Greetings,
1x Pathfinder Battles—Rise of the Runelords: Lamia Matriarch, $5.95
I managed to pick them up at my FLCS. Thanks!
I'm on a quest for one replacement character for an active Rise of the Runelords campaign. The adventure is just beginning so you'll be getting in while the party is still bonding. Good role play and being a team player are of highest importance. NOTE: Each member of this group posts on average once a day about six days a week. It’s not uncommon for an occasional second daily post or a comment in the discussion thread. Please be sure you are comfortable I'm specifically looking for someone to take up the mantle of a solid melee warrior.
Character guidelines:
The anniversary edition RotRL players guide has a lot of good hooks and traits to bond the party members to Sandpoint and perhaps each other. Please incorporate one of these or create your own as you see fit. What I like to see:
Here a link to the game. Please check that the style and speed of the posts fit into your gaming style. It will also give you a good idea for the other characters playing in the game.
I ran across this image of a goblin standing over a dead dog. Looks like it's from RotRL burnt offerings, but it does not seem to be in any book I own. Anyone recognize what source book it's from?
Help me Paizo community. Your my only hope. (along with a good therapist :-)
The 23rd day of the month of Rova.
For five years, the faithful of Sandpoint have attended church in temporary structures erected after fire destroyed the previous temple, and while their new religious leader was helpful, kind, and wise, church wasn’t the same. Now, the new cathedral is finally done. All that remains is for the Swallowtail Festival to renew the site’s blessings from the gods and it will be as if the Sandpoint Fire had never occurred. The square before the church is quickly becoming crowded as locals and travelers arrive, and several merchant tents featuring food, clothes, local crafts, and souvenirs are there to meet you. For those newly arrived to the town, E'Terah, Masao and Alaren, this is a grand site indeed. The entirety of the town is on hand, and the festive mood rides the air like a bird in flight. Even those with familiar ties and roots to sandpoint can see the effect of the celebration. Haley Kindel observes that even the Sczarni, know for mischief and mayhem on the best of days, seem to be keeping their hands in their own pockets this morning. As Dairkal makes his way to the square, a small group of children wave excitedly and ask if will be juggling later in the afternoon. Weaving their hands in the air and giggling as they do so. In but a few short minutes the welcoming speeches will begin. Once that formality is over, the festival will officially commence. Time to claim you vantage point (or not) to hear the speaches . . .
Welcome to the discussion thread. Monkeygod wrote:
Hmmmm. Interesting. Let me put some thought into that. At first glance it seems like it could have some fun potential for a text and story heavy PbP game. More so than a faster paced RL game.
Welcome adventurers! I am recruiting five adventuring types seeking to shed their mundane life in Sandpoint for the heroes journey known as Rise of the Runelords.
Four other spots are open. Character guidelines:

On PbP specific rules. I generally keep close to the core rules on gameplay. Some items I find speed up a PbP game, like having the GM roll initiative and create and average for the Pc’s and creatures can save an entire day (or more) of posting. Enough rambling by me!
Hey CS, I loaded up on sale items today, so can I please have the following pre-exsisting two items removed from my sidecart. 1x Pathfinder Adventure Path #32: Rivers Run Red (Kingmaker 2 of 6) (PFRPG) Print Edition
I used them to breach the $100 shipping bonus, but the sale took care of that.
Thanks! Iron-Dice
We have an existing group that has lost it's Dwarf Cleric and are looking a fresh face to fill that spot. You can step into the existing PC or create a new one of your own personality and style. Background; We're playing as "Pathfinders" using the pathfinder society scenarios. However, this is an ongoing campaign so were NOT using the PFS specific rules or reporting the games. Were just finishing up "First Steps part one", so it's a great time to join in. Check out the game thread here:
Why a Dwarf? Why a Cleric?
While perusing items not yet on my shelves, I love having the "You purchased this product XXX XX, 20XX" to jog my memory and guide my purchasing. Yesterday I noticed Items from my purchase of a somewhat recent "Second Darkness Super Bundle" are not individually labeled as purchased. I assume it's because the bundle is considered as a single product in your system, however, I ask you to consider a way to break that out to the individual products, or allow the users to manually mark items that have been purchased themselves. The feature is a nice time saver from having to reference back and forth from one's collection when looking to fill in missing items.
My RSS feeds have been weird for a few days.
Is this a new bug or a deliberate function of the Paizo site? -Iron Dice
I was excited about Mac OSX 10.7.2 release today thinking it would fix the freeze/spinning ball of death/force quit issue that cropped up with Lion and Paizo PDF's. No love on my MacPro. Anyone else have better luck? I'm guessing no. If anyone has found a workaround that works stabilizes preview, please share. Adobe reader works, but it's cumbersome.

First Strps, Part I
The following is background information you would have been taught, or learned through observation, during you induction. Basic Training:
Pathfinders explore Golarion in service to lore. This widespread group of treasure hunters, thrill- seekers, sages, and voyagers make it their lives’ work to uncover lost artifacts, map neglected ruins, and learn forgotten knowledge. They do these things for the sake of lore, as well as for fame. The Pathfinder Society publishes the Pathfinder Chronicles, a multi-volume series of chapbooks highlighting some of the most amazing finds by field agents.
Pathfinders are part archaeologist, part historian, and all adventurer. Many established Pathfinders make their own way in the world, following their interests or tracking down leads to greater mysteries. These established few are still subject to orders from their superiors, but the least prestigious tasks are usually reserved for those new to the organization. The Society is governed by the Decemvirate, 10 anonymous leaders who pull strings and guide the organization from Skyreach in the Grand Lodge of Absalom. They hand down orders from their secret posts to venture-captains, who in turn pass the orders to field agents. Pathfinders Duties:
The Society has few rules, but all Pathfinders are expected to perform the Three Duties: explore, report, and cooperate. Idle Pathfinders are useless to the organization, and agents must seek out secrets or further their work in exploration of some kind, always growing and gathering knowledge. This exploration would be worthless if not for frequent reports. Pathfinders must send back accounts of their adventures, many of which end up published by the Decemvirate. Finally, Pathfinders are great heroes from dozens of countries and backgrounds with thousands of different motivations and allegiances, and the Decemvirate expects that individual Pathfinders will not interfere with one another, and absolutely never let a conflict between themselves come to blows. The Real World:
Despite the mandate to cooperate, Pathfinders have myriad motivations and often fall in with similarly minded factions within the organization, or external groups with close ties to the Society. About Venture-Captain Ambrus Valsin:
As fresh new recruits, most Pathfinders know only the venture-captains who give them their training, especially Ambrus Valsin, the man in charge of daily operations in the Grand Lodge. A gruff, no-nonsense man, Ambrus has little tolerance for laziness and often gives young Pathfinders their first taste of what being a field agent entails as a way of keeping them from staying idle too long.
Other Factions:
Among the various factions allied with the Pathfinder Society are five powerful nations locked in a shadow war for control of Absalom—Andoran, Cheliax, Osirion, Qadira, and Taldor. While the Pathfinder Society has no direct interest in this political standstill, they nevertheless have much to gain from allying with these powerful nations. Though they aren’t a recognized political body, the Varisian swindlers and smugglers known as the Sczarni provide their own support for the Society, acting as fences, contacts, or mules when the organization needs to get relics or agents in and out of hostile territory unseen. Within the Society itself, fractured groups such as the Shadow Lodge, Silver Crusade, and the Lantern Lodge each work to ensure the organization’s resources are applied where they feel they’re most needed, be that for the betterment of the active field agent, in distant Tian Xia, or spreading good deeds throughout the Inner Sea. You have all been summoned by personal invitation to join the chamberlain in his private office at first light. As each of you arrive you are welcomed by a curt nod from Valsin *image*. and motioned to a simple table with fruits, pastries, breakfast meats and beverages. You know from his demeanor that he expects each of you introduce your selves so his time is not spent on such apropos.
Welcome adventurers! I am recruiting for two or three adventuring types to round out a group of Pathfinders seeking adventure, fame and fortune. The game will be an ongoing episodic style based on Pathfinder Society adventures and Paizo modules going from 1st level to as far as we can go. The party will total five PC's.
What is the adventure?:
We will be starting with the Pathfinder Society introductory adventure "First Steps". From there the group will take on other PFS modules as well as published Paizo PF modules.
The concept is to create an episodic feel using the same cast as well as reoccurring theme, villains and friends. The Pathfinder society adventures seem well suited for the pace of PbP online games. It's a standard ongoing game using PFS adventures as modules only. Are we Pathfinders? :
You start out that way. It's up to the group if you stay associated with, become opposed to, or play both sides in regards to the Pathfinders. Character guidelines: :
• 15 point buy
• Med exp. advancement • Core races and class's are preferred. • Player Companion books are great! Especially the race books. • Inner sea guide is great also. • Adventures armory is in play. • APG should be alright, although I'd need to look over things first. • You will be playing as and interacting with Pathfinder Society characters (NOTE we are not using PFS sanctioned rules or reporting.) • PFS Factions will not be selected (if at all) until after the 1st adventure. • No ultimate guides at this time. Looking for players that post once a day. More on occasion is always welcome.
Here's the setup: In the great city of Absolom, near the training grounds of the Pathfinder Society. Wanted. Elite Pathfinders Adventuring Company. Venture-Captain Ambrus Valsin is assembling a team of newly trained Pathfinder recruits. He's looking to create a self sufficient company to take on difficult missions that only a team familiar with each others skills, and faults, could accomplish. He's interviewed and assembled two strong members. He still seeks three individuals that can work as a team, and yet make split second decisions on their own. There will be no military ranks in this company. Everyone is on equal footing. He's looking for diverse individuals to complement the Human Fighter; Robertus Toreador, and Elf Ranger; Aryllan Lanliss he has already selected.
VISITORS NOTE; This is not a recruitment thread
Welcome Adventurers, The gate way to fame and fortune awaits! You three are brave souls with wanderlust in your veins. Meeting together by chance, you decide to start an "Adventuring Company" combining your skills and talents. Here you will pool your resources. You will also outline your weaknesses, as you are aware of the need to recruit two more allies to buff up your abilities. Two quests are already waiting to be plucked. One or more of you may be from the city of Absalom, or have a connection or aspiration to join the Pathfinder Society. There's a great opportunity awaiting there . . . One or more of you may also be associated with the clerics of Pharasma or from the area near Kaer Maga. There's some of trouble with undead in the Undercity of that region. A good adventuring company is being sought to help curtail the area's woes. Of course, none of you may be associated with the area's at all. The only real fact at the moment is that you all know about these opportunities. And now, it's time to learn about each other . . . Use this tread to figure out the various character class, race etc for each member. It's not an in-character area. That comes next when dealing with the recruits.
With all the excitement about the PF wizkids mini line, I remembered the "D&D Miniatures—Dragon Collector's Set" I had pre-ordered. Since I have subscribed, or upgraded, to the new mini line and ordered the black dragon, the WotC mini's are not so appealing, and those funds are better served on other Paizo products. Can you please remove my pre-order of the "D&D Miniatures—Dragon Collector's Set" from my sidecart if that is possible. Thank you.
I noticed the gold campaign coins have been on backorder for a while, but now they are completely removed from the website.
Is Paizo planing on receiving a re-stock on these items? I tried contacting the Australian dealer of these items but they are not responding.
Order # 1741651
I added some items to my side cart this morning. No issue.
Can that please be moved to my side cart for the next monthly shipment along with all the other items please. Thank you.

Alright you stanky Goblins. Stand in the center of the "stage", a loose circle of rocks on muddy ground (let's hope it's mud!), surrounded by burning brazers of dog skulls, further surrounded by your entire tribe looking on. Drooling with anticipation. Chief Gutwad and Slorb stand upon the fallen tree to see over the crown. Slorb says in his oily voice, Now, each 'o youz gobers will go in one-zes to da center and introduce-e you selfz to the clan as heroes. Den' youz do the best gob dance youz gotz. Da winner get's dis feather to be bestest dancer. Slorb hols up a ragged old crows feather. Gutwad looks on with a pleased (for him) expression. After introducing yourselves, describe your best dance moves. You can use any skill or skills for the dance. Roll three skill checks that match each movement.
I just picked up the new pathfinder Freeport companion and love it.
