Thank you all! I enjoyed the collaboration!
GM Nowruz wrote: Each of you also receives the Explore, Report, Cooperate boon and the Prized Find boon on your Chronicle sheet. Well done!! Been so long, I don't even know what that means... OMG.
Thank you for the wonderful expedition, DM & Players!
We should stabilize them all... if we do not, we are not much better than they are.
Besides, if Norborger is ascended... we must respect that. And, lastly it speaks to our prowess if we restrain and deliver them to the authorities.
Kaliban kneels trying to figure out how to stabilize the enemy.
With the immediate area getting crowded, Kaliban takes advantage of the enemy's dazed state to move around the archer with palms open and unthreatening into position on the other side of the elf.
Double Move.

How do you get DC 18? ;-)
A LOT of optimization. Focuses on Charisma over Wisdom (pushed it to 18), then picked up Improved Channel feat for +2, and then Sacred Conduit for another +1. He's very at channeling, but not very good at much else! LOL. I don't play Clerics much, is default DC 10 or DC 11 for a Level 1 Cleric?
Do you round down or up for Cleric Level? I think it follows the general round down rule. Making it DC 17?
I'm just playing my first Cleric and they are a Herald Caller! And, Unchained Rogue multi-class... built in flanking buddies.
Kaliban hugs the wall as he advances to attack the duplicitous one...
atk, unarmed strike, non-lethal: 1d20 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 + 2 = 8
dmg, non-lethal: 1d6 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 + 1 = 4
Yeah, and there was that... LOL. Current AC 20.
Who are you? We merely seek knowledge.
Is the greatsword dude still prone & unconscious?
Looking upon the translucent divine barrier.
Ooo... Fancy!
AC 20.
With Malluma charging in, drawing the enemy to them wasn't happening. Kaliban advances and takes cover.
Double Move.
Malluma, step into the passage and out of the way!
Sorry folks, I'm better at reading living things...
More... bats?
Kaliban uses his darkvision to peer into the gloom before, stepping in.
Perception: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
I would think to use Sense Motive in that way, the DC would be at least equal to the expected skills' DCs or higher.
Hmm... Now, why would this be here?
Sense Motive, assuming humanoid +2: 1d20 + 7 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 7 + 2 = 19
I've been finding myself wanting to use Sense Motive to figure things like this out...
Sense Motive, why would someone place with chalkboard and chalk here? Their intent.
Of course it could backfire... They want us to pull the lever! Trap!!!
Almost using Sense Motive as common sense/logic.
Do we just go in order? Kaliban steps to the closest entry...
Kaliban starts at the other end...
Perception: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (18) + 1 = 19
It was a good thought, Sabah... not any less for our not having found anything.
Interesting name does it have meaning? We can talk as we move, let's go.
Kaliban seems ready to move.
Kaliban strikes out at the beetle on Jussa's side. If the creature falls, he steps to take its place.
atk, red beetle, Unarmed Strike: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 2 = 19
dmg: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7
The first attack 19 (vs AC 18) would have hit Kaliban... If you say he wouldn't have had his shield ready the 17 (vs AC 16) hits, as well.
You mean they are illusions? Kaliban's eyes go wide. Kaliban continues checking the perimeter of the structure, trying to discern what the gnome is up to.
Perception: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (13) + 1 = 14
Sense Motive, humanoid: 1d20 + 7 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 7 + 2 = 27
Kaliban thinks. Unless this is some... illusion, there must be another door? Shall we check the rear of the building?
A note to my fellow players, thanks for the healing!
Sometimes the play/posting continues and it feels like a post of "thanks" is a step back... so, I don't go back (in time) and disrupt continuity.
Gratefully yours, Kaliban
I suppose getting to a wizard of the Arcanamirium will be no easy task in itself...
Not like any coin I've seen... If that's all we're here for, let's close this back up and get moving.
Kaliban looks around, uneasy.
Yes, I understand this now... most might view you lackey or extortionist. But, no... You care the Keeper of the Gate and dispenser with your duties with diligence and zeal. A paragon, truly.
The Prince of Darkness, may be protect us, obviously works through you, my man.
I would not feel safe walking thru ground if it weren't for you vigilance and protection.
Diplomacy, humanoid, vanity/lip service: 1d20 + 3 + 2 + 5 ⇒ (7) + 3 + 2 + 5 = 17
Sense Motive, humanoid: 1d20 + 7 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 7 + 2 = 28
Looking for a little more, milking it?
Kaliban steps forward, Now we are coming to an understanding.
Reaching slowly into a belt pouch, he produces 3 gold coins, offering them.
1/cp, 2/sp, 3-10/gp: 3d10 ⇒ (8, 9, 4) = 21
Kaliban seems skeptical, but what's a rookie to do? I'm all a-twitter... what could possibly go wrong?
Audibly cracking-popping his neck, he rolls his shoulders and is ready to go.
I may have missed something... did he indicate where to go next?
Kaliban looks like he's in bad shape, but straightens up... Let's move on and get this over with.
Down to 4 of 12 HP, I think.
Jussa Pinehair wrote: Basically, I didn't get permission to splash my teammates, so I opted to avoid it. If Darzus is okay with 1 splash damage, then we can keep the full damage on the swarm. I think it's part of being in a combat situation, I don't mind... Judgement call.
There splash damage is fractional compared to the swarm damage.
No Pathfinder left behind!
Moved 20 feet (armor), taking Darzus with. I assume grabbing Darzus is Kaliban's Standard action.
Darzus wrote: Welp, that escalated quickly My thoughts exactly.
Sorry... I'm not at my desk any more. Can't move them from my phone.
I'm fine with someone moving us.
Kaliban reaches for Darzus and drags him out of the swarm. He's in bad shape... need help, here!
Fort Save, nauseated: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 10
Kaliban is overcome and instantly heaves... Blaghh...
GM Nowruz wrote: Just copy paste your paizo picture so that we know who’s who. ;-) Made a token, done!
Do we make our own icons/tokens? Happy to do so.
Good thinking, taking it slow. Now. we've got to deal with... this. Anyone see anything risky?
Perception, entry: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (17) + 1 = 18
So many bottle... I don't even drink.
Perception: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
I'm saving all the good die rolls for combat, should there be any.
:)
Perception: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
Convinced that he himself is woefully ignorant of current events and Pathfinder lore... Kaliban is relieved that it's time to move on and comes down to join Heryn and the others.
Sense Motive, twins: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 7 = 9
Kaliban, not feeling particularly social... moves up to the empty tables.
A vantage point from which, he keeps am eye on his teammates.
Down? Down where?
Kaliban looks up to the tables indicated and doesn't like it much.
Sense Motive, practical joke: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (12) + 6 = 18
Took one (from the dice powers that be) for the team! You guys should be good!
Diplomacy (gather info): 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5
Mmm... crusader. Interesting. Kaliban seems genuinely intrigued.
