I have been watching this thread for a little while just to see how it plays out. I had the same concept running through my head a while back, but never took the initiative on it. You all have some great ideas here, and I would love to be involved on some level. Whether it be GMing, playing a character, or perhaps running an important NPC or villain, though there are logistical issues with that as Jen pointed out.
Alright, well that rounds out the group of four. Recruitment is closed! Zontsune, go here.
I'm currently recruiting players for the Star Wars: Edge of the Empire Beginner Box to be played PbP on roleplayinggames.net, who have a Star Wars dice roller built into their forums. You don't need to own the beginner box, or necessarily have any experience with Edge of the Empire. This is because we'll be learning the game as we go. The only requirement is that you be able to make at least 5 meaningful posts per week. I'd like to end up with about 4-6 players. If you're looking for something new to try, this game is absolutely excellent. Here are the pre-generated characters. It's first come first serve! So far only 41-VEX has been taken. Please note that the character backgrounds are all the way at the back of the documents.
orokos.com has a good Edge of the Empire dice roller you can link. I have some other players too who expressed interest on the FFG Forums.
Maybe there is a group of people who are in a prime place to conquer the whole of Alara with the empire in disarray. The know that the king is still alive and are looking to track him down and kill him to make sure he doesn't return and reunite the nation before they make their move. They could be hired by the group to track down a clue to where the king is without their knowing! Eventually along the road they would catch on and maybe work to thwart them, or find the king before they do.
I'm going to be starting a homebrew Pathfinder campaign with a sandbox feel for some friends of mine. I've never run a Pathfinder game before, and I don't have a lot of experience running other RPGs. I've run a few DnD 4e modules, but that's about it. We are going to start playing in a about a week or so, and I'm unsure as to how I should prepare. I'm starting small with my setting, limiting everything I prepare to the city of Lyrios, which lies on the coast of the main continent of Alara. Until a few years ago, Lyrios was part of a large empire which was ruled by a line of sorcerer kings. Then, the king disappeared, leaving no heir. Now the country is a collection of small nations and city states, all trying to carve out a piece of the former empire. I'm lost at how I should begin. I'd like to get my PCs involved doing something, but I don't want to railroad them. I would gladly appreciated any help or suggestions. General game mastering advice would also be helpful.
I'm looking for someone to GM a Star Wars Saga Edition campaign PbP. In another thread I found a couple others who had some interest, but none us want to GM, or haven't spoke up. Potential GMs
Potential Players

I short, I am very interested in getting a PFRPG game happening (perhaps I should make my own thread...). Excellent! PM if you do. I look forward to potentially gaing with you :)
