GM Aarvid
Hello and welcome! I will be traveling this weekend and next week, so posting may be slow for a bit starting out.
Before we start, please post the following:
PFS #
Day Job roll
Initiative
Perception
GM Aarvid
I think all of you have played in my games before, a couple reminders once we are underway:
1) Please keep HP and AC status updated in your profile tag
2) I will roll group init and track actions in order. If you want to post ahead, feel free. I may move you back or allow you to change your action if someone else goes before you and alters the playing field (blocks a charge lane, is injured, creates a pit, drops your target etc)
3) Miss is always low (1-20 or 1-50) on [1d100] if miss chance applies
4) If you want to try something a little off base...ask me. Sometimes the odd actions are the most memorable. (This one should not be a problem with this group) :-)
5) I use google maps (which works great at home, but not so much from my I-pad on the road, so I may ask for help updating).

Whatever can he mean? ;)
Hi all! Eadie is ready to rumble.
PFS # 69095-3
No Day Job

[dice=Eadie Perception] 1d20+12 [/dice ]

Tough choice. I like both characters, Tektite. Baz is SC so would get the extra goodies, but I do like Joh’s personality and his buffs in addition to his excellent ranged attacks are always welcome …
Play who you want to, buddy.

Hmm, I don't have any Silver Crusaders in the tier. Looks like it'll be the Iggy show of incompetence again.
Ignatius Van Hjorder
PFS#: 64554-9
No Day Job
Initiative: +4
Perception: +9
Also, GM: Iggy has the following ability:
Seize the Initiative (Su) (5/day): Whenever you and your allies roll for initiative, you can grant one ally within 30 feet the ability to roll twice and take either result. This decision is made before results are revealed. You can use this ability a number of times per day equal to 3 + your Wisdom modifier.
So, an ally gets to roll initiative twice and take the higher result. So, who wants to get this bonus?

I hath been summoned; many characters for that subtier; I'll compile a list in a few moments. I'm pondering my First World Summoner, as Mitemania hasn't gone wild recently, though I'll play to fill. I will have to recomb over sheets once one is picked, bit here's the general basis.
- Kris: Short-sighted Bones Oracle, Bad Touch build, likes to curse people, sassy, pretends to be blind.
- Sen: Hell, I've played up with him in nearly every game, may as well list him. Built to throw as many shuriken as possible, names his bigger attacks to impress women (spoiler: it hasn't worked), wears no armor because it will cover up his "hot bod." Inspired by The Situation, personality-wise.
- Tsusuko: Don't pick him. White-Haired Witch is trash. Fun character, just useless.
- Xathalial: Zen Archer. Much serious, very arrow, many elf, wow.
- Corb: 23 + 8 = 31 Strength after mutagen and rage. 2-Handed Fighter for double Str mod on first attack with 2h. Likes to fight & yell, can't whisper. Praise Gorum.
- Ernest: Conjurist/Pathfinder Field Agent (the prestige class), but not the summoner kind. Makes holes in the ground (both magically and mundanely), has Trapfinding, is also a nerd. MIA in a personal-level subplot, but definitely playable. Have to update his sheets.
- Turg: Gnome First World Summoner, summons Mites and orders them around. Huge jerk.

Eadie! Eadie! Is this where we're su'posed ta be?
I'm greedy, I'll take two init rolls if no one else does.
PFS # 79644-4
Faction : Grand Lodge
Profession (Soldier) Day Job: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8
I need to update my header as August is 5th now.
Eadie Navhelan

First off ... yay! Tektite picked Joh!
I was hoping Ernest or Corb for Burglar. The Ernest and Snouts double act is always so much fun. Then again, Lore and Eadie met Corb at the Frothing Alembic and he certainly made an impression.
Maybe Ernest by a long snout? But I'd be wrapt with Corb as well.
Oh, and I'm fine with August getting the second initiative roll.

Given that we have a 2h Fighter already and Luisila's half-vote, (barring any major objections) I'm going to dig through all the gm credits Ernest is probably sitting on and get everything kosher. Looks like we lack Knowledges, Arcane, and traps anyways. Plus Turg was 9th anyways and I thought this was a 5-9 for some reason.

If you could remove my main profile "mechaedd" from the active characters list, I'd be grateful.

I was told to shoot for high-tier, so I think so? Ernest is now Character level 7 as of applying the last two chronicles he's been on.
That said, more recent GMs: I know it used to be "Your GM Credit gets low tier if they are between tiers" was always the standard. Is this still true in this day where Out-of-tier gold exists? I am finished leveling aside from that, though my purchases will differ based on the answer to the gold question.
GM Aarvid
If this is the party, then it looks like we are high tier...
4-August
6-Eadie
7-Ernest
5-Ignatius
7-Johender
6-Lore
--------
35 / 6 = 5.83 yep, is high tier for certain.
That is how we will roll. :-)
And I am not sure on the GM gold question. I will leave that to one of the experts.
Johendar Celestrum
|
Johender is only level 6.
As far as I understand it, your GM cred. gets OoT gold.
Edit: Found it in the Guide.
Should a GM receive a Chronicle sheet that indicates her character is between subtiers (for example, if she runs a Tier 1–5 scenario but gives a 3rd-level character the Chronicle sheet), she must always receive the Out-of-Subtier gold value. This rule is meant to balance the fact that the GM’s character doesn’t have to expend any resources or risk death while gaining a Chronicle sheet for running a scenario.

August is actually 5, I'll try to update him today/tonight.

Sweet; I'll get Ernest's gear finished up later, maybe over lunch. Thursdays are my local game day.

Last minute purchase for Iggy:
headband of vast intelligence +2 (Knowledge: Local) - 4000 gp

Perceptions listed are for Ernest and Professor Snouts (who DOES ferry spells sometimes. He saved a half-orc once with Infernal Healing, because 1-round cast times are suck. Coincidentally, that was during that whole, uh, Dalsine Affair that the Pasha is known for.
- PFS #22357-15
- Day Job roll: Craft (Traps) +2 on day jobs: 1d20 + 22 + 2 ⇒ (12) + 22 + 2 = 36
- Initiative (E/PS) +0/+1
- Perception (E/PS) +14 (+1 vs traps, +2 if within arms reach of pig)/+11

Driving most of today so posting will be delayed.
Enjoy your favorite Pi as a distraction. :-)
Eadie Navhelan

I will definitely be playing and reading some pi-zo products.
GM Aarvid
Also, I forgot to ask, if any of you have factions differing from the icon next to your portrait, let me know.

If this weren't such a stealth-oriented scenario, I'd be seriously tempted to buy a Tiny lance and set of Tiny False Armour for Joh's familiar to wield while riding Snouts. Even if only for a bad Tiny DLancer joke.
GM Aarvid
Sorry for the long posts (I rarely say that) but your group takes in a lot of scenery as you enter the fort.
GM Aarvid
With Paizo being down last night I missed my normal window to post. I will update later tonight and get us back on track.
Also, with the holiday week, I may have limited posts this weekend.

"Haarrrrh!"
(22+23)+20 (assuming that +2 STR belt etc not included) primary confirmed, just barely
Yes, all the numbers above are calculated with a STR=17. Attack +12/+7 (-2 PA) for dmg 2d4+4+6+4
@ STR=19: Attack +13/+8 (-2 PA) for dmg 2d4+6+6+4
Am I the only one confused by the gnoll’s names? Especially Hargur (the leader?) and Vangru (the follower?) It probably doesn’t help that they have the same weapons.

My home internet went down due to a brief power outage in our area. Hopeful service will be restored by morning.

Just a quick update on my status:
My father in law is having triple bypass surgery on Tuesday. I will be on the road traveling on Monday, at the hospital on Tues. and perhaps home by Thurs or Fri. depending on his recovery. During that time, I will be posting but times and frequency may be weird or spotty. My apologies in advance.
GM Aarvid
Please let me know if any of you have played any of the following scenarios with *this* character:
#3–24: Storming the Diamond Gate
#4–09: The Blakros Matrimony
#5–25: Vengeance at Sundered Crag
Lorelendral Teklet

I haven't played any of them with any character
Professor Snouts Oinkerton
|
1: Weiman
2: Amira
3: Weiman
So none on this character, but I did play The Dalsine Affair with Ernest, so I can confirm/deny Pasha, facially. Especially if she's cutting someone's head off.
Nothing but some tangential references with the family I think you're asking about, though.

They must have changed something with the Drive site code, because I can now access the Comments section without crashing out the page (which I like for little notes that I don't want to waste the excitement of a whole new post on, like pointless familiar placement.) Lemme know if it's futile to use those and I'll avoid using them for more statistical purposes.
GM Aarvid
Let me know if the password guessing is holding up the show. I wanted sufficient time for a diplomatic solution, but will move on if you all agree.

Only two? Piggy, I am disappointed.
