Reading more of the gameplay, my concept doesn't work. I withdrawal. Enjoy the game! May the Jawas be with you.

Can see Enzio as an Arrogant Noble, Gambler, or new Senatorial...

Elton -

Would most of the adventure be in Windsheer? Thinking of becoming a bartender, so would have a job tending bar in the evenings until he was able establish a bar to delegate day to day work...

Character concept: Enzio waking up with no memory, but sleeping in the best cabin/stateroom of the Kanga Tor. Some hasty decorations and modifications made to provide him with suitable accommodations - a luxury bed, wet bar, restroom upgrades. Apparently he had hired out the ship, as the receipts confirm, revealing his name. But not his mission.

Armed with a credstick, businesswear (various days worth), a concealed blaster, a computer that he doesn't remember passwords to, and his considerable wits... and no idea as to why he hired the Kanga Tor or who he represents (a Hutt, a Corporation, a Government, or doing a daring con?).

Potential Plot Threads: Late to a meeting in the Red Barren, a Power Broker without his information, on vacation from his Corporation which comes looking for him when he is a no-show.

Multiple Bartenders, Stock Brokers, Blackmailees, Board of Directors all concerned why he hasn't returned their calls.

Best of luck everyone!

I trust you'll have fun.

Would Toni have gotten one of Musk's flamethrowers?

What you need, if you're doing that yourself, is a recently graduated Mechanical Engineer with time on her hands to help design and do the work
Hm, it IS a lot of equipment to set up and maintain. I don't think Chloe would be able to pay much, maybe a partnership of some kind?

Declan likes that Toni is pursuing her dream of Space via Beverages while she earns her spot at SpaceX, even if the Musk doesn't deserve her... Particularly beverages that Declan consumes on a daily basis.

A Druid of the Green sounds like a brilliant idea. Command Sand, Water, and Grass, the three elements of golf!

Raises a Pintail Pilsner in salute before taking a drink.

I am looking towards Declan Ashton being a Charismatic Druid... The nature allure is too compelling.

Feedback?

"I take it that I should be impressed by you being the High Priest to Grick of North America, Reborn in this Century to Reverse the Destruction of the Ecosystem and Political Corruption in Washington DC, prepared to take out a Battalion of Troops from The United States Armed Forces from Fort Bragg that would stand in Your way?" Declan sighs, taking off his Nike cap. Attempting to run a hand through his hair, realizing he hasn't taken off the golf glove. Frowns slightly as he bites a tip of a glove finger to pull it off, then to drop the glove in his cap. Slightly smiles as he is now able to run a hand through his hair.

"Well, it doesn't. You caught me having a Pintail Pilsner in celebration. You see I just shot a 63 on a par 72.4 course, ensuring that I am able to retain membership in the North California Golf Association. This puts me into a Round Robin Opportunity during the next PGA Tournament that has an odd number of players..." Declan pauses, not bothering to focus anymore on the Strange Fellow that Probably Resorts To Violence. "I hope they don't play at Poppy Hills. I don't have anyplace to stay if it is out of town." Takes a little sip of the Pilsner, shaking his head at the bartender that is gesturing if he needs assistance.

Turning his attention back to the Strange Fellow that Probably Resorts To Violence. "When you said 'Of North America, do you include Pebble Beach, California as Yours too? Like have a Cathedral, Shrine, or back room of a Bar that I sleep at? Even a couch in a Worshipper's apartment? If so, you suddenly have my attention."

Beer and Golf go hand in hand. Declan will take Pintail Pilsner or when he is trying to regain his Luck, the Pig Dog Porter.

Love all the businesses could gain clientele with a little marketing by way of corporate sponsorship.

Kicking around working with Antonia 'Toni' Smith, working with her and her mechanical engineering skills to develop a great golf club schematic. Thinking a driver.

From Campaign Page:

Declan would be respectful to Benjamen Hemlock, Sonoma County Sherriff, since he is brother to Gary Hemlock, Owner of the Links at Bodega Harbour and Bluewater Bistro.

How close are the brothers? Would Benjamen stop in at the 19th Hole (Club House) to visit with Gary?

1. Declan Ashton
2. Human - Unknowing Cleric of the California Sun God. Declan is granted spells from the Sun God, but isn't skilled at Organized Scammy Religions. Maybe make Profession Golfer checks instead of Religion?
3. Avid Golfer who is trying to get into the PGA circuit.
4. Declan loves the outdoors, especially on a sunny day. He is at peace while out in nature under the Sun's blessing. He really feels at home in the manicured greens of the Golf Course. He doesn't care for 8 hour days in the office or traffic jams. And Fax machines are for the office drones. If Declan is not at a Driving Range, the Greens, or even having drinks on a buddy's boat he is not happy. After moving out of his parents' Reno Condo and into a Fraternity Brother's boat in the Marina he has never felt better. He doesn't have to wear a tie.
5. The Fishing Festival will be the event! Declan Ashton can do all his favorite things: boating in the evening, play in the Golf Tournament at Links at Bodega Harbour, have some beers while connecting with potential clients.

Declan is always available to make that fourth to get a Golf group. So far he hasn't had to resort to being a Caddy, but has done errand for his Fraternity Brother who lets him stay on his boat in the Marina. (Or can trade the starting car for a Boat that is docked at the water front of the house in the HOA that surrounds the Golf Course. Think Thomas Magnum vibe at the Robin's Nest from Tom Selleck's Magnum PI) He does some Golf Lessions for Members through the Pro Shop.

Declan knows people through Golf. Potential Connections:

Can see Zania Sheridan with her Travel Agency being interested in Links at Bodega Harbour.

Since Sona Tanaka is looking to build or buy a home, why not one of the 725 Ocean Facing Homes in the HOA surrounding the Golf Course? Be the envy of your friends and family.

Miss Ruthie owning Rentals in the HOA. The golf course is the centerpiece of a community of 725 custom built homes overlooking the Pacific Ocean.

Adoram "Eddie" Brodenberg can be playing at the Blue Water Bistro Restaurant in the HOA.

Trying to talk Johnny "Mash" Ramirez and Antonia 'Toni' Smith into a Charter Boat and Golf business. Their folks have the fishing experience... why throw nets and get grubby when you get a boat and charter some rich folks for fishing one day and then Golf the next?

Enzio the swordsman, listens intently to the conversation around him. Enjoying the mixed opinions of the Wood Creek. A slow smile is hidden as he take a drink from the mug of ale.

His blue eyes scan the crowd, seeing the ones likely to be Prey ad which ones would be Predator. The defense of a village will need a strong sword arm when defending or attacking potential threats. If the group is too competent, that would potentially mean less adversaries to spill blood.

He enjoys this primal feeling, realizing that this Village will never be the same once this group gets through with it.

Whether it be to fire from the fireplace, or his own burning need, Enzio's blue eyes sparkle with fierce elation.

Enzio.

Three word description.

Deluded, Elegant, Menace

Enzio is one of the local militia who earns his living working in the Watch. He enjoys a fight, so is always looking for the proper fights that better the community. He'll go on patrol, help train villagers with weapons, guard wagons as they move through the territory.

He lives on a broken down barge on one of the unused docks of the town.

If asked by someone who controls the Watch or Militia, maybe someone of wealth that wants a conversation... "We would want to build the wall around the city. It would protect our people when raiders attack or invaders try to take our harvest." Those that have a decent sense motive know that is a total lie. The raiders and invaders are even mixed up.

A wall around Wood Creek means that Enzio would be protected while he sleeps. But the invaders would still come. The raiders would still raid. A monster would burrow into the Keep, and that would cause more fighting...

To trusted friends, or if he thinks there is opportunity to be honest, or if he gets slightly drunk..."If we want peace and security, we need that Keep. While I like the fighting that the town here provides, I have to be honest with you... For Wood Creek not to be Prey, we need that Keep from a reputation standpoint, from an intimidation standpoint.

Nobles are taken seriously because they have land and castles. Raiders, bandits, river pirates look to our town as Prey because we don't project our ability to defend what is ours.

Once the Keep is established, then the functions of the city could start to migrate there, buildings torn down here and rebuilt there. So another community is protected underneath our Flag.

For a successful City State to be established, we would need a Fortified Central Hub, then other smaller communities surrounding the Hub to offer support, trading partners, early warning of Marshaled forces.

To start on becoming a Power within the territory, the interior between Wood Creek and Forest Keep can be protected farmland.

Trade and Resource Management are important. Wood Creek has the docks for Trade. The Forest Keep is on that Cliff thing overlooking the River, so a dock area would be difficult to build there.

For me to be happy, a wall around Wood Creek means I get to kill bandits and raiders, satisfy my need for violence. Because a walled town without a Keep screams of the Desperate. And I like to kill those that Hunt the Desperate."

Enzio relations with others:

Scipio Valiere
Enzio makes his purchases from the store Scipio runs, because Enzio enjoys the conversation of the latest adventure that Scipio has done. No way you stole ole Man Haskins's smoking pipe. How the hell are you going to get that back to him without getting caught?

Calwynen
Hate that man. He killed my cat. No, tortured my cat to death while I was day dreaming watching the currents of the river. One of these days, no one will break up our fight. No respect for the man, but can respect the strength of the men he runs with.

Brynderie del'Agost
Could never afford anything made by a del'Agost. Always admired the replicas the Senior made, but because Father was a travelling merchant, never stayed in Daggerford much as a child. Always on the move, but enjoyed looking at wares when Father sold off items to Senior del'Agost when in Daggerford. Never noticed the Brynderie as Father only dealt with Senior del'Agost.

Enzio lives outside the walls of Daggerford on a run down barge docked at what appears to be an abandoned pier. Enzio eagerly joined the Militia to ensure that he doesn't get kicked out of the barge. He doubts that the barge would actually function on the river, but it is his. Even if it is falling apart around him. He claimed it as his. He is quite stubborn in his possession of the pier and barge. So far he hasn't had to do anything too drastic to keep it.

His sword skill sets him apart from the common laborer just doing the mandatory Militia work. Enzio is a fighter, who works primarily in the Militia, trying to work that into a full time job. Depending on the law and custom of Daggerford, Enzio has approached or has been approached by wealthier residents to pay Enzio to take their 3 days of the month shift on the Militia.

Not too many Militiamen offer to patrol the docks outside of the walls. His best friend is Kevin the River Master (Harbor Master except on a River) who has noticed that Enzio always defends this area during evil invader attacks. Kevin hasn't made the connection yet to why Enzio has refused to deal with Duke Pwyll’s soldiers, instead training with other Militiamen.

During time off, Enzio is trying to repair the dock and his barge. Dreaming of setting up a fishery off his pier.

Truly for Enzio, greatness has to thrust upon him.
