On the sheet I sent out today was a +1 braver. As for buying items, should be chapter 5 that outlines it.. A GM must be present in order for you to purchase items, so you may only purchase items during or after a scenario. At the completion of each encounter during a scenario, your GM will award each player a set amount of gold that reflects that player’s share of the potential loot (though not all encounters will have treasure rewards). This gold piece total can fluctuate depending on what you accomplished and how you accomplished it. We assume that you have enough bags, backpacks, or muscle to haul around the loot you find or, in the case of an urban scenario, immediate access to markets and bazaars where you can sell your goods. If during a scenario you find the +1 frost longsword from the example above and decide to use it until the end of the adventure, but then you get disarmed or it gets sundered, you are still able to buy that item off the Chronicle sheet at the end of the scenario. While this system isn’t entirely realistic, it removes an incredible time sink from the play process (processing gear) and helps keep the scenario on track, on time, and moving quickly.

Jubei - you guys missed some stops, biggest one was not stealing the shrine or donating to it, that was 100gp each there, then there were a few other items you guys didn't pick up on....the cold weather gear on the dead guys, and you didn't befriend the centaurs for the MW spear they would have given you....all told, 128 gold missed, and the boon. Elwyn - officially you need a gm present to buy gear, and the 1000 gp to afford it.

Ok, I've just sent out the sheets for session 3 (and 2 for Elwyn). You'll notice I didn't fill it all out. Put your own faction in, and if you haven't told me that faction yet, let me know so I can put it in online. Fill out your sold items, bought items and the gold section....you all got 273 for this session The event code, I never put this in, I'm sorry... It is 14646 The scenario chronicle number is intro 1 thru 3 part 1 thru 3... Why the double named it I've no clue, but there it is. Questions, let me know and I'll do my best to assist. Also, as we found out, you do get a day job check if you have a craft or profession, so use it! I've had fun guys, and if I start another round I'll let you all know....it will be after gencon if I do...I think I'd like to play a session or two myself :)

Rachel, go ahead and move to the new session, if I start up another session I'd like to do it with 4....not sure about the other scenarios, but these three were definaltly overpowered by 6 players! Elwyn, will do, I'll send it with this sessions sheet. btw, you guys missed some stuff in this one, the Shrine was there for you to either steal the gold (and get a -1 for the rest of the session to all rolls) or drop a gold coin in and get a +1 to 3 rolls against dragons fire (and the gold that goes with doing that little side jaunt...about 100gb each. not a huge deal, but your going to notice it on your sheets.

Nestor: I did not, but I do know a worthless piece of junk when I see it, my guess was they hoped that it would be someone who couldn't read this, assume it was of great value due to the age, and they'd be long gone by the time we got back to the Lodge with our 'treasure'....damn fine idea, if it had actually worked. Well, that out of the way, what say we book passage back to the Absalom and save these bones another week on treking through the swamps and mountains, eh? ooc: He may be evil, but he had a contract and he was going to live up to that contract the best of his abilities...just because someone is evil doesn't mean you can't trust them....just don't trust them far :) Everything else about him is a lie, all the way down to the limp he's maintained through this whole scenario and the sword cane he uses to get by on.

No magic on the tablet, It's old, but its nearly worthless...it appears to be a burial listing for an old king in a nearly forgotten language, while it is of some value, it is nothing like what we were told it would be. Nestor chimes in. Scooping up the real relic, he returns it to his pack after inspecting it to ensure no damage has been done to it in the struggles. A search of the bodies reveals a ltter on the bartender outlineing how the Aspis Consortium has succeded in duping the PFS into giving over a relic for worthless junk, all without implicating themselves and sowing discord with the Low Azlanti Embassey....obviously it was meant to be sent AFTER they had succeded. -- ooc: I'll do up the sheets later, at work currently.

Jubei's swing takes the bartender straight through the heart, ending her life before she really had a chance to live. The bolts of magical energy from Rachels Magic Missiles end the life of the female gilman before she could dive for the water, ending any hope of escape...the male, is still sleeping peacefully as his companions bleed out thier last on the barroom floor.

Resist sleep: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (13) + 6 = 19 - bartender
The male who went scrambling for the relic quickly falls asleep, his face in the water from the aquarium, the other spare him not a look.

Ok, round 2 ... Taking the vicious hit from Jubei, the bartender clutches her side as she casts another spell, shattering the aquarium, and opening the ground below it, that done she vaults the bar and makes ready to dive into the hole left by the aquarium. Blasted by the magic missile the male gilman drops the relic and goes scrambling for it, the female dives for it however and grabs it up, Standing, she throws her spear at Harboth hoping to make a dash for the door perhaps. Atk harboth: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7. ... And misses.

After the small mug shatters the Tillman grabs up the real relic and begins to break for an exit, the woman in front of him running defense. Mean while the bartender lets out the last of a spell that causesl the lantern nearest the negoation table to flash in a brilliant burst before being extinguished Dc 15 will to avoid a brief round of blindness. My init for all 3: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (16) + 3 = 19 Bartender : casts web at the far end of the bar, leaving Jubei, Harboth, herself and the 2 gilmen free. Dc 14 reflex avoids the. She also takes a 5' step away from Jubei, mkeeping the bar and space between both of them. Gilman man: makes a break toward the dead center of the room, butting the aquarium at his back as the woman moves in front of him, pulling a wicked looking spear from wherever I forgot to mention she had it (back off, I was just waking up when they came in). The man has a nasty dirk he brandishes as he threatens to destroy the relic by dashing it to the floor.

Nodding, Nestor takes the item back from Elwyn and looks at it with a keen eye. (Appraise: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (13) + 11 = 24) Setting the item back down on the table he looks at the two Gilmen before him with a smile as they smile back and begin to stand to leave. "This is a joke right? This is worthless crap." with that there is a loud CRASH (everyone make a sense motive save to avoid being startled by the crash of the clay mug as the bartender drops it). ---
Once we've done that, I'll post what is done during the suprise round, and you all can do your Init, and rounds 1, 2 and 3...I expect everyone will be dead on my side by round 2, but lets see if I can get away with the relic just in case.

It is getting to be late when a couple enter the inn and take a seat near the aquarium, the table is a small one, with only a few chairs at it. He sets a carefully wrapped bundle on the table and then begins to wait. Pulling the hair back on both of their heads into tight pony tails shows the gills on their necks. As they sit there doing nothing but waiting Nestor slowly gets up, using his cane to balance himself as he wanders over and takes a seat.
you are from the Low Azlanti embassy, I assume.. He says, waiting for confirmation. Taking the small package from out of his pouch he sets the Lodge artifact before himself. Requesting permission to inspect the other artifact he carefully unwraps what appears to be a very old tablet of some sort. Turning it over in his hands as he inspects it. The Gilman who is seated does the same with the other artifact before smiling and setting back down re-wrapped. The woman behind him obviously there for his protection. Ooc: there is room at the table for on, if anyone would like to take a seat and aid in the appraisal of the artifact to see if we can make a deal. Appraise skill would be required for this

Jubei: she's no Rachel, but she wouldn't get kicked out of a decent club. Marisan:nothing special, just waiting for the shift end end so I can get back home for the night. . Up close you can see the gills on her neck, she's a gilmen herself. Jubei: nothing to rough, fairly quiet night all things told. She is smiling, but she's been smiling at all the drunks tonight.

Drinks are served and the group settles in. Locals come in for a drink before heading home and sailors come and go as ships put in to port. The bartender ships out drinks and flirts with the sailors safe behind her bar from their groping hands. The barmaids have no such protection and they take their pinches, and wandering hands as they short the sailors thir change while they wander table to table. Nestor keeps an eye on the door, watching for the gilmen to bring in their package to see if a deal can be made. After the first beer goes down he orders another but nurses it as he waits.

It is a gloriously boring 12 hour trip from Piers End to Eacadar. Upon arrival the captain points you to Grindylow's Goblet before heading below deck to check on the hull. The sounds of a busy tavern echo off the wooden walls of this unusual building. Resting precariously over Escadar’s harbor, the Grindylow’s Goblet offers an unequaled view of the water. In the bar’s center, a thick glass aquarium presents a striking display. Within the tank, a coral statue of a goblin with the lower body of an octopus hosts a school of colorful fish that flit about the nooks and crannies of its tentacles. Two servers wander the floor offering meals and drinks to the customers and yourselves. An attractive woman tends bar behind the counter. Nestor smiles as he enters and takes a look around before limping over to a center table and setting his cane besides himself to enjoy a beer while you wait.

Heading down to the docks it is not hard to pick the three ships from the rest of the fishing vessels. The Larry, The Moe and The Shemp. You can approach each of the vessels to see who is willing to take you over Ooc: or I can put you on a boat and tell you the price.

Nestor pays for the rooms for the evening, a room to himself and the other 3 rooms in the inn to the rest of you. Morning comes early as the cock crows in the yard and the day blooms rainy and dreary. As the lot of you slowly wake up Nestor is already down beow finishing his breakfast. there are three ships large enough to take the lot of us, they should be easy enough to spot. I'll let you all go make arrangements while I wait here out of the rain. he says with a smile.

You guys suck, you know that. Before the Bog Mother can even shriek out that her faithful companion is dead she joins the croc in the afterlife, her 'children' will now have to grow up motherless. A quick search of the place reveals little of value, a auickbsearchnof the body finds a wand (clw) and a few gems, but little else. In the back of the log/house you find a small patch of thistles in uneven rows, but no children can be found anywhere. Nestor, feeling so close to your goal urges the group forward to Piers End. The rest of the day goes in misery as every type of biting insect seems to live in this swamp, and all of them seem to be after you all. But by dusk your small band trudges into the sleepy town of Piers End. The town itself isn't much to see, an inn, a tiny storefront, a few homes and a miserable little pier. But, it is the fastest way to get to your destination. Nestor informs you that here you will need to find safe passage to the isle across the channel so that your task can be completed...but tomorrow is soon enough for that he calls as he heads toward the inn, a bath, and a real bed.

Screaming in draconic about not letting you have her babies the old woman/kobold whistles. At the same time the swamp next to you erupts and a croc lumbers towards you. IOC: croc is using the kobolds init...crazy old bat. Sorry....you really want to have this encounter after I re-read it :) Elwyn: Good thing you didn't take the gold earlier, it would have been ugly for everyone.

The sound of humming and soft singing stops for a moment, then resumes and grows louder. Grmbling in draconic the door is opened and quite a sight greets you. A kobold in little more than rags and a wolfskull as a hat greets you, she steps forward and looks up at you before deciding she doesn't like the looks of you as she screams you can't have my babies! 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6 init for bog mother and snapjaw And yes Jubei, the kobold is evil....and not right in the head

Flipping a coin into the offering bowl Nestor shrugs and gives a sheepish grin What, it can't hurt anything, right? Marching on thru the mountain trail it soon gives way to the northern swamps. Thick blobs of fog dance in between large tickets as the foul stench of swamp gas pollutes the air. Several exotic species of vines twist along the vapor-shrouded path, creating an ethereal seeming tangle. At random intervals, a splash of fetid water sounds in the distance, signaling the presence of frogs or other bog creatures. A large log rests across a dirt path, standing five feet tall. A moldering wood door covers one of the hollow ends of the log, and a makeshift mud chimney emits a thin wisp of blue smoke. From behind the crude house come the sound of someone humming an off-key tune.
