Notice to the party*
Ferdin here is going to be joining the group a a fighter (?) to add a bit more muscle to the party. Expect encounters to adjust accordingly!
Hey Ferdin great to have you on board! We could really use some ranged damage since Arthur Brimstone is a melee machine and Darlin is pretty Tankish. We've got buffing, healing, arcane, and melee fairly well wrapped up. Not trying to shoe horn you into anything, but it would help round out the party a lot. I've heard RotRL is rough, so I'd like to have all of the bases covered.

Umm... yeah... definitely have all of the bases covered.
I have GMd RotRL a few times (only all the way through once so far, but I have a group currently playing it. ATM they are level 7 and at the end of book 2 so I'm hoping they keep powering through!), and gotten to play through once. I wouldn't necessarily say it is rough... I would say it is well-rounded. You get a good bit of all different play types (dungeons, wilderness, water, murder mysteries, social manipulation, etc. etc.), and because of this it really keeps you on your toes.
All in all, it is a really fantastic campaign, especially when it is all so nicely collected in a single hard cover!
I wouldnt really say having a ranged specialist is needed as such, as long as everyone has something to contribute when ranged weapons are needed we should probably be fine. The bard is also the best candidate for having a high dex, so maybe he will go that route.
DM have you heard from him since he was selected? And can you possibly open up the discussion tab so we can keep talking without needlessly bumping the thread in the recruitment forum?

Sweet. Seeing as you're the only or in line and a melee bard is strangely exactly (sort of) what is now missing, I'm gonna have to say you're now on board. Let me know if you have any questions, wanna get a run down on the campaign so far or anything. Now I just gotta whip up some story stuff for us and well continue on!
