Jaethal takes her shot.
attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (13) + 4 = 17
damage: 1d10 + 1 ⇒ (10) + 1 = 11

Surrounded by three opponents, Jaethal strikes at one of the wolves from the ground.

1d20 + 4 ⇒ (15) + 4 = 19
damage: 2d4 + 10 ⇒ (3, 2) + 10 = 15

She slices the wolf's side open, but fails to strike a fatal blow.

Jaethal, whether responding to Signy or just deciding on her own, moves over and attacks the second guard.

1d20 + 9 ⇒ (16) + 9 = 25
damage: 2d4 + 10 ⇒ (1, 2) + 10 = 13

"If the Stag Lord has become as much of a sot as that Kressle woman says, perhaps we could just poison the wine. I don't have anything strong enough to kill him, but it will at least make him much weaker and people lost in the bottle like him will drink the stuff even when it makes them sick."

Retcon for Signy

"I'm with you now, after turning on Tartuccio I have to be."

"As for what he's looking for, he never said anything specific. Some sort of ancient artifact. I got the feeling he is actually working for someone and is uninterested in the mission that Jamandi gave us."

Jaethal looks at Signy thoughtfully.

"Perhaps you are right. This gnome has proven to be not only insufferable, but also uninterested in actually pursuing the mission Lady Jamandi hired us for."

Turning to Tartuccio, "Tartuccio, consider this a termination of our agreement." Jaethal then immediately cuts down one of the guards between her and Tartuccio.

You see Jaethal is with him, but she does not look pleased.

"Hold your tongue, gnome, I can barely make your twaddle from the buzzing of a fly."

As people disperse, Jaethal responds to Kern. "I do not expect combat skills from the gnome, just good judgement. I worry, that certain members of your group do not have what it takes to make the tough decisions. Also, as a follower of Urgathoa, I think my presence would strain things with your group."

"I'll also go with Tartuccio. He appears to have the right mentality for getting the job done, less spiritual agonizing over what's "right." He is definitely more pragmatic."

"I too will go with Tartuccio, he appears to have the right mentality as regards getting the job done and he won't waste time with spiritual agonizing over what's "right". He is definitely more pragmatic."

A tall elven woman speaks uu, she has dark look to her and something seems off about her appearance, "Why do you not just recognize this Stag Lord as a baron? He already holds power over the region with confidence. Many noble houses were started by bandits who just got lucky, weren't they?"
