You cna also tell that she appears to be more muscular and athletic than the typical Kyton. Most likely she is stronger and a far deadlier opponent.
Laori smiles back to Jerin and jumps down to walk over to him. She leans over to whisper something.

The woman is a Kyton from the plane of darkness the realm of Zon-Kuthon. The chains on their bodies are not for mere decoration, but are actually a deadly weapon too as well as armour. They can also change the shape and form of their face to resemble someone's dearly departed or bitter enemy to throw them off in battle. They have resistance to spells and regernate against most attacks where only good aligned weapons, spells or silver weapons peirce.
The map shows this room is actually only 5ft in thickness so battle in here would be very difficult if you wish to just strike out at them.
Laori nods
Nothing from your knowledge religion tells you of any significance they could have to any religion. They are just very grotesque and unnerving paintings. The paintings done show up anything under detect magic, however they are very unnerving and the door into this room has a magic aura around it, that you can tell is the Alarm spell. Since Pilts began screaming when Curnach had entered this room it was most likely linked to him. Laori pauts and crosses her arms.

lol that's fine and also quite agree, but you guys do have the key to unlock the padlock when you guys wish to enter. The pictures in the room before Salvatore's have three beautiful portraits in them, as in the spoiler I gave to Curnach which I'll repost here. All the paintings are original Scream productions that can be sold for a large price to any collector of his art. The portraits are as follows: The first depicts a full portrait of a thin humanoid wearing shadows like a robe as he stands framed by a dolmen of great size. The figure's brilliant blue eyes are the only true points of colour in the piece. They seem to glow with anger and leer into your soul. You somewhat feel uncomfortable as you stare back into them, almost as if they're sucking you into it. You can't quite grasp it, but you swear there is something familiar about this picture, though you can't place it anywhere. The painting is worth 450 gp. The second picture depicts a rugged mountain range above a desert under a brilliant blue sky. In the foreground, a quartet of Vudran tusked camels ridden by N'darr tribesmen race across dunes that, when you take a closer look, consist of tiny skulls. Again, something ominous comes to mind, but you can't place it. This piece is worth 1,100 gp. The final and most expensive one is also the most disturbing. It depicts a handsome man in the process of peeling away the flesh of his arms as if he were taking off a pair of gloves revealing muscular arms covered with glittering blue scales. The man's expression is one of delight, yet his eyes are empty pits of blackness. Half seen in the shadows beyond him are what can only be thousands of humans impaled on towering wooden poles erected in the shadow of an indistinct shape looming on the horizon-perhaps a castle, maybe a mountain, but likely something more that makes you think back to something else you recognise, however you can't get a good grasp of what it could be from. This last painting is worth a staggering 2,000 gp. Laori shows great interest in these paintings.
She's standing right there lol. "I just wanted to investigate as I could not add anything to the battle at that time." she claims planely, allowing Krenn to go to the room first. Upon opening you find inside appears to be a art supplies area with 12 paintings. Laori gasps in excitement and runs over to the paintings, however after a minute of searching through them she sighs heavily, shaking her head.
There is a key that was in the Emporor's possession which most likely unlocks Salvatore's room.

Curnach:
When you enter the hallway you see three doors down the hallway. You try the one on the left where you find what appears to be a store-room. You don't find anything of much interest here besides crates, boxes and barrels that make the dimensions of the room hard to tell. These all appear to be props, tools and other bits salvaged from Exemplary Execrables. If any of the materials have value, the fact these have been burnt from the fire that destroyed the place makes them worthless. The door opposite this room is also unlocked and as you make your way inside a sickly sweet smell assaults your senses. A combination of flowers and vinegar. The smell most likely coming from the fourteen poorly-preserved heads mounted on the walls in this trophy hall. Most of the heads appear to be human, although two are elves and one is from a dwarf. To the north is a small child-sized bed sits against the wall opposite a wooden table decorated with a magnificent set of silverware. You take some time looking at the items and the silverware set, as it is in a complete collection is worth 500 gp, but you also find a platinum and crystal decanter filled with fine brandy on the table. The item alone is worth 750 gp. Seeing another door you make your way through to find a extravagantly decorated bedroom would feel at home in the richest of noble villas or monarchs' castles, at least until one looks a little more closely at the sheets on the four-poster bed and notes how stained and frayed they are or examines the tapestries and curtains and sees the patches of mould and threadbare edges. A tall and well-stocked bookcase to the south turns out to be leaning against the wall for support. The contents of its sagging shelves are poorly produced books with violent or erotic names on their mildewed spines with everything in the room appearing to be musty, stained with age and well-beyond its prime. Only three paintings hang in this wall, all grisly subject matter and done by Salvatore Scream. There is another door here however it is secured with a lock and a heavy wooden bar. Most of the furnishings in this room are well-used props from countless plays and productions they've seen much use, however Pilts clearly found a use for them to hang them up. As you check the paintings you hear a squeal behind you as Laori enters the room with her eyes fixated on the paintings and staring deeply into them, forgetting that you are in the room at the moment. All the paintings are original Scream productions that can be sold for a large price to any collector of his art. This last painting is worth a staggering 2,000 gp. "If you have no interest in the paintings, may I have all three? I'll even buy them off you. These are the reason I've come for Salvatore. Such skill and such...beauty..." she trails off as she looks deeply, concentrating on the picture of the man removing the skin off his body.

The basement is deserted with only a few scurrying rats that run away at the sight of light and thundering footsteps from the powerful group. Laori sighs, shaking her head.
"Let's go pay this man a visit." she smirks as Laori tightens her grip on her weapon. "As much as I would love to torture him out deal is for Salvatore so I'll leave the final blows to you, but what do we do with the last one here? He did attack us afterall and I doupt he'll be missed." she looks over at the man who appears to be petrified with fear, even more unnerved from her cheery, happy attitude.

"There is a guard room at the entrance with six mean bastards like the man you cut down." he points to the man who was cut down by Krenn, the meanest of the group of thugs. "Six more in the throne room and eighteen on the rooftops, turned into some kind of areana. There is one final room the Emporor throws those unloyal subjects into if he wishes to have them suffer instead of using his tall knife. I don't know what's in there, but I have once seen a body and it's neck was broken and streached with horrible marks on it. He has a room with a artist in it right at the back. I don't like his paintings, they are all frightening." at this Laori's smile widened as she heard this.
Krenn cuts down two of the thugs as if they were nothing with that vicious axe of his slicing and chopping. The other bandits are surprised by the strength of the dwarf.
