Trying to remember if I missed an update to my character sheet...only have him at level 4 so wouldn't a full progression get me to level 5...haven't played any other mission other than the spire with this guy so might have missed something.

Or is it a case that later levels a full progression here would put me out of the range?

Grinning to see the undine come back his way and not having to chase her down Hovok takes a swing at the shape.

Afterwards finally getting himself settled Hovok swims towards the undine and takes a second swing as soon as he gets in range.

Surprised that the battle hasn't moved too far down the hallway. Hovok moves slightly to the side before taking his own swing at the new elemental.

Finally reorienting himself Hovok breaks the plane of the water and draws a deep breathe before attempting to swim in the direction he hears a significant amount of splashing.

Though apparently that was too much to hope for before he sinks back under the surface of the water.

Of course I would get the full plate right before a water level................shesh...welp maybe next round I will actually be able to do something other than flail in place.

Seeing the eidolon lose consciousness. Hovok attempts to swim forward so he can take a swing at the undine that started this whole mess.

Sadly before he can even bring the hammer to bear he has to reorient himself and close the distance.

Surfacing Hovok takes a moment to unstrap his shield as he regains his bearings. Turning back around he adjusts his grip on the longhammer and takes a full swing at the eidolon.

Leaving the hammer where it was Hovok attempts to swim beneath the surface and gain a little distance before reentering the fight.

Attempting a withdrawal action and if possible will either drop shield or draw my longhammer...figure I will have to do the other before I attack but would prefer to go latter then former so I keep the AC.

Sorry need some clarity before determining my action in this case.
Is the hammer in reach currently or would that require a swim/perception check to reach. Next since I am underwater could I move away without prompting an AoO from the eidolon...sadly only had the warhammer for one-handed weaponry so would need to be able to gain some distance to attack again.

Attempting to move into the room and approach the sharkbot. Hovok appears to struggle swimming with the shield attached going under the water briefly before redoubling his efforts and then swims into range but doesn't have the breathe yet to launch an attack yet.

Why does this keep repeating...Almost want to go back and make that Undine shut off these water holes...figure they have them open as part of their research.

Shaking his head at his inability to drive the creature back during the fight. Hovok thanks Jafit and Lucifer for the healing and his good shooting, before following the Wayang.

Also, with how many ambushes there have been so far Hovok stows his longhammer and draws his shield and warhammer in preparation for the next fight.

Starting to feel the blood-loss, Hovok shows a little of the legendary stubborness of the dwarfs and rushes the fish once again.

If some room is generated Hovok will attempt to move in a diagonal to get in range of Jafit.

Infuriated that a fish held its ground against him and unwilling to try fighting the thing weaponless. Hovok roars a battlecry before launching himself into the fish again.

If I still have a move action and drive the fish back. Hovok will not follow and sheathe his longhammer in preparation of drawing his warhammer next round.

Surprised by the fish/elemental attacking him and without enough room to take any swings of his hammer. Hovok instead attempts to body the creature back into the middle of the room to give the rest of the group room to maneuver.

Only using the modifiers for foehammer with hammer to bull rush and the other +2 I get from improved bull rush feat. Wasnt sure if I could apply my racial trait since the creature is swimming and not on the ground. If the water makes this maneuver impossible will have to try to figure out a way to get my warhammer out instead of my longhammer.

Still being the taciturn dwarf and catching his breath, Hovok remembers back to the first fight.

Hmm...lets hope that isn't the creature that got away...or that the other Undine we struck down wasn't her brother.

Helping the others as they come through the "doorway." Hovok turns back and watches the Undine carefully just supplying his name and letting the rest of the group converse and hopefully find a way to stop the water from attempting to drown them again.

Having gotten no where when he tried to follow the rest of the group Hovok turns back and follows Orovan...lending his strength to try to open the door also.

Able to brace himself against the initial rush of water Hovok then starts swimming furiously against the current hoping that him companions dont get swept too far away.

Seeing another portal in front of them.

Oh...Kay...Jafit...Neilman...we need to close this portal and backtrack to close the other...I'm not going to be fighting unarmored but I also wont be able to fight in this damn water if we dont do something to lower the level...So any ideas?

breaking the bloody thing would help here but the goal is to go lower...unless one of the casters can close that portal guess we need to leave the dam in place.

Completing his thought to himself; he then grabs the rope looks around for either a place to anchor it himself or continues to hold it waiting for the rest of the group to make their way across or for Lucifer to come back.

Waiting to see if Lucifer can get to the other side and wondering if it is worth attempting to cross in his full plate. Along with his mind tracking back to the portal and the dam.

Starting to think it maybe worth attempting to lower the water level by closing that portal and busting up the dam...Was 'oping that there was somewhere dry to make our way around but doesn't seem that is in the cards.

Not sure what I won...lol but then again starting to feel like this hammer is a little crazy as long as I can keep a little range to get an adequate swing in, and it isn't even enchanted yet.

Agreed Orovan felt like I heard the fight going on for way too long...but then again part of the problem is the damn water.

Looking back towards the makeshift dam.

I feel like if we break apart that debris the water level will lower significantly...just need a way to do that without the water carrying someone with it...or do you think we can close this portal now that the elemental is gone?
