Female Human Antipaladin 'Knight of the Sepulcher' lvl 1

Didn't know how much to respond with XP Anyways, if that sorta amount is considered unnecessary I have no problems dialing back; normally in my games played before, my lengthy response was necessary, as everything was both action>counteraction>action form.

Sonofa-

Welp, life is funny. I am now looking for a job AND my Old dm finally decided to get off his ass and start back up his home game, so I'm going to be more busy than before, so I don't know if I can play; so I'm gonna go ahead and withdraw my entrance; not like there's any lack of people to fill my spot if I was being chose anyways. Have fun guys~

Immune to being turned into a vampire? Dam thats cool.

As a Anti-paladin you get that too. Though how effective it makes me wonder, seeing as the require meant for vamparism normally is to be killed by a vampires blood drain ability ( Thought the dm can make the disease upon saliva or blood contact and do it that way if they wish; it is their game after all.) On weather my immunity to being affected by Diseases would work on my corpse.

Female Human Antipaladin 'Knight of the Sepulcher' lvl 1

So whats everybodys battle plans?

I'm a Barbearian, so run in raged and transformed, kinda goes with the terotory; but let's see how that can work out for everybody aswell~

@Mp Campbell

While they are feats, I think they are feats only for progression features; and that they are auto awarded to those that meet the criteria anyways until the first real set of vampire stuff, then getting into optional stuff later.

I could be completely wrong; Doesn't matter because as soon as I hit level 3 I'm immune to all diseases affects including magical kinds. Doesn't stop me from passing them around like a walking std magnet, but I can't have them affect me, so after lvl 3 vampirsm will do nothing to me besides let me get it to other people that I squirt my blood into their open wounds.

Yeah all the people that dumped con on purpose will feel some pain, though My end goal is to buff up as much ac as possible to deter people from hitting me, and trying to move past me to get at the squishy back liners, in which time I go and cut them from behind in their foolishness. Not the best team plan, but What does my character care if her 'Allies' get a few injuries while she slaughters enemies easy?

Also Ha, I get negative healing way before everybody else then~

Sorry that you all can't go X.x If only that was possible ~.~

Think of it this way, if your a dhampir, then you are pre-undead and start with negative energy healing, which anti-paladins and evil clerics will be using.

And as for the choices of who get's to play, well thats largely based on what kind of set up the gm likes

We have about 4 different people that could be a front lines damage sponge, 1 true healer ( Though to be fair healing in a evil campaign is almost a moot point before we have negative energy affinity), a GOOD bunch of casters ( I feel the real pick will be between the large amount of arcane casters, as there are so many, and that's a good thing when the gm is looking for variety, as opposed to the corrupted paladins.), and a ranged damage dealer that's not a caster. For the small amount of classes like the tankers it will mostly depending on back-story and dedication to the part, where as casters are gonna be looking at every little detail that makes one person more of a choice than another.

Still to everybody; I wish you luck at getting picked and have my fingers crossed that I will be on that list~

Growth, until he stops growing because he's been turned into a undead like everybody else~

Anti-paladin's are great; Think mine Is a bit more mentally unstable then yours however.

The time draws near, who will be picked~

Barbarians without a con score obviously needs to roll as a urban barbarian. Still no moral, but takes no ac penalty, and can use all mental ability while raging.

@MPChampbell You have a good point. I wouldn't even be a Human if It wasn't for the whole Ex-paladin thing. I considered playing a dhampir Fighter for a little while; but the Ideal that I could become a undying Graveknight with enough magic to raise her own army instead of depending on clerics or necromancers ( Graveknights have the power to just completely control undead with no intelligence permanently.) We all seems to have a similar wish for the city and are all having some motive behind our actions; but we all want different things, so I can smell so infighting later in the game, when we all have enough power to be able to betray each other.

As for everybody backing out; that's a shame, would have been nice to play with any one of you, every body so far has brought something fresh to the table, even me and the other anti-paladin are different even with similar goals. Still I'm sure the Gm will understand if you can't play do to things.

To the GM- How long will recruitment last till?

Drow are the quintessential Evil Race. It's not done to death so much as, the most fitting ever always. Kinda like humans, it's just the most common of races for that type of campaign.

A bit late getting to this, but I kinda did a mini backstory on the crimes part just as a goof and a teaser to the character and what would be part of the backstory. Now, for the full thing~ ROLL THE TAPE!!!!!!

Backstory:
Karias was born into the regal Proudfist family, who for generations had been serving as part of the city's beacons of light, each one after another joining the Knights of Alerion and staunchly rooting out evil as it was found. Karias was no different, inducted into the order at a young age she work along side her father and brothers, both of the order and of blood.

Up until recently she has been a devout follower of Mitra, believing in her divine protection to guide her through life. That was until her goddess failed her in most dire hour. A cult of necromancers had snuck into the city, goal set upon infiltrating the crypts and raising the dead to make a army. It could have ether been fortune or fate that lead them to hide away in her family home, or that she thought she could handle the intruders alone. Upon her next waking she was on a rack, blades impaled into her body in the most vulnerable places, the pain seeping into every pore of her body, and the screams. She had lost sight of weather they where her own screams or the screams of her family's they where subjected to the same torture.

After what felt like weeks she was forced to endure it, as well having the cult force feed her gruel, and heal her wounds only to open them once more, she had to watch as her brothers and father put up with the same, beg and plead for release, for a end to come. Begging their goddess for rescue.

After a meeting with the cults leader with a summoned divination, the prisoners where forced into a large cage they had constructed, each given a sword and told if they wanted to live they had to kill. She watch as her father and eldest brother killed themselves to avoid the pain of harming another. Thats around the time when something clicked in her mind- There were no gods. There where no goddesses. None of them would every allow such a fate to come to their most devout followers. There was only one thing that was the truth- Power. And she needed power. Power to live. Power to continue existing.

She reached for the blade tossed at her feat and raised it high, feigning the act of suicide just as her father and sibling had, and when one of her family ran to stop her, she struck, blade tearing through flesh and bone as she murdered the man only trying to help her. And it felt good. One after another she picked off the family who cowered in fear of death.

After the blood stopped flowing she stood in the middle, bodies surrounding her and blood drenching her ruined clothing and hands, Looking to the ult with hungry eyes asking 'I don't want to live. I want power.' The cult only laughed in merriment and took her back to her rack, and plunged the blades back into her body. There was pain, but it was good pain, The pain of a job well done.

After a few hours they summoned up their master once more, and she was offered the power she desired, and all she had to do was to make the city fall and rise again under her banner. To make corpses line the streets, but not to decompose, the corpses would move, shamble; form a new kingdom of the wicked and the damned. She greedy agreed, and the cult freed her fro her binds and handed her a blade. The first thing she did was plunge it through the cults bodies, in which they accepted whole heatedly; their job was done, and their master had his champion.

Not knowing, or caring what she may have aligned herself with she walked out of the cellar, into the light and down the street, coated with gore and caked blood. She was quickly stopped by a band of fellow orders-men, that where being sent to investigate the disappearance of her family, that had 'Left the City' in the middle of the night. Cutting them down she was quickly outmatched and pulled a trump card, using their laws against them and demanding a fair trial.

Of course she was found guilty, she expected nothing less; but she had faith that she would be saved in the end, her master had promised her power, and she had to do was wipe out the city and start from scratch; he wouldn't let that happen if she was dead, and even if she died he would still use her to his whims. There was no way to lose anymore. Death was all that she needed~

@ GM of Binding Light

Mind putting put a list of the total players with valid builds ready to go; I'd like to see my odds of being picked on the front page. We have something close to about 12 people with builds whipped up if I'm not mistaken.

Don't worry We ALL make mistakes around here, Wasn't blaming you, just helping to make things a wee bit easier For the gm~ I also sometimes forget that oracle isn't a Core class due to it's massive amount of versatility.

@Undead, Oracle is also banned, s it's a base class, not a core one. For future reference of everyone, and no I'm not trying to be a ass, just clarifying the words he has said because your not the first to not notice, The core classes are- Barbarian, Bard, Cleric, Druid, Fighter, Monk, Paladin, Ranger, Rogue, Sorcerer, and Wizard. No other Classes are being considered, and arch types must be within the first content update, or APG to the core classes.

'How many Decaps does that make today?'
"I count Six"
'But that last villager had been cursed with a extra head!!'
"He only one body left behind, doesn't count as two."
'Cheater!'

Just keep trying, and I'm kinda hopping to become a grave knight with my Archtype, Knight of the Sepulcher; which turns me into a pure undead upon reaching lvl 20. As this is a evil/ Undead campaign I'm hopping that qualifys as enough to be turned into a Graveknight as soon as I fall the first time.

Edit: 45, holy hell that trumps my 29. Hope that doesn't mean you get picked over me for having better stats, though I doubt that will be how we get picked. Would be awesome for two Anti-broadins though. Who needs casters when we can run through everything slaughtering the holy and just beneath our tankness?

Another Anti-paladin. Hello Bravah. Treading the same path to eternal unlife as me I see. I plan to make the city my own eternal empire of death and damnation after some time. Will take quick a long time and effort to accomplish this feat though. Then I will alos have to worry about the other pcs wanting the same thing.....

Just cause they have 50+ point buys doesn't mean that hey will get a spot in the game; in fact the gm is in the best choice to prefer the ones closer to the 25 point mark as it means they will fit better, and are neither gimped or op.

Edit: Miscalculated completely, original roll was 29, I'm dumb and it's late X.x

Claire Here, gonna roll up some numbers while I type up, Going with Knight of the Sepulcher antipally as a human. And Crime? Mass Murder of course~

Str 18 +2 Racial
Dex 1d10 + 7 ⇒ (6) + 7 = 13
Con1d10 + 7 ⇒ (4) + 7 = 11
Int 8
Wis 1d10 + 7 ⇒ (3) + 7 = 10
Cha1d10 + 7 ⇒ (9) + 7 = 16

Wow, look at those rolls, how very lucky of me to get all above 10's, and a 16 in charisma too. Con's a bit low, but then I guess I better not get hit. Gonna place my human bonuses towards Str for a solid 20. When in prison it's good to be able to kill with your bare hands if needed. By lvl 5 I can heal myself with my dark powers anyways.
