If Kabayo does come, Kidlat will move to the bottom to meet his mount and retrieve the rope, and the Lance as that is being tied to the saddle using said rope. He will then like to try to tie up the unconscious goblin as best he can.

"Hmm, I guess it's probably best if I just call Kabayo over and get my own rope then." Kidlat says as he raises his fingers to his lips so as to whistle when he realizes something. He drops his hands to his side as he moves towards the ladder and follows Sabs up to the top. From there, he looks out to see if he can notice any sneak attacks that might endanger his horse, or anything else of great note.
NG Male Human Samurai 1 (HP:13 AC:18 T:11 F:17 Saves: F+4 R+1 W+1 CMB+5 CMD=16 Init+1 Perc+4 XP:555/2000)
As he waits for Ela'in to answer, or for Butoka and Chakki to come over, Kidlat decides to answer the gnomes question with a query of his own.
"Animal...husbandry? I'm not married to my horse. I just take care of him. Would you happen to have any rope on you?"
Kidlat's present confusion is not only evidenced by his gross misunderstanding of the word "husbandry" but also by the sheer look of perplexion upon his face. Clearly, coming face-to-face with such a strange creature has now challenged his very understanding of how the world works. Not only is the tongue-twister of a name still confounding him, but he now finds himself deeply contemplating the need for a sociologist to study humans and what benefits it could possibly have, but also the meaning regarding Sabs' comments about his marital relationship with Kabayo.
Inner Monologue:
"She says it's amazing, but everything she said about it is the exact opposite of amazing! What could it possibly mean?!? And there's got to be an easier way for her to explain what it is that she studies!!!"
And so, to potentially alleviate some of the mental strain brought on by this encounter, Kidlat continues to speak.
"If not, I suppose I could go and get Kabayo...I hope he's not too far off...and that he's alright."
Little does Kidlat know that "Anthropology", a useful field of study that can provide much benefit to all sorts of peoples in a wide variety of ways, would answer many of his questions. Alas, his vocabulary and subsequent vernacular are somewhat lacking.
A repeat of earlier questions as this new post created a new page in the campaign, making it easier to reference if I do it this way.Wasn't there a body in one of the rooms? Would Kidlat have seen that or did we gain any information from that at all?
NG Male Human Samurai 1 (HP:13 AC:18 T:11 F:17 Saves: F+4 R+1 W+1 CMB+5 CMD=16 Init+1 Perc+4 XP:555/2000)
Upon seeing the gnomic woman enter into the room, and hearing her referral to him as a new friend for a second time now, Kidlat realizes that he hasn't really introduced himself.
"Hey, I haven't really introduced myself yet," Kidlat says as he turns toward Sabs and puts his right hand upon his chest, "I am Kidlat Jager, thank you for helping keep my compatriots safe during that battle."
Kidlat turns his head once more to the goblin laying against the wall, "...we should prooobably tie it up before we revive it though...just to be safe...Does anyone have any rope? I have some on Kabayo..."
Kidlat turns toward Sabs once more, slightly embarrassed that he just referenced a creature she would have little to no knowledge of, "Kabayo Schnell is the name of my horse...which reminds me, what was your name again?
Lifting his head up in thought, Kidlat continues his prior thought, "Anyway, I have some rope in his pack, but I sent him out of this village because the mud was really slowing him down. I didn't want him to become an easy target for the goblins, so there's that. Does anyone have any rope or something else we could tie this up with?"
Wasn't there a body in one of the rooms? Would Kidlat have seen that or did we gain any information from that at all?
NG Male Human Samurai 1 (HP:13 AC:18 T:11 F:17 Saves: F+4 R+1 W+1 CMB+5 CMD=16 Init+1 Perc+4 XP:555/2000)
Kidlat sheathes his blade and picks up the unconscious goblin, moving it over to the corner of the room where it can rest against the wall.
Kidlat is speaking in an empty room:
"Did anyone else hear them say something about us not being skeletons? That's weird, right? I want to ask this one about that, if you guys think that's all right."
Kidlat then turns around and realizes that there's no one else in the room with him. "oh..." he says in a somewhat dejected manner.
"Hey, commere a second. There's something weird about this place!" Kidlat says just loud enough to be heard easily by the other party members.
Not necessarily targeting him as several characters have families, and it would probably be much later on that the villain might check to find weaknesses that the party members might have. Victor here is just the only one who is presently trying to hide this fact, and I wouldn't want such a low level spell to destroy that secrecy right away (hence the looking in advance for counters to the spell).
Given who the villain is, Vincent (who in story is the leader of the party) would have to be prepared for anything. As I said, I'm going to make him aware that the spell is a possibility long before I have the villain's minions use it. This is near end game type of plays, just trying to figure out how he can counter that far ahead of time if at all possible.
The range and concentration aspect is important, thanks for pointing that out.
I am currently running a game in which one of the players (we shall refer to him as Victor) is playing a smart/strategic character that is also attempting to keep his family secret, so as to protect them from being sought after by those who might do them harm.
However, it stands to reason that the moment he shows up on the villain's radar (and he technically has since before the campaign even officially began), the villain or one of his underlings might attempt to learn more about Victor through various means, including magic.
Now, this would mean that through the usage of spells such as Discern Next of Kin would instantly put Vincent's family at risk. Because the player behind Vincent is relatively unaware of the full extent of what Pathfinder has as far as spells are concerned, I figured I would first alert him to the spell's existence and let him find his own way after that.
With that being said, so as to prevent myself from having to do a ton of research at a later date, what are some possible counters to Low-level divination spells like that? Most magic items I have been able to find are incredibly expensive or only temporary. Are there any ways to counteract such divinations staticly?
Casting Time 1 standard action
Components V, S, F (a copper piece)
EFFECT
Range 60 ft.
Target one creature
Duration concentration, up to 1 minute/level (D)
Saving Throw Will negates (see text); Spell Resistance yes
DESCRIPTION
You can scan the thoughts of one individual and learn the names and locations of the target’s living relatives, as well as the attitude of the target toward those relatives (and vice versa). You learn about one relative per round you concentrate on the target. For example, you might learn the target’s father’s name, that the father lives on a nearby farm, and that the target and his father don’t get along. Since this spell reads the target’s mind, you can learn only what the target knows or believes.

@SamuraiNitta, I just realized that you still had "everyone should designate a round number in the beginning of their post" in the rules. Did you still want us to do that? I noticed that you've been doing that in your posts, and I can start doing that in my next one if that's what you desire.
Also, the rules section is hidden under the Dice Macros.
Hope everything's going well with your classwork and such!

Kidlat is taken aback momentarily as he watches the goblin pair incinerated before his eyes before he realizes that he has an opportunity. Stepping behind the (dark blue) goblin so as to have a more advantageous position (5 ft step), he raises his katana for a strike against this for (standard - attack) from the pommel of his blade (Nonlethal attempt).
"I'm kind of curious what's going on here. Let's leave at least one alive."
posting from my phone right now, I'm unsure if I will have time to access a computer to change the map until later tonight. I've tried my best to describe what I was trying to do if anyone would mind updating g the map in my stead like what @Sabs so kindly did last time.
NG Male Human Samurai 1 (HP:13 AC:18 T:11 F:17 Saves: F+4 R+1 W+1 CMB+5 CMD=16 Init+1 Perc+4 XP:555/2000)
Kidlat jumps back in surprise as the arrow reverberates in the doorframe as he looks at it for a single moment before he notices the goblin beginning to stand up in front of him. Seeing the opportunity to strike while the goblin is vulnerable, Kidlat swings his katana at his target. (Attack of Opportunity - blue goblin)
The goblin should have a -4 to AC as he hasn't resolved the standing up movement yet. I only say this because I personally just found out, not because I thought that anyone was unaware.
After dealing what he believes to be a debilitating blow to the goblin, he turns around and rushes (move) in front of Ela'in.
This should provoke an attack of opportunity if the goblin does not fall. I am presently on my way to work and posting from my phone. I will update the map later from my computer if need be

Yes, I understand how delaying an action and such works, I just wasn't exactly sure if it worked any different in the block initiative that we are presently using.
NG Male Human Samurai 1 (HP:13 AC:18 T:11 F:17 Saves: F+4 R+1 W+1 CMB+5 CMD=16 Init+1 Perc+4 XP:555/2000)
Kidlat, seeing the goblins just on the other side of the door, readies himself for an opening for him to move through.
"I'm afraid there's not much I can do right now." he says as he raises his blade.
I had posted moments before this post, but then almost immediately realized that the action which I took wouldn't actually be in line with Kidlat's character. This non-action is a bit more so.
Would I be able to hold for the moment that the goblin on the other side of Butoka falls, rendering that a space through which I can walk?
You could roleplay the prison. The players might cultivate an intellectual pursuit for the Lich--some kind of unsolvable intellectual puzzle that will occupy the Lich's undivided attention for centuries.
How are you roleplaying your Lich? What are the Lich's motivations?
Well, it's a home brewed world in which one kingdom (Kingdom A for the sake of discussion) has come into conflict with Kingdom B. Kingdom B happens to be a kingdom with powerful necromatic powers at their disposal, resulting in an army of undead.
Seeing the dire circumstances set forth by this war, my lich, who is something of a nationalist in Kingdom A, decides that the only way to combat this undead hoard is to ascend to lichdom, thereby gaining more power over undeath than the necromancers in Kingdom B.
I am presently trying to imagine possible endings to a long-running campaign that I am GMing for wherein the main villain is a lich.
However, I had made some modifications to the phylactery to more closely resemble the popular trope often found in literature, namely the phylactery only being destructible through special processes such as dropping the ring into the fire from whence it came or destroying all seven of them through powerful magics. Ultimately, I suppose this results in the phylactery being slightly more difficult to destroy if certain conditions are met.
With that being said, in the event that my players will be unable to destroy the phylactery and thus kill the lich, they may need to settle for imprisonment instead.
Would an anti-magic field suffice for rendering the phylactery null and void, and therefore one could potentially serve as a suitable prison?
NG Male Human Samurai 1 (HP:13 AC:18 T:11 F:17 Saves: F+4 R+1 W+1 CMB+5 CMD=16 Init+1 Perc+4 XP:555/2000)
1.) Was the goblin's "Get them!" shout in common or was it in goblin?
2.) Yeah, you cannot move on a full round action. That's why I made the attack roll to hit a prone character and didn't crit the dice+add the Katana's Deadly special ability. While it was meant to end the goblin's life, it functionally couldn't serve as a Coup de Grace
3.) Would I be in charge of moving Kabayo when Kidlat is not riding him or are you SamuraiNitta?
NG Male Human Samurai 1 (HP:13 AC:18 T:11 F:17 Saves: F+4 R+1 W+1 CMB+5 CMD=16 Init+1 Perc+4 XP:555/2000)
Out of curiosity, there appears to be some disparity between Kidlat's actions regarding Kabayo and Sabs'.
"He urges Kabayo back to safety, hoping that he won't become a big target in whatever fight is about to ensue."-Kidlat's action after dismounting
and Sabs in her latest post fed him a date (which is a great in character action. Absolutely love it).
Merely for the sake of understanding canon, was one of these rendered void? Is Kabayo in the mud presently or has he retreated to safety? I have no qualms either way.
NG Male Human Samurai 1 (HP:13 AC:18 T:11 F:17 Saves: F+4 R+1 W+1 CMB+5 CMD=16 Init+1 Perc+4 XP:555/2000)
As Kidlat yanks his blade free from the wall, he looks over at one of the unconscious goblins. A slightly worried look washes over his face.
Inner monologue:
They killed all of the caravan guards, save for Butoka...something seems odd here, with the village being eerily silent as I was watching them come in...however...
Kidlat slowly makes his way past Butoka, his sword almost limp by his side.
"Goblins can do already do a lot of harm..." he whispers to himself.
Looking at the goblin laying prone before him, Kidlat swiftly raises his katana, slicing the goblin's neck.(Attack)
Coup de Grace is a full round action, so this is what I am left with.
If you wanted to try it anyway, it'd be extremely situational and subject to GM fiat. For example, if a player at my table grasped a flail-head-sized rock with their whip and tried to attack with it, I'd treat the result as an improvised flail that would likely detach into rock and whip after the first strike.
In this scenario, I am the GM. I'm just accustomed to playing with Rules Lawyers and Power Gamers, so I wanted to make sure that what I was doing had a solid foundation upon which to rely.
NG Male Human Samurai 1 (HP:13 AC:18 T:11 F:17 Saves: F+4 R+1 W+1 CMB+5 CMD=16 Init+1 Perc+4 XP:555/2000)
@Sabs, yes sorry, I did momentarily forget about the bless...or rather I had momentarily forgotten that bless was not a touch spell. I had initially assumed that Butoka was the only target of that spell.
Is there a feat or other ability that allows for one to attack with an object grasped by a whip? The only reference I can find to that ability is in Improved Whip Mastery, and that expressly forbids such an action.
I was told that Greater Whip Mastery has this option, but I'm not seeing it there.

Kidlat reaches the top of the ladder and stands up tall as he draws his katana and shield (free action) (earlier mention would have been physically impossible). Making his way past Ela'in (Move), he attempts to strike the goblin through the narrow window that he has (Standard Attack).
Not sure if this is even possible or if there are additional penalties for which I am not accounting for. However, here are my rolls.

Stepping into the mud that pervades the goblin village, "Ack!" Kidlat exclaims, "There's no use having Kabayo here."
As he begins to dismount, Kidlat notices the gnomic woman greeting him. He pauses for a moment, having not expected this sort of encounter (bit decides against it after what she said), before addressing his friends.
"Are you guys alright?" he whispers to them so as to not spook any eavesdroppers. He dismounts Kabayo and ties his lance to the saddle once more, opting to wield his katana instead.
He urges Kabayo back to safety, hoping that he won't become a big target in whatever fight is about to ensue.

Upon seeing his compatriots, Kidlat relaxes a little. "Oh good, they're safe."
"Wait a second, what is that?" Kidlat sits up straight upon Kabayo's saddle once more, carefully observing the gnomic individual. Is that...a gnome? What's a gnome doing here?"
Kidlat's grip upon his lance tightens. "Is she threatening them? What's going on?"
Kidlat observes these occurrences for but a moment before realizing, "They don't appear to be in any peril, and if they were they would have signaled me by now," and Kidlat's grip on his lance loosens slightly.

For GM:
Kidlat watches the group enter the village without issue and breathes a sigh of relief. If it is a trap, I'm sure they'll signal me.
He sits still for about a minute, slowly getting restless. However, if it is a trap, it seems like a well laid trap, perhaps one too elaborate for goblins to set. They are capable though, they might be able to handle themselves.
