Iggy follows the bellowing. "What are you going on about, Eadie?" His eyes shift from the fighter to the mirror she seems to be talking to.

"At any rate, we should get that mirror back to the Lodge, I'm sure it will prove to be a useful acquisition."

Ignatius breaks out his heretofore unused healing wand and mostly patches himself up. As he puts his wand back, he takes a look around the room. "Well now, I thought I had been hit much harder than I was. Seems I almost imagined myself falling down one of Master Ernest's frightful pits!"

As the others rummage through the bedroom, Iggy takes the surviving gnoll's things, "For safekeeping."

As Eadie opens up the secret door, the inquisitor's interest is piqued. "Well now, what's back there, eh?"

Iggy draws upon an inner resolve to keep himself steady on his feet after being smacked very hard by Chau. He cries out, [b]"Heal me, Iomedae, as I place a judgement on this one's head.

Swift action to make a Judgement of healing. Iggy gets fast healing 2.

He then keeps his distance from both the pit and from Chau, calling down a spiritual weapon in the guise of a spectral longsword to attack the gnoll.

Ignatius, caught unaware by Chau's ferocious attacks, falls prone as he is knocked unconscious.
At -1 hp

Though lying in a bloody heap on the floor, Iggy's wound seems to be stabilizing.

So, it looks like I've ended my turn at the edge of the pit. Since I am unconscious, can I even make a Reflex Save? I'm at work and not able to look up the particulars. I will roll the save with my standard Reflex bonus and please apply whatever modifiers are appropriate.

Seeing the problem that Chau is causing Eadie and Lore, Ignatius rushes around to engage with her. Taking a quick moment of concentration to imbue his weapon with a bane against this gnoll, Ignatius then strikes. "May Iomedae cleanse this world of your filth!"

Ignatius calls upon Iomedae to bless his sword to make it much more awesome. The sword hums with a power hitherto unknown to the simple inquisitor. He then makes his way across the room towards August and the hyena.

Ignatius looks at Eadie's helmeted face and points to his ear while nodding.

Yep, I heard them too.

He then holds his hand up, palm forward at Eadie, with a slight frown on his face. He quickly moves back down the corridor, calls quietly upon Iomedae to protect him from evil, and then returns to Eadie's side.

With a sheepish look, Ignatius gives everyone a quick nod to indicate he is ready.

He draws his sword.

Ignatius quickly dons his armor, shield and his backpack with his supplies.

He uses Eadie's wand to perform her healing and offers his own for use as well. "If anyone else needs healing, please allow me to help."

"Gima, you shouldn't have to lead all these slaves by yourself." He looks around at the others, "Perhaps... after we find this mirror, we can help guide the slaves to safety?" He turns back to Gima, "Do you think you can wait for us to return?"

Hey, sorry. I've been travelling all day and then got sucked into watching that Scientology documentary on HBO.

Ignatius, seeing that things have now started to get violent, again curses himself for not hiding his holy symbol of Iomedae. Left without a weapon, armor or a means of reaching out to Iomedae in any meaningful way he decides that he must improvise.

"Freedom!" He shouts, in an effort to confuse things. He then breaks off a leg from one of the beds and rushes to Eadie's side.

Ignatius silently walks to the far end of the room, keeping his distance from the overseer. He curses himself for not hiding his holy symbol as carefully as he should have.

As he stands against the wall, he feels it with his hand, the cool stone a small relief from the oppressive heat of their march.

As Ernest and Eadie engage in conversation with Korshad, Ignatius watches the overseer with care, trying to determine the man's general attitude.

Ignatius endures the long, hot forced march with stoic steadiness. She replies to Eadie's inquiries about his mother with frankness. "Oh I saw my mother often - at meals, when being disciplined and the like. She wasn't what one would call a nurturing mother - at least not in the traditional sense. As you ascertain, I did indeed receive most of my care and early tutelage from various wet-nurses, governesses and even porters. The Van Hjorder household lacked none of the material goods that make a life of ease for it's members."

A single tear runs slowly down the inquisitor's cheek as he recounts his youth.

Seeing the gnolls stand up and take an interest in Eadie and Gima, Ignatius stands up and tries to help Eadie calm the woman down.

"There there... things will be alright. Iomedae has a plan for us all. Please, sit...and rest. Our masters will be displeased if we wear ourselves out..."

Ignatius allows others to take the shadiest spots to sit and rest, such as they are. He wipes the sweat from his brow and kicks at the dirt and starts looking around at the other slaves and the gnolls.

Ignatius allows himself to be ordered around. He does whatever Lore, August or the other slavemasters ask of him. Upon overhearing Eadie's conversation with Epanas, the inquisitor shakes his head softly. 'The woman is too bold! She'll show our hand for sure!'

Ignatius keeps to himself, trying to slouch and look as pitiful as possible to pass as a slave. With his holy symbol around his neck, he simply prays to Iomedae for protection, a bit afraid of what this endeavor may have in store for him and his "slave" companions.

The inquisitor then excuses himself to change into grubby slave clothes, placing his gear in the magical mystery box.
