We've been having an ongoing conversation in one of my games and the resolution doesn't make any sense to me. The ruling has been that animals cannot make a 5-foot step adjustment, they would have to make it as a move action.

My character, a druid, has an animal companion with an intelligence of 3, but I've been told that the animal can no longer make 5-foot steps, she has to take a move-action to do it.

I searched the forums for an answer and couldn't find anything. What is the general opinion of the community or is there something specific in the rules about this?

I have no problem with animals (including the ones that want to bite my head off) taking a 5-foot step as an adjust then still taking their full attack action.

My home campaign has always rolled abilities. However, about a month ago, two of the players informed the rest of the group that they rerolled until they got something they liked.

This ticked me off, since my stats are miserable and they're working with 18-16-16-15-13-9...

Their desire to cheat has caused me to insist on a point-buy from now on.

Cheaters ruin it for everyone.

There will be no opportunity to create an AP subscription that starts with Jade Regent #1 before Gen Con.

However, we will have the ability to create subscriptions at our booth at Gen con, so the way to start an AP subscription with Jade Regent #1 and pick it up at Gen Con is to create your subscription at Gen Con. Just grab your Jade Regent #1 and your Ultimate Combat from the shelf, bring it up, and let the cashier (which may very well be me) know that you want to start a subscription with the books. We'll get ya set up right there. :)

Thanks for the reply!! I have a follow-up (somewhat self-serving) question, if I set up the subscription there, will I be able to get the "Pathfinder Advantage" discount on stuff I get from paizo at gencon?

I sent an email to Customer Service yesterday asking the exact same question, Brian. I haven't gotten an answer yet.

Thanks everyone, for the help. We're about halfway through the book, I think. So, I'll be adding a little bit into the last session or two.

I'm thinking of just having a roaming crew of bandits attack, and possibly something else.

I did a quick forum search for this, and couldn't find anything. I apologize if I missed a relevant post.

I just tallied up all the available xp left in the first adventure path, and I'm roughly 4,000 short, meaning that each of my characters will be about 1,000 xp away from level 4, which I thought they were to reach in the Stag Lord's fort.

Am I missing something? 100 xp for each hex, 400 xp for each quest? Are some quests worth more?

I wouldn't say THE Local Gaming Store but I would say one of the best, its definitely the most spacious. I love a small place called Dave's Clubhouse down in Reynoldsburg. We won't mention The Soldiery... Comic Town doesn't cater to RPGs well enough... But yeah, The Guardtower is nice.

Tuesday evenings is nice, I love not doing stuff on weekends.
