Eser's brow furrows; she thinks over a raft of animals - largely harmless - before her gaze settles on Grasz. "A crocodile!" Shall we go swat them?

Eser stares at the nearest pillar and stamps one clawed foot, and then another. She clacks her beak and thinks back to the time when she was a young broodling, climbing on the half-submerged temple ruins near to her sacred tree. She had clambered up a moss-covered column, weathered and cracked with eons of passing days. Reaching the top, Eser raised her arms in victory and hoppped, letting loose a long victorious squwack. Of course, the column cleaved, and Eser tumbled from the top, pride and rump bruised.

It wasn't much, but then her tribe really didn't have much to do with pillars in their day-to-day lives, so it would have to work. And it did: Eser's neck flashed with heat, her eyes narrowed. She stamped and clacked again.

Stupid columns! Er pillars! Always lagging about, being dangerous!

Raising her khakarra, the barbarian brought it into the nearest pillar with all her might, and then again and again.

Figure we don't need to roll things out since rage is pretty much on demand?

This is a good point and yes, I understand that there's no limit to rage as well. So, are folks OK to destroy the columns and handwave the destruction? I don't want to post that Eser is doing this if 1) folks aren't in agreement and 2) there wouldn't be complications that the GM would want to take into account.

That is strange that a wheelchair is considered a medical device. I would consider it a transit device myself.

^This is a good point. I am in favor of dismantling it. Eser can rage and beat the DR pretty handily if we want to destroy them, but it would be loud.

"Ohhhhhh," the birdbarian stage-whispers. "Or not a fight at all, but a tricksy trap! We shall not get too close, within five feet, say! And if we do set it off, we must manipulate the remaining posts in order. Or destroy them!"

Just a note that Eser's readied actions were to 1) rage when someone comes into reach and 2) hit them. Since all the baddies threw spears, Eser has not yet raged. Eser's AC is 17 and the second hit is actually a miss.

Realizing they are about to spring into action, she puffs her feathers and draws her khakarra, stretching as large as she can. "I shall raid the room with you! Together, the kobolds will fall before us like... rain off a rat!" she finishes, rather rushed and hushed (for Eser), realizing that Pfil has already loosed her arrow.

Thanks for kind words. I live close to Baja MX and get over for some Mexican beers and seafood whenever I can (though admittedly I prefer Pacifico to Corona). Mexican lagers definitely beat the disease!

As mentioned in discussion, I think it depends a bit on how long it has been since our last short rest, which I don't really know. I'll go ahead and roll for the beak dipping regardless - I think even with the short rest, however long it is, 4 hp aren't going to last long.

Eying the altar with one wary eye, Eser dips her beak into the water and drinks deep. I am strong! she thinks. I shall not vomit on my friends!

Regarding rest, it is 10 minutes but if I'm understanding correctly can't be done but once every hour. So I think it is GM's call as to how long it has been since the last short rest. I don't have much of an idea myself :)

I'm fine if folks don't want to wait around for healing, and Eser can drink from the fountain as well. If she goes down, she goes down - y'all will figure it out I'm sure!

And yup, there's another fort save coming at some point as well.

I delayed because we were still talking at that time. It obviously was headed for a fight (hence, initiative) but Eser is not going to attack them first. Which they hadn't at the time I posted. Since I am traveling, I figured best to post and delay Eser than not post and potentially delay everyone. My apologies for annoying you.

Eser pushes into the room next to Rik'tik. Best to be close in case the negotions went sour. Which it looked like it was, but the kobolds hadn't actually committed any violence yet. The tengu of Eser's tribe often puffed their feathers in confrontation. Perhaps this was similar? A negotiating tactic or a bluff. "WHY. ARE. YOU. ANGRY?" Eser yelled in Taldane, speaking loudly and slowly.

Traveling at the moment and don't have much time today. Is delaying a thing in PF2? If so, Eser will do that until after the kobolds act.

That sucks, GM, sorry to hear you're having house/rodent/snake issues. June in the southeast, must be getting warm and humid there. Do the rodents go indoors or outdoors in the summer? Maybe they'll all head outside soon and you'll get a break to patch things up?

Here in Southern CA our cloudy season is about over and then rattlesnake breeding season begins. Good times. One of our student workers stepped on one on campus last summer (she didn't get bit, thankfully).

How a magic weapon bonus works is not +1 to damage. It is +1dX where x is your normal weapon damage die. So, you'd be rolling 2d12+normal bonuses
