored suit approaches you and says he will enter with you, and suggests you get clearance from your Watch Captain to speak with him due to the strict protocols.
Watch Captain Enoch restricts you from asking the Lord Inquisitor about this planet, and restricts you from telling him about your fellow kill-team members, but you may enter the lower decks with him.
As you walk to see the Keeper the Lord Inquisitor eyes you occasionally, but says nothing except I have always found the Ultramarines to be the purest of chapters. I am glad to have you with us Master Astartes.
The Keeper seems confused by your question Brother I did not craft this bolter, perhaps you have me confused with our Brother Forgemaster? The Inquisitor with you seems baffled by this question and seems to be considering a hidden message you might be trying to pass. He looks at the keeper and simply asks All is well Master Keeper? to which he replies Yes, Lord Inquisitor.
