Hello hello, just stopped in to check about the timeline for this to be PFS sanctioned. I certainly hope it gets sanctioned soon. ![]()
![]() silent image has a range of 400+ feet. Is that from the point it was cast or from the caster? It has a duration of concentration, so if you maintain concentration on the spell, can it move with you indefinitely, or is it limited to stay within the 400+ feet of the place it was originally cast? I assumed that the range of the spell was from the caster so if you're mounted and moving at a nice slow pace (so you don't have to do concentration checks) you could essentially be using your standard action to concentrate on the spell and keep your illusion with you. If range is from point cast, at 10th level your range is 800ft. If you are in a dungeon and you cast it at the entrance and you go through many rooms and corridors and windy tunnels, if you move with your illusion and maintain concentration as your standard action, and you are still within a straight line to within 800 feet of the place cast, is that OK? ![]()
![]() I've looked around a bit to see if I can find the answer to this and I've seen a few conflicting opinions. "As a swift action, a warpriest can expend one use of this ability to cast any one warpriest spell he has prepared with a casting time of 1 round or shorter. When cast in this way, the spell can target only the warpriest, even if it could normally affect other or multiple targets" The first question is, can a warpriest can use fervor to cast spells like sun metal? It seems that this may have table variation from GM to GM. It depends on if targeting warpriest's weapons count as targeting the warpriest. I've seen arguments both ways but I was wondering if there was some official ruling on this question, or if it will just be left to GM discretion. As an extension to that first question, if a warpriest can cast spells like sun metal with fervor, could a warpriest cast a targeted spell like Blindness/Deafness or Bestow Curse into their spell storing weapon? The action would be similar to a magus, fervor swift action cast bestow curse into their own spell storing weapon and then standard action wack someone with it. ![]()
![]() I was just thinking about the APs and PFS. I've started really enjoying running APs for the PFS tables at my local shop. I am hoping that they release chronicles for the last two PF1 APs.... with the APs, otherwise I will likely never get to play them. Perhaps we can apply a little encouragement for them to start releasing chronicles with the APs so we can actually use them for PFS, when they come out. ![]()
![]() I mainly want to see scenarios offered for higher level characters. The reason that we cap out at 12 is because higher level play bogs down for the time allowed, correct? What I am most hoping for in PF2 is that higher level play is more streamlined so that we can have PFS scenarios all the way up to level 20. That won't happen right away, of course, but I think a goal should be to have PFS support the full level range of the game.

It has the first page about what level ranges for each book for PFS but yeah, missing the actual chronicles for each book. I am eagerly awaiting the chronicles so I can drive my local PFS crew insane. ![]()
![]() I was thinking of trying to build a character that was focused on doing damage to people who damaged him. Tactics would be running at the enemy and provoking AOOs and getting hit but doing loads of damage in return. Spells like defensive shock and spell storing armor are obvious but i was wondering about other options. Right now i am thinking of going bloodrager. The ability to take hits and persevere is key so some mechanic of regenerating hit points is needed.
