Silver Crusade

She face palms at Arthur's words but as the hand comes down a sly smile can be seen. She then winks and just waits patiently.

She states but waits for any resistance before leaving, "I will take those who I can carry and take them back to mother."

Silver Crusade

The flight of dragons do indeed have several reds approach once you get close to the pinacle but they don't engage or are chased off by your entourage.

Tessara lands and releases the group. She baits you a bit saying, "Okay head off to the tribal fort over there. I will be walking so keep me safe!"

Silver Crusade

She takes a quick moment to herself and quickly comes back in her dragon form with her backpack on her wrist. The large dragoness states, "I am merely coming along as a wife and observer. Don't think of me as a mount but as an avenue of travel. Shall we?"

With that she flaps her wings and grabs Cyril and Saffire with her front claws letting Arthur ride on her back. Saronis gets picked up with her tail and soon enough you are all being carried by a flying huge golden dragon. Several more golden dragons join the flight and follow along.

Silver Crusade

No worries, I have become much more informal with my new family!

My first name is Tessara. You may call me Tess. You could even offer up other pet names.

Lady Tessara Velris-Stavain!

Woot - woot for the win! Let's keep it rollin'!

Silver Crusade

She offers up, "I could carry our family with ease. Especially since Ed can fly for himself. We should look into getting some of you a mode of flight but that can be after we find the treasure trove. Mother may I please borrow a portable hole to bring back loot with?"

"I'll admit", Cyril says. "I'm a little nervous about being around other people. Everyone around me know has been my Family for a hundred years."

"Now I realize that amount of time is nothing to a dragon", Cyril bows his head toward Lady Velris, "but it is still disconcerting. You be over 120 years old and still in my physcial prime, and continue to be so until my eventual death." The wizard pauses. "I know many of you don't like when I talk of such topics, but it's all I can think of now as we rejoin society."

"You will get used to it. Give it another few centuries and you should get a feel for it." She replies back.

Silver Crusade

It would take her at least a few years, maybe decades, but eventually she treats you like a brother.

Silver Crusade

She offers thinking you would be thrilled, "Cyril you are more than welcome to catalog the ordeal in as much detail as you wish. Though soon enough we will be family so... please forgive my dragon arrogance." Her demeanor lessens as she works at being humble.

Silver Crusade

She takes on a neutral face with a warm smile, "Let me teach you then. The egg I left behind was a non fertilized egg. Whereas knowing Arthur this coming egg will come to fruition. Dragon eggs do mature longer with us than birds or reptiles. After all we are magical beasts, and beyond child bearing we are more closely related to felines.
Now on the topic of child bearing, if we want more we will have them. Though after the first egg or eggs, most dragons reproductive organs go dormant. Typically for years.
Most dragons have a clutch of eggs, typically 3 to 5. My mother had been known to have two eggs in each clutch.
What else would you like to know?

Silver Crusade

She looks at Cyril with a sly grin and teases him, talking to him with a child's tone, "You don't know much about eggs and dragons do you?"

Lord Cyril Lucan wrote:

Cyril smiles simply and takes a small bow. The pair have a century to say whatever needs to be said.

"I was thinking a lot ab out our time in Queen Celest's Realm. I had many wonderful discussions with various dragons, and i think the one thing we need to do as sublime beings, is to adopt an draconic mindset. Dragons often have plans that take several decades or centuries to gain fruition. I believe 'taking the long view' on subjects and matters will serves us all well."

Cyril turns and asks Lady Velris her opinion. "Do you have any thoughts on my proposal?"

She nods seeming to understand the aspects of being Sublime. She concurs, "Yes, having a long view will be essential. Set your goals and state your dreams."

Lord Cyril Lucan wrote:

When they come back he happily greets the rest of their merry band. Lady Velris looks a bit ashamed, no longer vindicated.

Cyril bows in a courtly manner to the beautiful gold dragon. "Lady Velris. Thank you for coming. I'm so glad you came to support your beloved and for your own intellectual growth. I'm very sure over the next century, we will all get to know each other very well. May our bonds strengthen with time."

She smiles sweetly and curtsies to his bow. She nods in agreement and states, "Oh yes, I am sure very well. Arthur will prove himself husband material. Yes! May our bonds strengthen with time."
