Hey all,
Just wanted to apologize for the lack of my usual novel-length posts. (Or say 'your welcome' to those who are tired of reading my novel-length posts?) ;P
I'm just feeling a bit o'erwhelmed recently, with work and crazy covid-scares on campus, and no breaks because they shortened our semester to be DONE by Thanksgiving!
(Yes, the University I work for will be done with finals on Thanksgiving eve) :P
On the PLUS side, the students get a month and a half off! >_<
I'm still here, I'm still interested, just,... not able to mentally keep up my usual frantic posting speed in all my PbP's lately.
Sincere apologies, and to anyone else who is feeling the same, May we ALL recover quickly! :)

Been a bit under the hammer myself. Getting caught up now.
Unfortunately, with wave 2 coming, recovery will be a while I fear. Found out a friend of the family for over 30yrs. went to the doctor last week with Covid 19 symptoms, hospitalized Monday, died yesterday.
Only about 2 years older than me with a 16yr old daughter.

Mark I am sorry about your friend that is very sad.
I think we are in for a tough winter ... but there is a silver lining and I do think the vaccines are on the way so I feel like the late spring early summer we will be in good shape. We will just have to be here for one another to help us all get through this tough time now,

I think this is closer to phase 3 if not 4. :P
Vaccines are wonderful, but I agree with Gruumash. Friends, (even 'casual, online' friends) can be here for each other at this time. That will help a lot.
I've already lost count of the close calls my family has had with catching covid this year.

So, we have been VERY lucky so far. Always tested, always negative. But I am getting very tense and tired of the close calls. O_o

We are doing better ... just got through a three week stint of being quarantined my daughter grandson and granddaughter all tested positive who live in our house ... but fortunate they did not show any major symptoms. I tested negative twice but ended up needing to extend my quarantine because my grand daughter tested positive and we were all in the car with her when she tested. The good thing is we all made it through.
Hoping the stress will get better for everyone.

Sorry to hear these issues, Allan. I apologize on my slowish posting. It’s been a hard year, and anxiety and depression have kept my creativity diminished. Just as I was starting to get things more set I got news my aunt passed away (age related, not Covid), and that a mortgage preapproval was going to be denied to me because of something I had no control over. I’m hoping to recover soon. Please bear with.

Patrick I wanted to check in and see how you are holding up please feel free to reach out if you would like. I might know someone who might be able to help you with the mortgage also at least give you some advice on how to move forward.

Paizo site apparently had a power loss knock out their servers that maintain data, couldn't log in until I did a web search about it, had to delete the PAIZO.com cookies, and now I'm able to get back in.

Yah they had a power outage on a server that messed it up for EVERYone. Seems to be that deleting the cookies (just for Paizo) clears up the problem and lets us log back in.

Did I mention how I luv the fact that Norveg checked the guys pockets for loose coins, THEN checked to see if he still had a pulse? :P

And I'm not sure that he's dead... that was a crap roll. But he probably will be shortly. I mean, knife in the kidney - if he's not writhing around in pain, he's probably dying.
