No worries, GM - there's a lot to keep track of! And thanks so much for running this - I had a blast. This was my first time playing Evindal since the remaster rules came out and wow he is so much more fun to play now. They really did a good job with the remastered alchemist.

GM, were all four targets of the skunk bomb sickened? If so, they don't become well again until they spend an action retching AND make a DC 21 Fort save. The benefit to not being the main target (i.e. those who only took splash dmg) only applies to the initial save (i.e. their result is one stage higher than whatever they rolled) but if they are sickened as a result of that they still need to spend an action to retch. Even if Red with the Black X successfully got rid of his sickened with a retch action, he should have still been slowed for at least that one round, leaving only one action to advance? (Skunk bombs are awesome, especially when the foes cluster together! :-) )

If Shayla acts before anyone in initiative they are OG to her due to Surprise Attack (unless they have Deny Advantage). So essentially my 20 was a 22 (or their AC is 2 less)

Ten minutes is enough for Evindal to recover 2 versatile vials so he starts this fight with 5 (of 6) available.

GM, I presume that this encounter relates to an open investigation (how to repel the Aspis Incursion), in which case Devise a Stratagem will be a free action. In addition, once during this fight Evindal can use a reaction (Clue In) to give one of his comrades a +1 circumstance bonus on a check relevant to this investigation. This is hard to do in PbP so comrades please feel free to make use of this. Just note it in your post since I can only do it once every 10 minutes.

Lastly, are all the foes here human? humanoid?

Seeing that the Black Ooze is nearly destroyed, Evindal decides to focus his fire on the White one, trusting that the splash damage will be sufficient to finish off Black.

If this bomb takes Black out then for the subsequent bombs Evindal will use his bomber specialization to only do splash dmg to his target (thus avoiding any further splash to the Book).

GM, good catch about Devise a Stratagem. I thought it only applied to the next Strike, not the entire round, so I would indeed have stuck with Blue for my second bomb. If I may retcon slightly: I would have used a second Alchemist's Fire for that second bomb rather than an Acid Flask, since a hit with the Acid Flask on Blue would have had negligible effect since Blue already had 4d6 persistent acid. If that's ok, and if 21 was sufficient to hit Blue then the damage would have been:

Evindal will maintain two investigations moving forward: 1) how to defeat the Aspis Incursion? and 2) what really happened to the ruined dwarven cities?

GM, just checking the bomb math. If the first bomb was a crit on Purple it should have taken 20, not 16 (8x2 + 4 from the splash). And if the 2nd bomb was a miss but not a crit miss then Purple should have taken another 5 dmg from that bomb, for a total of 25 dmg. Please disregard if there are other factors but just wanted to be sure you weren't missing out on the splash dmg since it's such a huge part of what alchemists do.

Just to clarify: Evindal made 3 Moderate Dark Vision (1 hour duration) as part of his Advanced Alchemy (so they can be used whenever you want during this day) and gave them to: Mrs. Perkins, Shayla, and Henri (the first three who asked). He's also given everyone a Sea Touch Elixir (that could have been consumed before entering the water) which gives a swim speed 20' for 10 minutes.

Before entering the water Evindal quaffs his own two elixirs (darkvision and sea touch), as well as the potion of water breathing of course, so that he'll be able to see and maneuver in the murky water.

Evindal swims forward to be able to see the creatures and then quickly hurls two bombs, both designed for underwater action!

I don't think there is an Alchemical Item that Evindal can make at this level that will give the ability to breath underwater. There is Oxygen Ooze but it's uncommon.

Evindal happily receives the Lesser Healing Potion. He also quick alchemy crafts Elixirs of Life to heal his damage (11 hp) and that of any of his comrades who are still wounded.

Learning that they will be heading into a flooded area, after they rest Evindal changes his alchemical preparations for the day. Advanced Alchemy: 5 Sea Touch Elixirs (grants user Swim speed 20' for 10 minutes), and gives one to each member of the party (besides himself since he can quick alchemy one as needed); this leaves 3 advanced alchemy items - unless there are other requests he'll craft three moderate darkvision (1 hour duration) and give them to whomever would like them.

When the group approaches the water, Evindal quick alchemy crafts a Seat Touch Elixir and a Moderate Darkvision for himself (2 of 6 vials used) and consumes his potion of water breathing before heading into the water.

Investigate as his exploration activity, with two investigations continuing: what happened to the dwarven cities (new) what is to be found within and beyond the water? and (continuing) how to deal with the Aspis? (reminder that Evindal gets +2 circ bonus to Perception for Initiative and wins ties).

Evindal quickly concocts a Comprehension Elixir for himself and any of the other party members who do not read Dwarven. Then he settles into the chair to study the books.

After reading for some time he decides that he really needs to be investigating what happened to the two Dwarven cities. Setting aside the previous investigation into the nature of the labyrinth and beginning a new one: "What happened to the Dwarven cities of Raseri Kanton and Jernashall and how does the past relate to what we are finding here now?" He still has a second open investigation regarding the Aspis Incursion and how to defeat it.

As he studies he also crafts and quaffs a Moderate Cognitive Mutagen, offering one to anyone else who would like it.

Evindal turns to Henri. "If you've got a free hand I could use a bit of patching up as well." Evindal is down 11 from the gas earlier in the encounter. He has Medicine as well, but not that great at it so he'll defer to Henri if he can heal another person.

If 20 minutes pass before the next encounter Evindal will be back to his full allotment of versatile vials.

Evindal studies the tripwire carefully and adds it to his notebook of clues regarding the Aspis incursion. He similarly takes some time to look around at the Labyrinth, continuing his investigation of its nature.

Evindal did both Knowledge checks back here, learning "all of them are undead, incorporeal spirits. He knows the three ghosts are resistant to physical damage except for ghost touch, vitality and force damage. They can also moan in a way that frightens people close to them.

The mourner has a symbol of Torag embedded in her forehead, but it's been desecrated. Maybe she was a follower of Torag in life but undeath has caused her to forsake him. Divine casters can be interrupted with her reaction or to her touch. She is drawn to priests or Torag like a moth to a flame, or she may flee in terror within their presence.

He's pretty certain all of them are trying to kill the Pathfinders."

On a miss bombs only do splash dmg to the primary target (Red in this case) and because of Evindal's Alchemist Goggles the splash dmg is 5 on a miss instead of 4. He has to actually hit to also do splash dmg to the adjacent enemies.
