Flori doesn’t see any signs of danger. She knows she can cross over on this plank that was set down. move action to perception in combat.
Krixus runs.
Garidan shouts for help.
Dakoa lowers a rope into the pit.
I don’t want to just throw your turn away, what does Garidan do? Or is that all? They pyramid is next. I’ll wait to see what you do first.
Still waiting on, Enjilo & Garidan
Garidan Hemlock
yes, that's all. I'll sit in the pit and mourn until help arrives
Enjilo Svar
Sorry about that. Feeder disappeared from my active Chrome apps, so I didn't get notifications that people had posted.
Enjilo pokes his head over the edge of the pit and says, "Give us like ten seconds. Dakoa is securing the rope as we speak. Will you both be able to climb?"
GM Deadly Secret
Garidan calls for help.
Enjilo responds with help.
They pyramid double moves.

Enjilo pokes his head over the edge of the pit and says, "Give us like ten seconds. Dakoa is securing the rope as we speak. Will you both be able to climb?"
With a surprisingly sad sounding voice, Garidan responds. You can barely understand him. "No. You need to pull Khonn's body up."
Flori
|
Flori is saddened to see the lifeless man in the pit. This is an awkward place to meet people for the first time.
I'm Flori, and this is Krixus. I'm sorry to have to meet you in such circumstances. Let us help you.
Flori will help the others with Khonn however she can.
Garidan Hemlock
I would close the door. But my decisions have proven unreliable.
Krixus, The Ghost in the Dark
Acrobatic/Jump: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (8) - 1 = 7
Reflex Save: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (15) + 7 = 22
Krixus doesn't manage to make the jump, but grabs the others side of the pit.
"little help." He looks up to the others to help him out of the pit.
Not sure how to close the doors from this side of the pit. Lets just see if it falls in. We should get the others out first though.

I would like that :)
Accelerated Climb (-5, Rope = DC 5): 1d20 + 8 - 5 ⇒ (13) + 8 - 5 = 16
assuming the pit was 30 ft seep, at least thats what I remember. double move at half speed
After Khonn's body was pulled up, Garidan gathers all his strength and hurries up the rope within one round.
Garidan Hemlock
"He...he...he didn't make it...He stopped to fight and heal us. Then he was trampled to death by the thing." Garidan stuttered. He looks at Khonn than back to the rest and pauses. Then he continues even quieter. "Maybe he was still alive, when we fell. I don't know....Oh Zyphus, you son of a b%*~$!

Tall, pink granite columns, carved and painted to resemble palm trees, stand around the perimeter of this chamber, supporting the barrel vault of the ceiling. Slabs of the same pink granite line the walls. A stone sarcophagus stands alone on the limestone floor in the center of the room. Beyond, a dark doorway leads deeper into the pyramid to the west.
Do you attempt to close the double doors? It might be tricky with the pit there. You many also roll perceptions for examining this room.
Garidan Hemlock
we probably leave the door open
Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (8) + 7 = 15 (+1 traps)
Garidan Hemlock
"Ahh, the wonders of ancient Osiriani." Garidan spent several minutes investigating the sarcophagus. He took much longer than actually needed, because he wanted to get over the sudden loss and used this time to gather himself.
If there were any inscriptions, Garidan would have read them out loud and explained the meaning to the rest of the group.
Similarly, he thoroughly investigated the walls trying to distract himself.
Eventually, without asking anyone, he tried to open the left secret door.

Post in progress!! It would be easier for me if "all" of you filled out slide 4. But now I will have to spend extra time setting up the post as I have to dig through your sheets to pull the info I need. Sorry I will have to update your post later today when I have the time to do so.
Your characters may take no more actions until I post as you spawned an encounter.

Slide 1 & Slide 5
Just as Garidan gets near the sarcophagus, it slams at him. It’s surprise action FF AC 16
Melee slam: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (13) + 10 = 23 20/x2
Hits
1d8 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 7
An thick slime exudes from this creature and Garidan is now stuck to it and in the grappled condition. This is a tricky thing to express to the player without them knowing what's happening. But basically it's like an adhesive and you can't free yourself from it until perhaps it's dead or you have a way to dissolve the adhesive.
Knowledge (dungeoneering) to see if you know anything about this creature.

I apologize, I thought I had already posted, and my RSS feeds are on the fritz.
Dakoa fires a shot at the object, muttering a simple incantation to enhance his arrows.
Attack roll: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (17) + 6 = 23
Damage: 2d6 + 1 ⇒ (2, 5) + 1 = 8

1d20 ⇒ 16
Garidan does not know what this is.
Krixus hits with both arrows and does a lot of damage to the creature.
Dakoa hits and does some damage. You notice that it didn’t take any of the acid damage.
Flori casts burning hands and the creature dodges and takes half damage.
The creature though you can’t get free from it, it still must maintain to do the following. maintains the grapple gm roll and does automatic slam 1d8 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10 bludgeoning damage and then constrics Garidan for an additional 1d8 + 6 ⇒ (5) + 6 = 11 bludgeoning damage.

A few seconds later, after the healing started and the monster was slain, Garidan's wounds closed. It took him almost a minute to regain consciousness, but finally he awoke at 3 hp.
"What was that?" he asked while searching his pockets for the last potion.
Potion CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6
He felt much better already, yet not well enough for any great adventures.
Garidan Hemlock
"The wounds are quite deep. I don't think a night's sleep is gonna help much."
