Gig Razorbyte's page

Gig leaves the adventuring life and uses his experience to go back to performing on keyboard. He writes a new epic conceptual album called Breakthrough which he goes on tour with. He continues to look for the greatest capes that he can purchase so that for every concert he wears a different cape. He also seeks out the best technology and magic to create the most epic concert experience ever. It combines videos, laser lights, pyrotechnics, and of course, moving stages.

He doesn't miss fighting the Sivv or other nasty creatures, but he does miss the camaraderie he shared with his adventuring buddies. Along his galactic tours, he always makes an effort to seek out Hack, Janzi, Dunk, and Booker on whatever planet they may be living. He is always generous with his back stage passes and freely gives them out to his friends and any other friends they want to bring. Whenever he sees Booker, he tries to convince him to become head of security for his concerts.

"I would support that decision. Just make sure you take away all technology and let them live with themselves for a while until they evolve into something a little kinder."

Gig scours the infosphere looking for information on a planet that would habitable for the Sivv that is far and remote where they could be transplanted.

"I have no problem assuring you that I have never met a single Sivv that did not want to annihilate our entire civilization. For a while, I even spent time living like a Sivv and I can assure you that it was not fun. They did not even let me play my music! Perhaps somebody might find some redeeming qualities in them if they work hard at it, but I just can't admit to seeing any yet."

"You know Gig, if this is the end, I'll say that I'm glad it ended in front of a computer. Despite the music, you're alright."

Your pretty alright, yourself, Hack. But wait, what’s wrong with all the music? You know that it has to be played at loud volumes to get the right feeling?”

Gig also rests to regain stamina.

Move action to return to the terminal and standard action to shut off the holograms!

Gig feels the pull of the pillar, but quickly rushes over, quickly takes over the keyboard and attempts to shut down all of the holograms.

Gig takes a guarded step back and casts Dimension Door

He appears next to Hack all bloodied up and near death, but still eager to push buttons.

"Whatcha doing?", he asks his ysoki friend. "Are you playing with a computer system without me?"

. I don't think I have used a reroll in a long time. But I think it is needed here.

Gig takes another guarded step back and casts radiation ray! to try and take down this sivv once and for all!

Gig takes a guarded step back and casts Disintegrate on white!

Gig casts disintegrate against the false Booker!

Gig lines up his position and casts arcing surge (120 foot line) on both Holo Booker and the Red Beast!

Gig searches the room and the evil twins looking for anything valuable, especially on that ysoki.

Gig decides for the sure thing and recasts Magic Missile to take down the Construct Hack!

"We have just the right number of Hacks, you are one too many!"

Gig casts Radiation Ray and blasts it at the evil Hack!

Fire Damage: 8d12 + 9 ⇒ (7, 8, 1, 11, 2, 8, 10, 8) + 9 = 64 plus High Radiation

"You are an imposter, my rat! My friend would never try to punch the Dunk!"

Gig casts magic missile again and fires three force bolts at the evil ysoki!

Magic Missile: 3d4 + 3 + 9 ⇒ (2, 4, 2) + 3 + 9 = 20

Gig repeats his use of ever reliable Magic Missile! He cringes at the thought of firing the missiles at the evil Hack who looks like his dear friend, so he fires and then closes his eyes!

Gig doesn’t want to miss and casts magic missile on the evil booker!

Gig moves up and casts Arcing Surge on the orange Hack!

"You look rather familiar, but something is not right!"

”You need a hand? You’ve got it!”

Gig casts Psychokinetic Hand and uses it to try and remove the transposition key.

”I thought you were looking at some hot chicks the way you were hogging the headset. But no. It’s just more Sivv!”

As Gig looks through the telescope himself, he ponders out loud, ”Why do you think that little one has two bodyguards? Do you think he is scheming something naughty? And what is that thing doing trying to mimick him? I wonder if he knows that he is being watched?”

”So, Hack, are you going to tell us what you saw in the telescope or am I going to have to look myself?”

Gig looks over at Hack and observes if the helmet does anything to the Ysoki or if he overlooked any traps.

Perception: 1d20 + 20 ⇒ (20) + 20 = 40

"If you were talking to me, I would definitely respond, but I think these computers are better at keeping their feelings inside."

Computers: 1d20 + 37 ⇒ (15) + 37 = 52

"I wonder what were those two up to?"

Gig takes a guarded step back and lets fire an arcing surge to hit both the Sivv and the Giant!

Gig takes a five foot guarded step back from the Sivv and casts magic missile at it.

"Are you one of those fanatical Sivv? You sure look like one."

Gig casts arcing surge to strike both the Sivv and the giant.

Gig follows Booker.

"Come on folks, let's try and keep up with him. Are you guys slacking back here?"

"Just what Janzi said. You do you and we will do we. If our paths cross again then cool."

”This is a strange way for the sphinx to get a head.”

Mysticism: 1d20 + 27 ⇒ (17) + 27 = 44

”I wonder if he has a worldly outlook on life?”

"Well one key is helpful, but let's see if we can find a few more."

Gig walks up to the computer display and let's his eyes gaze over the calculations. "What do we have here?" he says to himself.

He lets the calculation enter his brain and he tries to figure out what the computer is doing?

"These Life Fluid Hypopens looks very effective, but I cannot help but feel for the slaves who gave their lives for these ghoulish techniques."

Turning to the mystic, the ysoki asks,"Janzi can you make use of these? I can use the gems of remove radioactivity, but why don't you take the rest."

Gig takes the three spell gems of remove radioactivity.

"I'm so sorry about what the Sivv did to you and your planet. Let's make this right! Do you need a ride off of this place?"

"No. We are not slaves of the Sivv, at least not now."

Gig looks over the aqlath carefully before replying further.

"Where exactly do your people come from? Are there any others like you at home?"

"Yeah!". Gig repeats Booker's command. "Give yourself up!"

"Well, Hacky, I'm glad you took my advice and avoided Sivv domination. There would be nothing worse than to have to live like a Sivv. However, now that I think about it, that could be a good title for a new hit, Livin Like a Sivv. Or better yet, how about Leakin Like a Sivv?!"

Gig jumps in and tries to repair the damage Hack did with an aid.

Computers: 1d20 + 37 ⇒ (6) + 37 = 43

Gig decides to conserve his spells and he casts magic missile on the robot!

"Go get 'em you little bolts of force!"

Gig quickly casts another Arcing Surge on the red sivv.

Gig quickly casts another Arcing Surge on the white sivv.

At the sight of the degenerator blast, Gig quickly moves into position and casts Arcing Surge on the sivv.

"I keep getting these offers that if I take a survey they will give me a brand new laser rifle. Somehow they never seem to follow through on the prize. Maybe that's because I kept using your name and giving them all of your information."

"Well, what can you do with it?"

"Who is trying to sell this stuff?! The payment plan seems really steep. Do we even want or need state of the art sivv virtual intelligence?"

"Right on it, Booker!"

Gig hops up to the podium and tries to access the computer system.

"Knot this door!", Gig puns as he looks at the northern door.
