She then turns and also burns the slime away from where it contacted Talric. This stuff is nasty. We need to burn it or freeze it to get rid of it. ![]()

Missing badly. She proceeds to run after him, catching up easily. How far can he run? I assume the stairs are difficult territory and it was a move action to grab the torch. If so, he seems to have moved quite a bit further than he should have been able to without some increased movement ability. ![]()

![]() I agree 100%. A 30 second post informing people you will be gone for the weekend, or a week, or whatever is always appreciated -- and this foes for players as well as the DM. There is nothing worse than being in a combat and having the bard or fighter not post for 2-3 days. If someone is taking off, list how your character is likely to act, then someone or the DM can run the character to avoid big delays. ![]()

I assume I can do this. I do not think the map has been updated in a while, so I do not know the positioning of people. However, the swing strikes the wall on her backswing and never comes close to its target. ![]()

![]() Ok, read through a few list boards. Seems you can have Java 6 and Java 7 installed at the same time and choose which to run. You should be able to go to the site I linked above and download Java 6. I have not tried this, but here is the Apple Support page. ![]()

![]() Hmmm, not sure whats up with that. How did you find what Java you were using? I cannot figure it out, although I am pretty sure I do not have Java 7. Apple still has a Java 6 which they are supporting, unlike Oracle which stopped. ![]()

One thing I started doing is exporting each file twice. Once with a unique name - Upper Level 5.png or something. And then a second time as Current Map.png. This way, I can always have the Current Map visible at the top of the page for easy viewing, but have a record of each map should I want to backtrack. Sorry for the long post, hope this helps. ![]()

![]() Hard to tell, but here is a Java 6 update from Apple dated May 29, 2014. Perhaps it will work. Personally, I am starting to hate Java. Invariably it slows my computer to a crawl half the time, so I usually just block it and only enable it when I want to see something. Results in some gray boxes on my screen, but definitely speeds things up. ![]()

![]() I just upgraded to 10.9.4 last week. Seems to be working fine for me. I do not run too many programs other than the basic Pages/Numbers/Keynote, several browsers. I have had no problem running MapTools or PC Gen. Here is a thought, try downloading one of the earlier versions - 1.3.b87 or 1.3.b86. They are pretty similar. I am running the newest version 1.3.b89 right now without a problem. It is possible that it requires a newer OS X or Java. Try one of the older ones. ![]()

![]() You have the Java 7 problem? I think there is a workaround. I actually avoided upgrading to the new OS X until last week to let them get some of the Java bugs worked out. I was worried, but fortunately my MapTools still works. ![]()

![]() With MapTools I can probably help you. With anything Windows related, I am pretty clueless. I switched to Mac almost 5 years ago and have never been happier. Before that I was working on Windows XP machines and hated every minute of it. I figure I would lose 1-2 days a month rebooting and reinstalling crap on the office computers. Since I went on my own and got a Mac, I figure I have to reboot, not reinstall, just reboot about once every month or two. A little more frequent, maybe once every three weeks, these days as my computer is over 4 years old and getting a little slower at times if I have 40 or 50 browser windows open (like when trying to determine which domain or bloodline I want to create a character using).. ![]()

![]() I think that was my point. This is not a fast attack like an arrow or a sling. It is two barrels being rolled down a slope. Also, I thought that the slope you were mentioning was to the south, which is why I had not made any rolls. Ghae actually went up the north passage a few feet I though earlier before we all turned around to check the south passage. Really, I would have thought this would call for a perception check to see whether we heard/saw the barrels. It was not instantaneous like someone pulled a lever and the oil suddenly poured down on us from above. ![]()

![]() Just so I understand, the barrels were rolled at least 65' and stopped right next to us without any chance for a perception roll to avoid them. And then the archers as a standard action drew special arrows, lit them on fire somehow and fired them? Also, did you include a +4 to the AC of the barrels for having Soft Cover as 1 enemy, Tal & May, and Christoph and Ghae are all between the barrels and the archers. ![]()
