Dakoa stands at the side of the pit, and begins firing at the pyramid.

As Garidan says that a mere night's rest will be insufficient Dakoa repeats the procedure that brought him back to consciousness twice more over the course of a few minutes.

3 more charges of infernal healing, one cast now, one in another minute on Garidan, and then once on self.

To Garidan, "Do you or anyone else require additional healing?"

Turning to Garidan, Dakoa says "If needed I can provide additional healing to help you return to full strength over the course of a few minutes, or we could rest for you to regain your strength. As you are the worst hurt, I leave for you to decide."

Dakoa releases the wand from its spring loaded sheath and reaches out to Garidan. As a single drop of blood falls from the tip of the wand to Garidan, his wounds seem to stop bleeding, slowly mending themselves.

Grants fast healing 1 for ten rounds to Garidan.

I apologize, I thought I had already posted, and my RSS feeds are on the fritz.

Dakoa fires a shot at the object, muttering a simple incantation to enhance his arrows.

Attack roll: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (17) + 6 = 23
Damage: 2d6 + 1 ⇒ (2, 5) + 1 = 8
Acid damage: 1d3 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4

No interest in fighting the pyramid. Dakoa is gambling that because it moves on rollers, it likely wont be able to make it over the pit. So just helping the others up and only fighting the pyramid if it jumps the pit.

Dakoa confirms the rope is secured to a pillar, and then returns to the edge of the pit to help pull the others out.

Dakoa slowly advances forward to secure a rope to the nearest pillar, leaving the other end going down into the pit.

"I do have rope. It looks like those pillars would be a good anchor. Down to Garidan, Just one moment and I'll get the rope down to you.

Dakoa uses the plank to cross the pit, then proceeds to dig a rope out of his bag once across and out of the way.

Dakoa winces at the sound of cracking bones from the pit. Not knowing a quick way across, he turns and fires at the pyramid again.

Attack: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (9) + 7 = 16
Damage: 2d6 + 1 ⇒ (1, 5) + 1 = 7

Dakoa peers into the next room searching for any potential dangers before entering, bow at the ready.

Perception: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (11) + 5 = 16

Dakoa turns after helping to open the door, and fires off an an arrow dripping with acid.

Attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7
Damage: 2d6 + 1 ⇒ (6, 5) + 1 = 12
Acid damage: 1d3 ⇒ 2

Dakoa runs towards the door, trying to push it open.

Reflex: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (6) + 7 = 13
Dakoa attempts to leap out of the way. Caught off balance, he quickly recovers, firing a shot with his bow as he continues to move further down the hallway away from the small pyramid.

Attack: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (20) + 7 = 27
Damage: 2d6 + 1 ⇒ (4, 4) + 1 = 9

Dakoa follows Garridan, staying about ten feet back.

"Dakoa Lightbridge. Good to have you." He grasps Garidan's hand in a firm handshake. "I'll follow your lead then. My skills lie elsewhere."

Dakoa turns to the newcomer. "Do you have any experience with traps? Normally I wouldn't consider a pyramid like that to be dangerous, but then again, I didn't expect the floor to be either and that caved in half the passageway.

To be fair, the forums have been on the fritz and that really did slow things down.

A good trapfinder would likely be as useful, or even more so than brute strength. But we'll figure it out one way or another.

“Allright then.” Dakota walks over to lend a hand lifting the portcullis.

Dakoa releases a string of expletives as the rocks fall on him. Climbing out from under the rocks, he stands off to the side, wary of further traps. "If you need, I can try a bit of acid on the door, but it might take a while that way."

Dakoa follows Orin's lead stepping over the trap.

"If I see any squiggles that I can make out, I'll let you know. I suspect most of it will be in this picture-text though."

Dakoa dismounts, securing his camel to the outside of the building. He shrugs the bow from his shoulder and walks forward into the outer room. Shading his eyes to help them adjust to the dimmer inside light, he peers towards the darkened passageway.

Dakoa looks at Khonn, and raises an eyebrow. It's the one expression that can actually make it out from the balaclava he always wears.

"I'd settle for somewhere I can empty out my boots. Any more sand in them and there won't be room for my feet."
