Enzio |

Character concept: Enzio waking up with no memory, but sleeping in the best cabin/stateroom of the Kanga Tor. Some hasty decorations and modifications made to provide him with suitable accommodations - a luxury bed, wet bar, restroom upgrades. Apparently he had hired out the ship, as the receipts confirm, revealing his name. But not his mission.
Armed with a credstick, businesswear (various days worth), a concealed blaster, a computer that he doesn't remember passwords to, and his considerable wits... and no idea as to why he hired the Kanga Tor or who he represents (a Hutt, a Corporation, a Government, or doing a daring con?).
Potential Plot Threads: Late to a meeting in the Red Barren, a Power Broker without his information, on vacation from his Corporation which comes looking for him when he is a no-show.
Multiple Bartenders, Stock Brokers, Blackmailees, Board of Directors all concerned why he hasn't returned their calls.

Dartel Tarkin |

I believe that at this juncture, any others on the Kanga Tor are to be crew, with their memories intact. (The memory wipe is apparently due to their recent past.)
That said, and for general guidance, we could use someone with some Mechanical skills -- non-starship piloting skills (i.e. repulsorlift ops), starship shields and/or gunnery (we have Dartel for piloting, Tavin for sensors, and Rel for shields and gunnery -- but Rel can't run both, so having a backup there would be good). (We also need an astrogator, but hey.)
The other area is the Bargain/Command/Investigation/Search side of Perception. So an Arrogant Noble (#1, 'cause landspeeder!!), Gambler, Old Senatorial, Retired Captain, or even a Pirate would work as a baseline template to spin off. (Note that the Tor is Rebel-associated; any transport job they took would have been as cover for coming to the planet, and said passenger would've been bidden farewell -- unless they were Alliance, of course!!)

GM Therenger |

A lot of interest in the game is a good problem to have. With Dartel and Drifter already in (although I'm not seeing Drifter post in Gameplay yet, so...) we have room for one more. Silas Frey, Enzio, and St'Reme, please tighten submissions in the next day or two.
Dartel has it right - prefer humans and no force sensitives. Whatever you choose to do with your character, make it work with the existing narratives.
In case anyone else happens by this thread, I have to say we're closed once the final character is chosen from among these latest three interested players. Thanks!

Khal Vila |

Khal had an aptitude for electronics from an early age. He graduated and started working for corporations doing mundane things, but old friends asked a favour and soon he was moonlighting doing slicing for ne’er do wells. The double life started to catch up on him and he went for the job that was more fun. Fun, but he did good work. Sometimes too good and now he’s out here avoiding people who know what work he did and what he could reveal.
Though looking over characters I wonder if you need the tech/streetwise so revising.

The Wyrm Ouroboros |

See this post for what I figure the team can use, and my guess at the templates that would work best for those areas.

Khal Vila |

Looking at potential of
Bacta Smuggler - best stat Dex, then per, mech and tech
Disgraced House Guardsman - best stats Dex and str, then per and tech
Outlaw Tech
Saber Rake - possibly best fit as he’s a Noble type- best stats Dex, then per and kno
Or a Speeder Racer
On that basis then
Khal of the House Vila is that 3rd son who the family never really knew what to do with. Not the heir, not the spare so he’s been looking for excitement, a role and with all of that comes bravura hiding insecurity. He hasn’t really figured who he is so has an exaggerated sense of honour to hide his confusion behind. It was that honour that got him into saber duels and he will seek ways to find fame and glory, when what he really needs is a cause that he can actually find his worth.

I would think a foil rake would specialize in lightfoil (is lightfoil a lightsaber specialization? Lightsaber has specializations for the other unusual ones ...) over blaster (note that a sporting blaster pistol uses blaster: sporting blaster, not blaster: blaster pistol), especially considering that it presumably uses the lightsaber rules (e.g. Difficult (20) roll to hit, and including the 'if you miss by 10, you've attacked yourself' rule) ...
Up to you, though.

Lightfoil wasn’t on list of specialisations in the rule book but definitely would.
