Interesting - so it wasn't actually immune to Acid, but with hardness 10 it would only have made a dent if you rolled an 11 or 12. Huh. Tough fight for sure.

GM, any particular skill checks to discern what the rune is or how to disarm it if needed? Besides his own skills for Recall Knowledge (with +1 from On The Case), Evindal will also give a +1 (Clue In) to whomever would be best suited to disarm it.

"Also, we'd best patch up the wounded. Who's hurt?" Evindal is not well suited to Medicine - just reminding to make sure we heal the wounded before going through the door.

Evindal wants to use the control panel we were told about to turn off the pillar of fire but I'm unclear about whether I've even found it now that I'm in the SW corner of the room? Does it require a Seek action? Once I find it, do I need to use skill checks (I offer Thievery +12, Crafting +13, Engineering Lore +11)? I'll be busy with visiting family for the next few days so please bot my turns as needed so I don't slow things down.

Evindal's 3rd action will depend on whether he can try to disable the pillar of fire on the control panel from his current position (and if so, what sort of action it requires), or whether he needs to Stride again in order to get right into the actual corner to be able to use the control panel. If neither is the case (his current position is ok but two actions are needed to work on disabling), then he will use his final action to try to Recall Knowledge on the enemies.

Evindal will begin two investigations: first, discovering who has invaded the Grand Lodge, and why? Second, tbd depending on which of the two missions the group decides to pursue first. GM, when we start encounters will you please tell me whether the encounter relates to one of Evindal's active investigations? It matters because Devise a Stratagem becomes a free action when "the creature you choose is the subject of a lead you’re pursuing." Also, Evindal gains a +1 Circ bonus to skill checks and Perception (including initiative) when related to one of his investigations. Also, Evindal can "clue in" (as a reaction) one ally for a +1 circ to a check related to one of the investigations, once every 10 minutes. Since this can be unwieldy in PbP, when Clue In can be used, I'll just say in advance that I'll give the +1 to whomever posts first. Hope that makes sense and let me know if there are any questions.

Btw, Evindal has the Investigator Dedication so he'll be trying to Pursue a Lead when he can. Among other things, this means he can Clue In one ally to give a +1 Circumstance bonus to relevant Perception, skill checks, or Initiative. That can be tricky to handle in Play By Post so when possible I'll just give the +1 bonus to whomever posts first.

Also, GM, when relevant Evindal will use the Investigation exploration activity (e.g. when following Pursue a Lead) but the macro sheet gives me a +0 if I enter Investigation so I've put Search instead. But when possible I'll use Investigation (which I think would mean rolling whatever Knowledge skill would be relevant for initiative instead of my mediocre Perception).

I have two backfire mantles to give to two frontliners. Basically they protect you from the splash damage from my bombs.

I also have Cold Iron Blanch (Lesser) x4 and Silversheen x4 to distribute to our martials. These are not "free" resources (I crafted them during downtime) so please don't use them unless they will be useful (but in that case definitely use them! That's what they're for!).

And I can craft (for free, as part of daily prep) some Hunting Spider Venom poison if there is anyone who would like to make use of it.

Hmm, well I can definitely see the argument that a striking rune wouldn't do anything for a bomb that doesn't have damage dice, but for those that do - an alchemist's fire, say - it's hard to see - raw - why they wouldn't apply. Of course normally you would never bother putting a striking rune on a bomb because who wants to spend the gold for it and then blow it up on a consumable, but in this case it would (finally) give bombs some more oomph. But I'm not sure that this is what the designers were intending. It would be great to get some official clarification before this spawns a hundred rules lawyer tables.

Not sure if anyone will even see this post since I'm a bit late but just catching up now.

For downtime (12 days), Evindal first tries to finish the batch of 4 silversheen that he previously started crafting. He has already spent the 12 gp of raw materials (for half the cost) and the initial amount of time, and has already reduced the balance due (12 gp) by 3.7 gp, so there is currently 8.3 gp needed to complete.

Crafting DC 16: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (8) + 12 = 20 Level 3 and expert in Crafting, so a success reduces the cost by 5 sp per day. He uses all 12 days of downtime to reduce the balance due by 6 gp.

The four silversheen are not yet complete but only need 2.3 gp of further crafting to be completed.
