Are you still needing players? Because I am very interested, and it fits what I am looking for in a game.

If you are, what are you missing? (healer, mage, etc) Because I'm willing to fill any role needed.

Also, the links are all broken.

Edit: Nvm, found the working one

Character sheet is now fixed

Oh man I forgot the +2 to a stat for being Human, going to add it to Dex. I'll update sheet when I get home.

Do you have an image in mind?

I do, it's right Here

My submission (can be adjusted if needed): Bravik Grey

Is there any particular role they need?

edit: Oh and is the HP rolled or is it full at 1st then half for the rest?

Definite interest here. Love dwarves and the concept of building a kingdom with one excites me greatly.

Sorry my info is late, IRL stuff has prevented me from having the time to get him made up. I should have the time to get him made in the morning.

Boros "Babbles" Ironfoot, was a traveling merchant who dabbled in smithing from time to time. He was a good merchant, except he a slight problem. He loved to get hammered before he conducting business, his reason? His drunken slurs made it hard for people to understand him when he was negotiating, causing them to get frusrated and take his original offer. This tactic worked sometimes, but usually it left people confused by all his babbling. Thus he was called Babbles by those who knew him.

One day ol' Babbles woke up to find his caravan missing along with most of his belongings. With a lot of mumbling about never trusting another elf he picked up the chest he was using as a pillow and set off to find a place to start over once more. He eventual stumbled into a small town that, while quite beautiful, was in obvious need of some financial help. Dwarves do so love a challenge.

I got a message that the game was cancelled. Can you confirm that is still the case Sliver?

I am 100% ready for review.

I am interested in joining. I will finish my character soon.

I am available: Monday, Tues, and Wednesday.

Grats to the selected, have fun.

Galeigh the Thief

Rogues come in many shapes and sizes. Some are brutish thugs that rely on force to get their way, others are pirates or bandits who attack the helpless to make their fortunes. Galeigh is none of these, he is but a thief. He has always been a thief. When he was but a child in the slums his mother died of illness and his father was killed by a local gang for reasons Galeigh still does not know. He didn't like the orphanage so he left, no not ran away. He simply got up and walked out the front door and never came back. He learned quick that he'd have to steal in order to survive, so at first all he took was food and drink. As he grew older he found he liked the challenge of a difficult job and became a thief for hire. He specifically chose the most difficult jobs in order to strengthen his skills and techniques. At first he was discovered a lot, after all he was still just a rookie. Though he preferred to run rather than fight he always boasting of never being unarmed. A group of guards who confronted him at the fruit market learned the hard way that this was more than a boast and spend 2 days picking all the fruit out their armor. Galeigh has been called many things throughout his life, a coward, an outlaw, and several names that should not be spoken in polite company, but above all else, he is a thief, one who believes that no one will be out of his reach when he reaches his peak, not even the gods.

Concept > optimization here. My fighter has an INT score of 15, not really worried about optimization.

Oracle then. That works too.

Whoops didn't add an advisor.

Advisor: Farn Lighthammer, Cleric of Torag.

The only non-Hammerstone dwarf in the clan. He was granted honorary membership when he chose to stand by the clan when they were being ousted. His experience as a cleric and his proven loyalty are the reasons Duros selected him as an advisor.

You know... I forgot to add the predator that plagues the Hammerstone stone class.

The Hammerstone Clan can deal with most predators that bother them, except for the wolves. Wolves come in quietly and quickly and sometimes make off with a young dwarf before the even realize that the wolves were there. For this reason the Hammerstone are excessively paranoid about wolf attacks. The young are the future after all.

My only real question is this: Is there anything about Bran would like me to elaborate on?

Ok, I have fixed Duros Hammerstone

Why does a level 2 Fighter with a Constitution of 14 have only 15 hit points? Shouldn't it be 19?

That would be because I forgot to add in the con bonus. whoops, will fix when I get back from work.

I would like to be considered for this game. I am, as of this post, not currently in any PBP games.

The character I submit for review is:

Bran Oathsield

Background:

When Bran was still a young and beardless dwarf he was orphaned by Bandits near the village of Restov. Though the bandits left the child for dead in the Rostland plains his dwarven heritage and keen intellect kept him alive for three days until he was found by a blacksmith from Restov who was travelling to New Stetven to buy supplies for his forge. The smith, called Rorin, taught Bran everything he knew and treated him as a son until his dying day.

Bran had a keen talent for engineering that did not go unnoticed by Rorin, who had Bran study up on the subject in the hopes that such a talent would not go waste. Unfortunately, the small village of Restov had neither the resources or the need for an engineer so Bran mostly worked with Rorin at the forge, but never stopped studying engineering.

When Rorin passed Bran decided it was time to leave the village, without Rorin he no longer had ties to the land, but he would never forget the kindness of those who welcomed him when Rorin brought him in. The day the messenger came to village calling for explorers to enter the Greenbelt Bran saw it as a way to find his own path and give something back to the country that he called home. He picked up his dwarven warxe, the only thing he had left of hist birth parents, and the armor Rorin had forged for him during his very short time as a village guard then made preparations for the journey.

The Hammerstone Clan

Abandoned by their former kin, and left to fend for themselves the Hammerstone clan find themselves without a home. The seek the shelter of the mountain caves that dwarves have always been drawn to. A clan of craftsmen and smiths without any materials to work with or even a forge they desire nothing more than anything to set up a new forge and return to the lives they once knew. Though one day they hope to shame those abandoned them.

To the Hammerstone clan, smiths are considered their most valuable assest, because not only do they forge the tools, weapons, and armor that drive their culture, but all Hammerstone smiths are required to learn to use anything they make and are thus make up the clan's defenses as well. The leader of the Hammerstone clan has the title of Grand Smith.

All Hammerstone dead are Cremated and their ashes stored in a vase in the hopes that one day they will be added to a great forge so that their spirits will empower the creations of the smiths. To be denied this cremation is the ultimate dishonor to a Hammerstone.

They survive on a diet of whatever their hunters can catch as well as the fruits, berries, and nuts they find. They long for the day when they can once again indulge in ale and cheese.

The Current Grand Smith is Duros Hammerstone
