I wish I got the respect and wisdom. I wonder can we return the aging feature? Big birthday coming up next month ... at least for me. Half-Century on this planet of ours.

Mark I am sorry about your friend that is very sad.
I think we are in for a tough winter ... but there is a silver lining and I do think the vaccines are on the way so I feel like the late spring early summer we will be in good shape. We will just have to be here for one another to help us all get through this tough time now,

Picked up a bottle of Grangestone Port cask ... not a big fan of it though. I was hoping to try something new and good ... this was not it.
I usually like port cask scotches though so slightly disappointed.
But did try High West Bourbon and that was pretty good.

Kirth I got a bottle of Sagamore and I do enjoy it. Nice change of pace from the Calumet. I was getting in a rut of drinking through one bottle at a time ... but I think I like switching it up more.
Been making Manhattan's might start with some Rob Roy's as well with some scotch blends I don't normally drink.

Freehold DM wrote: The Nasty Orc wrote: Ah the whole pizza argument ... I know you are likely to not be happy with me about this Freehold but I need to say it. I like the bar room pizza you get in Massachusetts I know it is likely to be sacrilegious for saying so but there it is Gruumash's dirty little secret. One of my favorites is Cape Cod Pizza in Brockton. I have no problem with people liking pizza from their home town. I am all for it. It's just that pizza here is better. It's all the John Gotti baked into every pie, as notes above. Ha ha spoken like a true New Yorker ... I know I won't win this argument so I will leave it there. Good to chat with you Freehold it has been too long.

Scint death of youth is always a tough blow. Chances are also that these sort of things may not hit you right away.
Best advice I can give is to let it play out for yourself and don't expect that you should feel a certain way or that you should be over it within a certain amount of time. Sometimes people are best continuing with their regular schedule sometimes not. Anyways happy to listen if you need to talk.

I do love me a Manhattan as well as cognac drinks too. I really love cocktails over all.
Rum drinks are a favorite of mine too. Been drinking me some hemingway daiquiri's grapefruit juice, lime Luxardo liquor and rum) Very tasty none of the sugar in the normal daiquiri.
I also have been making punches festive season and all with a combination of rum, cognac, cachaca, lemon and lime juice pineapple macerated and green tea finished with champagne though Processco works well.)
