Bubba takes his share and any other food being offered. You know halflings can have a stellar appetite, but judging by the size of this one and the happy chewing sounds, Bubba takes the cake.

"I could go with you if you want Lorekeeper. I don't have much else for plans just yet." He takes out some medical salve and smears a bit on her arm, curious if she too is allergic to the ancient Osirian remedy.

Thanks for adding me in for the grand finale! Bubba was happy to help, even if his bug smashing skills never came into play.

The grin from smashing a 'spider' dead quickly leaves his face as the haunt blisters more skin. "Ok, that needs to stop."

Bubba ever so slowly run/walks between the two closest hands, dragging his wooden plank behind him. "I'mmmm coomminnnnggg!" He slurs before swinging the lumber at the green hand. It looks pretty dangerous, a large wooden plank coming for your throat.

Not even enough actions to rage. Sad face.

"Ooooo... noooo..." Bubba's voice gets sluggish like he's had a few too many tokes of the pesh hookah back home.

"Evil magic hands, coming for our throats!" Bubba hollers out, apparently not sure of anything else going on. What he is sure of though is he better get ready to start smashing. He grabs his oversized greatclub with both hands.

"I'm gonna start smooshing right quick!"

"Huh. All I see is our tracks. Maybe this is all a bunch of magic hullabaloo?" What happens when you mess with magic hullabaloo anyhow?

Bubba tosses a small club at the 'magic' area.

"Uhhh. I'll look for our tracks and maybe you guys that like broken pottery should look at that pile?" He points to the lorekeeper specifically.

Somehow now a survival master, or just a lucky SOB, Bubba finds something that COULD be interesting. "Well now."

"As long as I don't need any more of your 'medicinal' assistance," Sebasti jabs with a wry smile.

"Ya, we'll try to keep those creepy critters away next time so you don't get stung again." He waves off the wry smile, always happy to help.

"But you said you found a backpack?" Her eyes light upon said pack and immediately light up. "Oh! Yes, that's mine! Thank you for bringing it along with you," she adds as she slowly and gingerly gets to her feet. "Saves us all the trouble of having to go back and look for it."

"The, uhh, snacks may have gotten eaten.. and the potions too." Bubba hands over the remainder of rations and paperwork.

"Did you finish exploring down here? We can take a look around a bit more with ya if ya want? Right Ezren? No trouble at all." Bubba is always up for some more adventure, especially since he's in great shape.

"Well, we did find the one big dead spider with the dagger sticking out. Was that your doing?"

"Oh, how'd I miss that!" Bubba rubs his head embarrassingly. "Ya, lots of bad things like to hide underground. Or maybe its the lack of light that makes them bad? Huh." His brain gets into a 'chicken or the egg' debate on the subject.

Bubba the extra large halfling looks over and waves "I'm Bubba, we're Pathfinders. We found a note in the cave and came down to investigate." He shows off his glowing wayfinder before stomping another tiny creepy crawly he found under a stone.

"We didn't find any big spiders, just webs and other oversized buggies. We did find a backpack though.. was it yours?"

"Is she going to live?" Bubba asks, knowing the sounds of healing magic, at least he thinks he does.

Club in hand he moves around with the others to secure the area from biting vermin. Search +7

"No time like the present," Sebasti says. Blade ready for the inevitable arachnid ambush, he moves into the cave toward the web-bound figure on the boulder. "Don't let me die!"

"Don't worry, I have my healer's kit!"

"Ugh, I hate spiders. Let's lure it out and I'll smoosh the green goop out of its belly!" Bubba takes out a two foot chunk of 2x4 with a handle carved out of it.

"I can toss this into the web and see if a spider jumps out, then we smoosh."

"Oh, that makes sense about the lore stuff. Hopefully he's not so allergic for sure." Bubba picks one last bit of jerky from his teeth and rearms himself with his wooden plank.

"Onward!" He announces.

"Hey, some snacks left in here! Not sure why anyone would leave behind perfectly good snacks and potions.. the other stuff looks a bit boring, but maybe its important?" Bubba turns his light back on and partakes in some jerky as the others look things over.

Another one of them shrieking mushrooms.. well, no sense standing here like a noob!

"Don't worry, I got this." Bubba shuts off his light, draws his dagger and creeps towards the mushroom. Now, where's that air sac again?

Bubba steps back and looks at his handiwork "Ya, something doesn't seem right. You look worse than before.. its super red now too... Does this hurt?" He pokes the now super red and swollen area, just to be sure.

"Want me to try something else?"

"Hold still, the burn means its working!" Bubba slathers the wound with some ointment in an unlabeled clay jar. The smell is NOT good.

Looks like Bubba never got to his turn in the order so he didn't end up raging.

Bubba looks pretty agitated with the creepy crawlies but they're snuffed out before he can get in close to do anything about it.

"You sick? Did it poison you? Oh... not good! I've had buddies that worked the temples with me die of snake and scorpion bites!" He drops his plank and starts pulling out all manner of bandages and scalpels and old clay jars of ointments.

"Want me ta try helping?"

I'll let you decide if want some treatment, be it for poison or for healing. Bubba is +5 trained. You can make the roll.

Bubba gets angry at the biting vermin when he hears about the poison "These things are no better than evil snakes and scorpions! Time to smoosh them into a paste Sebasti!" Accept aid

Bubba looks around at the tight quarters. "I'll go around and flank 'em!" Out comes the oversized timber as he makes his way around to the southeast.

Draw weapon and double stride. He has his wayfinder light back on.

"Huh. I'm gonna try something that might look dumb, back me up if it does." He turns off his glowing wayfinder, draws out a dagger and tries to creep up close and personal with the shrieker.

Who are you trying to impress? This has gotta be the dumbest thing you've ever done Ho-tep!

Oh come on Mother, you obviously didn't see some of the stuff I did when you weren't looking!

He creeps as close as possible before lunging out and stabbing his dagger into the fungus.

Man a mushroom and I'm not on Eddie my fungus leshy!

Bubba walks into the back of Isder, nearly dislodging the monk as the procession stops suddenly "What's going on up there? Find something?" The oversized halfling tries to peer around the corner but can't see much.

Nature +5 if/when Bubba can get into line of sight.

"So uhhh, you guys been together long?" Bubba awkwardly tries to strike up a conversation as he rolls over a big rock for clues. Eww, worms. He flops it back down and heads for another one.

"Can't say I'm all that good tracking.. maybe?" Bubba starts to look for clues to the south, unless someone quickly picks another direction.

+7 vs +5 so likely better for Bubba to stick with search I guess.

If anyone doesn't want to be at the front let me know, Bubba can (hopefully) take a hit or two.

"Can't start a new project without at least a snack first. Just doesn't seem right." He wipes away the crumbs and grease of said trail snack on his simple pants and continues making his way down the sometimes narrow passageways. His unwieldy weapon stowed away and somehow not making life miserable.

Once the trail forks he rubs his forehead and squints, trying to look ahead into the darkness. "Maybe that fella didn't get into trouble with orcs and goblins, maybe he got lost..."

Guess I'll stick with search +7 for now.

"Huh." Is about all Bubba can think to say as he gets himself out of the rain, listening to the ghostly voice read the note.

"I use'ta love being out in the rain in the desert. It didn't show up often. It was quite an event. So many pots to lug around we've fill up and store down in the cool caves." He pulls off his overshirt and wrings the rain out of it "Now I guess I don't care for it so much."

Through you travels you've got to know just a bit about Bubba. He comes from the desert lands of the ancient Osirian empire and somehow ended up working for the Society, mostly to help move heavy things around. For some reason he's quite fond of carrying around an oversized wooden plank, that seems pretty awkward, but it sure does smash snakes well.

"Oh, I've got one of those light things too." Hanging around his neck he pokes it into glowing. "Should we maybe have some lunch first or go straight into search and rescue?"

No worries, its only a few silver regardless. Bubba's not a great porter for some reason since it relies on his brain!

After a few dropped boxes and angry words, Bubba gets lucky and finds a stowaway on the ship he was loading. "Well sure that's why I dropped them crates, that guy looked like he had the plague or somethin', Mother protect us all."

Happy to steal the nicely formatted downtime roll!

Game was great, the company even better.

Bubba hands his greatclub over to the woman to use to steady herself "Kinda like waking up from a time machine huh? I know what you mean, been there done that one... weird how time changes things!" He grins and puts an arm around the woman's shoulders.

"How 'bout we take you to the Lodge to catch up on a few things.. like the new menu for the day's meals... and maybe meet with Fola, since she was good enough to get you unstoned n all." He grins, pointing the general direction in case she's forgotten.

Jirelle trots across the square to get opposite of Swayaah. "She doesn't look good," she asides to Bubba.

"Its the fingernails... creepy, I agree."

Bubba shifts back and forth around his weapon, almost like he's using it like a tree to hide behind. "No one bites at Bubba and gets away with it!" He does his best to pulverize the snake into the fountain.

"HA!" Bubba celebrates momentarily after cold conking the green snake thing. It doesn't take him long though to reverse course and hustle back to help out his pirate friend Jirelle.

"One.. two... three GO!" He times up his walloping with the help of her distractions... mostly just splashing around in the fountain.

"Old guy's in trouble, I'm going to help!" Hollers Bubba to his adjacent allies before he quickly stomps off.

"Damn green demon snake, get that old man outta those fangs!" He tries to bury the creature into the cobble stones.

Rage then sudden charge.

"Hey, where'd they fly off to? Tricky snakes!"

"Demons? Daemons? SNAKES?" Bubba drags out his great club and roars in anger. "Wait for me, I hate demon snakes!" He rushes up next to Swayaah and tries to wallop Red.

Knowing where his strengths lie, and don't lie, Bubba decides to let the smooth talkers handle this. He keeps his fists clenched to his sides and keeps on the ready in case someone needs a KPOW!

"Keep back else you'll make the Queen angry!" He hollers at the crowd.

"Did you say plants? I like me some plants.. ever had fresh figs on toast with goat cheese? Some fig trees grow really well in the desert.. once you give them a smidge of water." It makes sense I guess right?

"Which kind of maid were you? Back where I'm from the 'maids' had quite a lot of 'chores' to handle." Bubba snickers a bit before straightening up his hat and heading over to ask the muttering woman about the local traditions.

"Heh, I've been told I can get kinda crabby when I'm hangry too." He smashes the butt of his great club down on a particularly barnacle covered crab that got too close. "But I think Jed liked bein' a bit too dramatic, at least that's what I told him when he came to."

"Come on Slippy, maybe we can have a couple rounds of arm wrestlin' and a sandwich?"

"Damn, look how much gold that guy made... Grumble." A bit of jealousy comes out from the monetarily deficient Halfling.

"Slippy is a good name, whatcha say about coming with us Slippy?"

I'm a fan of the secret rolls for all the reasons you guys mentioned, but I do agree its another thing on the GMs plate to deal with.

Bubba picks his way through the room, looking for identifying information.. or maybe just some cool lost, forgotten loot...

"Hey what'r these?" He lets them swing on their chains for the others to eyeball.

"Last door to go right?" He does just that, checking out the other door.

"Ya, gulls are all hollow bones n feathers. Guy's gotta be half starved, good thing you all brought extra food, I ate mine a while back." While the others chat the creature up and look him over, Bubba looks around the main hold of the ship at the crates, then moves to check the northern door.

Keep on searching. +7 perception
