That is a nice looking dragon, but it looks nothing like a Pathfinder Horned dragon. Where are the leaf-like scales and mossy wings? What are all those extra horns around the head?

Honestly I think having more physical variance and visual variance to each dragon type is good. They're creatures of magic, so having a wider range to their features makes a lot of sense.

Besides, according to the text of Monster Core the identifying physical features of a horned dragon are their obvious and striking horns (check), ridged scales (check), bulky frames (check), and natural coloration (also check). It doesn't look like the horned dragons we've seen so far, but I don't see any issues there.

It seems like you've got the gist of it, yes.

Basically, you can use the rules of the game(s) but none of the setting material (including the Pact Worlds, the Drift, the Gap, etc.) under the OGL for Starfinder First Edition or the ORC for Starfinder Second Edition. You can't release something under both.

If you want to use the setting material in your product, you can do so in conjunction with the OGL/ORC so long as it's a non-commercial product and you adhere to the terms of the Community Use Policy.

Alternatively, you can forego using the OGL/ORC and just use the Starfinder Infinite license, but that does mean you have to be careful about first edition material that might be derivitive of the OGL. Safest bet is to make it a second edition product.

In the first two cases, you can use the Starfinder Compatibility logo for the appropriate edition of the game, if you so choose. Doing so grants you limited rights to use our trademarks, but not the rules, so you'd still need the OGL/ORC (and Community Use Policy if you kept the setting material in the product). You can't use both the Infinite and Compatiblity licenses.

Hope that helps, but as I said, I think you understood it pretty well before I "helped."

Hi Mark, question for you from another enterprising creator. Where would I find the Starfinder Compatability logo for second edition? I downloaded the compatability logos .zip from the Paizo site this morning and it doesn't contain a Starfinder second edition folder. Thanks!

One level 1 deluxe module, two society scenarios day 1, two more society scenarios end of August, two more society scenarios end of September, Guilt of the Graveworld start of October. I get that it's disappointing to not have a day 1 AP but I also don't think discounting the other society scenarios especially when it's one of the major storytelling vessels for Starfinder specifically does anyone any good. It's definitely a slower start than PF2 had, but SF1 started with one AP volume every two months, no modules, and one Society scenario every month after the four at GenCon for the first several months, so I think we're still a leg up there when you count scenarios.

I'm also excited for another one-book AP. I like the monthly format but I also like having the whole campaign in one hardcover.

I agree the evolutionists are a cool concept. Is anyone hoping for additional evolutionist niches? There are two others on Starfinder Infinite (Draconic and Warped). I don't know what the latter is.

Hiya! Glad you liked the ideas I had in my kobold evolutionists book. The warped niche is all about becoming an alternate and better version of yourself, themed around tapping into witchwarper powers and multiversal stuff. It plays up the idea of always changing and ties into some evolutionary focus mechanics. Anyone else interested in picking it up can find it at this link here.

The Pathfinder wiki says this scenario is “All Ages”, but that tag/type isn’t show here. And I know that wiki isn’t The Offical Source. So, two questions:

• Is this scenario part of the “All Ages” group?
  
• Are the any “All Ages” scenarios or is that only for Quests?
  

The wiki typically goes by what's actually shown in the product as opposed to what's on the store page, and the PDF includes the All Ages tag, even though it's absent here. So yes, this scenario is part of the All Ages group.

It’s a “you shall not pass” stance. You gain temporary hp every round. You can Shield Block for allies within 15ft. You gaina a bonus reaction to Shield Block. You can’t move while in the stance.

One note, while some of the feats are as low as level 16, Cenotaph Stance is level 20 as printed. I hope y'all enjoy it!

I believe it's because... he was the author of the original NPCs from the GMG that are also present here. Which makes him the author with the most stat blocks done for this book still probably.

Mark didnt write all the NPCs in the Gamemastery Guide, and wasn't even the dev who assigned those sections. Stephen Radney-Macfarland assigned the NPC sections in the Gamemastery Guide, and I personally wrote the laborer NPCs that were reprinted and expanded on in NPC Core.

Further, I'd be astonished if Mark didn't still freelance for Paizo, even while employed at Roll For Combat. Most folks in the industry work with multiple companies.

I thought this was a particularly funny interaction that I don't think was intentional.

You can throw this weapon as a ranged attack; it is a ranged weapon when thrown. You add your Strength modifier to damage as you would for a melee weapon. When this trait appears on a melee weapon, it also includes the range increment. Ranged weapons with this trait use the range increment in the weapon’s Range entry.

Any ranged weapon with the analog or tech trait.

My operative player and I agreed that while a shooting starknife, when thrown, is a ranged weapon with the analog trait, it probably shouldn't count as a gun for operative proficiency... But we did get a laugh out of it, and I figured this would be a good place to point it out.

There is also the NPC Index line for sale on Pathfinder Infinite, and it has Foundry integration

Yeah, Jamie Trollope did such a good job with the NPC Index line that I'd expect to see his name in some Paizo products coming up.

Hey, question. My subscription authorization has the standard "Will be in your downloads once shipped" text for everything except the SF2 playtest rulebook. We're getting the PDFs of those once they ship like usual, right?

Dimension of Time stuff would be really cool, especially given that there's a wanderlust siktempora in the backmatter of SF1's Drift Crashers AP.
