DM Grimmy
Since I'm all in black and standing out of lantern range would the southern bandits be able to see me?
Assuming they're normal humans with no special vision, they can only see 20' beyond the edge of the torchlight.
Those 20' are dim-light though, which grants concealment.
Grokar the Ravager
Round 5
Grokar throws the javelin still in his hand at the nearest member of the phalanx, hoping to catch them off guard. He moves first South, just barely into the light so the soldiers get just a glimpse of him, then North East, back into the shadows, pulling another javelin and attempting to hide himself from the view of the phalanx by putting the corner between them.
Attack: 1d20 + 4 - 2 ⇒ (4) + 4 - 2 = 6
Stealth: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11
Ghaelja Waldhaar
Since the phalanx is waiting to be shot at, Ghae pulls out another stone and fires it at one of the front men.
Attack-sling: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5
Damage: 1d4 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5
I don't suppose having a walking tree would work as a focus for Entangle.
Christoff van Alst
Round 5
Christoff moves forward and a small bolt of arcane energy shoots from his hand at the assembled enemies.
Magic Missile at Yellow.
Damage: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
Pharnox Shadowstrike
Round 5
Pharnox shoots an arrow past Talric at the blue bandit.
Attack roll: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (9) + 6 = 15
Damage roll: 1d6 ⇒ 4
And then moves along the shadow staying just outside the light positioning himself on the side of the hallway ready to ambush any attackers who come out of the hall.
Talric of the Northlands
ROUND FIVE
Talric notices the slight inclie, and smiles. This would give more weight to his charge. Surveying the quickly decaying phalanx, Talric charges at Orange.
Power Attack: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (8) + 9 = 17
Damage: 2d6 + 9 ⇒ (4, 6) + 9 = 19
DM Grimmy
Also incline goes up :p
Round 5 - Bandits
The spearmen left standing alone in the front row falls back to fill the ranks.
Four archers loose their shots on Talric.
Shortbow: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5
Shortbow: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (19) + 3 = 22
Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 3
Shortbow: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (18) + 3 = 21 (cover)
Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 1
Shortbow: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (11) + 3 = 14 (cover)
To the north a faint creaking sound is heard.
Talric of the Northlands
ROUND SIX
Talric yanks the arrows out of his armor and charges up the incline at one of the bandits, swinging around his hammer to deflect any more bow shots. Fighting Defensively and Shield of Swings.
Attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (19) + 4 = 23
Damage: 2d6 + 6 ⇒ (4, 4) + 6 = 14 Divide by 2.
Ghaelja Waldhaar
Round 6
Ghae moves forward and launches another stone while May moves around the corner and attacks the first orange enemy.
Ghae - Attack-sling@Pink: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (19) + 3 = 22
Damage: 1d4 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6
May - Attack-slam: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (7) + 5 = 12
Damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9
DM Grimmy
AoO's:
vs Tal:
Longspear: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (18) + 3 = 21
Damage: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
vs May:
Longspear: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5
Dunno what your AC is Tal, listed damage in case that hit.
Ghae brings down a bandit with her sling. Talric and May close in on the phalanx, striding past the thrusting spears to crush the front line with hammer and branchy fist.
As the enemies fall they see a wide hallway at a 90 degree angle running east. Three more bandits lurk there ready to launch missiles or join the fray.
Edit:Added that last line^^
Grokar the Ravager
Round 6
Grokar moves up to corner across from Pharnox, putting away his javelin as he does so, and attempts to hide himself better there, ready to support the others should they need to retreat.
Stealth: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (20) + 4 = 24
As he hears the noise from the north, he assumes it to be the closing of a door as the previous archers retreat, but he is confident that he can track them down again should he need to. Still, he glances that way for a moment, hoping that he sees no other new enemies.
Perception: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (13) + 9 = 22
Grokar the Ravager
Grokar tries to catch the attention of the two elves near him by motioning to the North with his head. He mouths the Common word for "trap," hoping they will understand and be ready.
Pharnox Shadowstrike
Round 6
Pharnox will hold his position, but he will keep eye on the north hallway so as to be prepared for any attack they may be preparing.
DM Grimmy
Round 6 Bandits
Pt. 1
The creaking sound increases in the north hall, and moments laters a pair of barrels come rolling down. Christoff and Ghae smell lamp oil as they grind to a halt.
Distance in feet
Barrel Roll: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8
Barrel Roll: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 2 = 9
The archers to the south light flame arrows and loose them on the barrels.

Shortbow: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8
The oil ignites consuming Ghae and Christoff

Fire Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 3
Fire Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 6
9 damage each
1d3 ongoing
tbc...
Talric of the Northlands
Current AC: 22.
Talric roars as one of the longspears pierces his defense, and steps forward and attacks one of the bandits.
Defensive Attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (9) + 4 = 13
Shield of Swings Damage: 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7
Annnd another one bites the dust (AC 13, right?)
Ghaelja Waldhaar
Just so I understand, the barrels were rolled at least 65' and stopped right next to us without any chance for a perception roll to avoid them. And then the archers as a standard action drew special arrows, lit them on fire somehow and fired them? Also, did you include a +4 to the AC of the barrels for having Soft Cover as 1 enemy, Tal & May, and Christoph and Ghae are all between the barrels and the archers.
DM Grimmy
Let me check if I messed anything up Ghae.
Idea is the barrels roll down the sloped hall. The creaking sound from earlier rounds and the low object the bandits were crouched over peering around the corner was the barrels.
They spill some lamp oil for the archers to shoot. I think knocking the arrows is a free action, so they just light and lob arrows at any of the grid intersections.
It all seems square to me, I tried to be conservative with the damage (used the figures for single flasks of oil).
Pharnox Shadowstrike
Massive power outage around here so I'm completely mobile today and unable to move my token.
Round 7
Pharnox will move through the shadows till he is 3 spaces North of Ghae knocking an arrow as he moves. He will fire said arrow at the green archer in the North corridor.
Attack roll: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (10) + 6 = 16
Damage roll: 1d6 ⇒ 4
Grokar the Ravager
In the future, you may want to roll all PCs automatic Perception. I was the only character that received a check (which was not passive), and that was in the same round they were hit, but the barrels should have been obvious to those with low light vision.
On my phone, so I'll post tonight.
Ghaelja Waldhaar
I think that was my point. This is not a fast attack like an arrow or a sling. It is two barrels being rolled down a slope. Also, I thought that the slope you were mentioning was to the south, which is why I had not made any rolls. Ghae actually went up the north passage a few feet I though earlier before we all turned around to check the south passage.
Really, I would have thought this would call for a perception check to see whether we heard/saw the barrels. It was not instantaneous like someone pulled a lever and the oil suddenly poured down on us from above.
DM Grimmy
The bandit archer falls to the shadowy drow assailant.
@Pharnox: Moved your token.
@Grokar: Creaking sound was loud enough for everyone to hear so I didn't bother rolling perception. The rolling barrels, definitely no check required to notice. They made a racket and passed right through full torchlight.

Ok just erase the damage I guess. I wasn't sure if May ever went up the north passage, I thought you did a redo on that when you found out she couldn't catch up to the bandits. That's why I left it up to you to decide whether she should roll perception to notice the slope in the north hall here.
Grokar the Ravager
Round 7
Sure that he is safely hidden from his enemies and at a place advantageous to his group should they regroup, Grokar maintains his position, dropping low in case another surprise attack comes.
Maintain Stealth, drop into Full Defense (+4 AC)

Sorry for the confusion. Ghae and May went up the North passage a short distance - here is the post. The post you used was after we were heading up the south passage and attacking, so I thought all the inquiries were about the south passage.
Ghaelja Waldhaar
Round 7
Ghae moves forward and launches another stone at one of the archers in the rear.
Attack@brown: 1d20 + 3 - 4 ⇒ (17) + 3 - 4 = 16
Damage: 1d4 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6
As soon as the stone flashes by, May steps forward and once more slams the enemies.
Attack-slam@purple: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 = 20
Damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6
Attack-slam@purple or blue if purple is down: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (13) + 5 = 18
Damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4
Not sure, but that might have taken down a few.
DM Grimmy
Ghaelja's sling bolt fells an archer and May crushes two more bandits with her stumpy arms.
Looks like you factored in the +4 AC from soft cover as a penalty on your attack roll with the sling, right Ghae?
Round 7 - Bandits
The remaining bandits in the south hall lay down their weapons.
"Spare us and we will take you to meet our leader. He is in negotiations with a priestess of some sort back in his quarters."
The bandit in the north hall retreats down the side-passage and slams the door to the storage room where the barrels of oil were brought out from.
Pharnox Shadowstrike
Round 8
There might be more useful things from where these barrels came from.
Pharnox will cast Deeper Darkness on the northern torch and advance 30' up the now dark northern ramp.
Ghaelja Waldhaar

Yup, I never think of it as an AC bonus, but as an attack reduction. Let me know if you want me to not do this next time.
Talric of the Northlands
At the bandits' surrender, Talric falls to his feet, breathing heavily. The massive Northlander has blood running all down his armor, and his two large gashes on his face: one on his cheek, one above his eye, drowning part of his vision in a river of red. Painfully, Talric takes one of the potions he had been issued and drained it, it's contents pouring down his throat.
Grimmy, what's the CL of the potion? I'm assuming three.
Healing: 2d8 + 3 ⇒ (3, 2) + 3 = 8
Slowly, and with a groan, Talric gets up as his wounds close. He nods toward the bandits. "I accept your surrender. You fought valiantly, and did your ancestors proud." He stumbles back into the central chamber and leans against the wall, groaning. "That was hard fought, my friends. Our ancestors smile upon us this day." He then takes out a (thankfully) unsoiled leather book and a chunk of graphite, and begins writing in it.
