Ha! That looks cool. I'll take a more detailed look when I get home.

Wow! This is getting intense!

I actually have almost completed a conversion of G-D-Q series into Pathfinder and Golarion world. Again, I don't think we can post those type of files on the boards though.

(on a side note: I am almost finished converting Queen of Spiders (G-D-Q) into an adventure path style document)

I second A Night Below and Razor Coast! Both superb.

Just finished a fiction piece that is waaaaaaay outside my norm. lol With all the talk over on the romance of the Inner Sea thread, I gave a shot at a little romance (very clean, respectful, PG rated) on the Rive Phoenix. The wife cried as she read it, so I think I hit the nail on the head with it--is this something that might be considered for content?

Ah! Thank you!

Been poking around in this lately with the release of the new episodes of Korra.

Something is brewing in here. I can smell it...

Look forward to seeing your material!

Speaking of the Lord of the Scarlet Tide, do you still hate mushrooms on your pizza?

Paris/Tim, I know it might be too early to answer this, but in general is there a type of submission you get more than you could ever need and some that don't get the love they should?

w0ot, looks amazing!

Wow! So much awesomeness! This helps make up for me being unable to go to PaizoCon! Thanks.

Congratz Mark!

Fixed, thank you sir!

I am so excited for this, I am stalling my players for the next few weeks at level 1 until I get this in my greedy hands.

Sounds cool!

Can I just send you my paypal account number and get an open line of credit? =) I'm very interested!

You rock pokepaul! Thanks for the catch! I debate a lot on if I should strive for pure accuracy vs. balance. Since this is by no means official and is conversion I feel ok sometimes if I fudge here and there in an attempt at balance.

Love the feedback, thanks. =)

w0ot, Thanks Scott! Hit on most of the points I was also thinking, but I set a goal to do 1 item every 2 weeks regardless if I am inspired or not. lol

Congratz to Scott!!!!!

Hey Human D! Thanks for the support. I hope that PC works out. The nymph, brownie, sprite and any such fey are typically pretty powerful and tend to draw players eye to them. Let me know any feedback you might have (over powered/under powered/typos/miscalculations)

In terms of Hero Lab - I tried for a bit, but I never really got the hang of the coding. Some of classes seem fairly easy to add into Hero Lab, but the fact that this is a class AND a race made it above my pay grade.

I know SeeleyOne had been trying a version of the vampire into Hero Lab, but not sure how far he got.

it will never, ever happen, goblins are best in small doses and a whole AP would kill that fun:)

Oooh, but a We Are Drow...that I'd buy a few copies of.

So this is the first thread I've read on this (or any) website that I have read from beginning to end in...eons. Literally...well in human terms anyway. Kudos of awesome to Zerzix for the work you've done on this! Since you're working on 'edits' I'll point out that your naturally awakened ape, dire ape, and bear still lack Language: Common

I found this thread on accident actually. Looking for other things and I got distracted (the interwebs are just so full of--shiny!). SO thanks. I'm working on writing a fanfiction of a game I played nearly ten years ago and thought I'd update (otherwise known as: she forgot most of the details of the game so she's gonna make a lot of it up lol). Question on the Half-Janni: would the half-janni's NON-janni parent simply be RP or "fluff"? I was trying to figure out a way (before this thread) to have a half elf and a half-janni. In the bygone game the characters father was a grey elf, and the mother was unknown *killed ala disney style*. IF it was more than simple fluff would it just be adding "elven immunities" like they did on the half elf to show it's elven parentage?

Hey Rouge!

Thanks for the kudos! (I love those) I also LOVE edits! Seriously, with a document of 182 pages - I sometimes feel that I can't see the forest for all the trees. So I ALWAYS welcome edits.

In terms of the half elf/half janni I'd do exactly as you said, with adding in the immune to magic sleep effects and gain a +2 racial saving throw bonus against enchantment spells and effects.

Maybe add in the elven ears and Elf Blood: Half-elf/Half Janni count as both elves and genies (outsider, native) for any effect related to race.

Not sure if this has been asked before, I apologize if it has, but

1. In your home campaigns if you have a TPK what do you normally do?
1a. Do you scrap the adventure and reboot a different one with new PC's at 1st level?
1b. Start with new PC's at same level they died?

2. If a PC's dies?
2a. Start PC's at same level as party/lower level/1st level?
2b. What do you do with dead PC's items? Allow party to have at it or have it buried with dead PC?

3. How does your party divvy up loot? Roll-off/ person picks and go round robin?

Can't wait to read the winner's entry!

Hi, I'm wondering if Gestalt for a party of five would be too much of a pain for the MM AP. I've been toying with the idea of it but I'm concerned it might be over bearing. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks.

My group has played gestalt with almost every AP. If you don't mind as a GM doing slight alterations to the encounters its not that much of a pain.

At lower levels the PC's tend to be slightly stronger (almost +2 CR's) then as they level it decreases. It makes the PC's live longer, ie...mages can have the fighter hp, fighters can have rogue reflex saves and evasion, so on.

My main issue with it tends to be at higher levels where the action at the table tends to slow down. Yes, a PC can only do one (or a few) action's per round, either act as the mage or the fighter at that moment, but as levels pile on the players have more and more choices, with some forgetting abilities or taking so much time to look through choices it gets to be a little much.

My normal rule if we use gestalt (because it can be a fun choice for flavor) is to say: 1 class can be whatever the player wants, but the other class to combined it with has to be out of the core rule book.

There are other benefits and additional downsides to gestalt, but its mainly what type of campaign you want. =) Any specific questions let me know.

I've been waiting years for something like this. Reading it gave me a number of character ideas, and the mechanics to play one I've been tinkering with.

One of the best books I've got this year.

Glad to hear that Lord Mhoram. I tried to write the book that I wished I'd had years ago.

Quick rules question. If a lycanthrope has Still Spell and Silent spell (and no material component), can he cast while in animal form. A Featherfall as second level spell for example. I see the ability to cast in the book as the ability to do it without raising the level of the spell.

And I immediately thought of a ranger/paladin who is a Lycanthrope wolf with a Hawk for animal companion.. and a thief as a cohort. :D

You'd need to take the Natural Spell feat as presented in modified form in the product, but, as you note, that does not raise the level of the spell.

Would you also need Eschew Materials? I wasn't sure if Natural Spell just took care of verbal and somatic?

LOVE this! My whole table of players are all excited when I busted this out at our last session. Needless to say we had some people remaking their PC's. Great product! =)

Jeremy Hart 363/RHMG Animator: Yep I am indeed am working on editing and doing major corrections for version 24. (Basically, I have learned sooo much more about the Pathfinder system mechanics since I have started this project - and have been doing freelance projects for 3pp, that I am slightly embarrassed to read through some of the earliest monster-to-level classes)

Hey Uhlar! I am glad you like it! Hopefully I can get more of this completed before you start your campaign (might not happen as I am working 3 other projects with deadlines at the moment) BUT...if you happen to get to it before I put out the next version, let me know and if I have those particular monsters edited properly I can send you the updates.

This is the latest version currently ====>v23

I so wish I had 50,000 to pledge, even if it were just to see Larry Elmore's cool cover!

3) Additionally, is Nocticula outright the most powerful of the demon lords and the closest to true divinity, or intended to be the most powerful of them? She's CR 30, sure, but so is, for example, Pazuzu, and mechanics don't always translate perfectly.

3) Nocticula is the 2nd most-powerful demon lord. Lamashtu is the 1st most powerful demon lord. Pazuzu is probably 3rd or maybe 4th.

HEY! What About ME!? I mean, um...what about Lascer? Lord of the Shadow Shoal!? Shouldn't I really be 3rd or 4th? lol And when am I getting an official Pathfinder entry?

Frankly, questions like that are really frustrating to me, in the same way a question like "Have you stopped beating your wife?" is annoying. It's a question you can't answer without making folks think you're admitting to something.

/me scratches out his next question: Have you stopped beating your developers/authors/contributors?

Actually, I had been wondering, I read about all the co-creators of Golarion, but who had and how long ago did the first inspiration for it come into existence?

Hi Marc,

You'll get my submission soon, but question...is there a word count limit? Did you want full write up of character stat block or just the outline of info, like this-

Character name:
Race:
Class/Level:
Physical Description:
Backstory:

I think you can also remove the tiefling, Oread, sylph, ifrit, undine, catfolk and ratfolk entries since they are in the ARG.

Yeah, I have debated that for awhile now and did indeed remove a lot of monster entries that are already covered. My only regret now is that if I do fully remove them all - what if a player doesn't realize that he could play goblin/ratfolk or such as an option? I guess in the end its redundant and doesn't really fit into this document, but then again do I want it to be an all inclusive monster playing guide or not?

Thanks guys! I've been going through each entry 1 at a time and cleaning them up, fixing errata issues and technical errors, level adjusting some spell like abilities and adding in flavor text. It might be awhile, but hoping to add in a few new monsters from new adventure paths and such soon.

James, as you create monsters do you ever sit and think to yourself, "when we cross the line to the boundless and hideous unknown—the shadow-haunted Outside—we must remember to leave our humanity and terrestrialism at the threshold..." ?
