Sesi, BD mentioned we're both aasimar. That means you have at least cold resistance 5. How could you possibly be cold? ![]()

![]() Disa moves about the room, carelessly glancing at, but not really paying any attention to, the various accoutrements scattered throughout the room. At Luke's warning, she turns to the chest. "I have no abilities with locks, but let's see if there some lingering aura of magic upon the chest." Raising a hand, she invokes a single word and peers intently at the chest for several seconds. ![]()

![]() Sorry all, I selected my spells, but I then realized that without the skirnir archetype, I need to switch out all of my feats and traits. I am awaiting our illustrious liege's response to my queries. I doubt anyone would remember, but Disa is a volva, a diviner of runes. I asked BD about using words of power for my spell casting. He may have actually looked at the rules and thus may be stuck in his chair helplessly drooling down his chest. This may be what is holding him up. ![]()

I had a heart attack. The first three weeks of August sucked. Are there any specific divine spells that the group is looking for out of an oracle? CLW will be there, but are there others that are needed? ![]()

![]() Disa moves to Ragnar, pulling out a scroll as she approaches the barbarian. Unfurling the parchment, she reads out the words of magic, in a foul sibilant hissing language, and a wan red light suffuses the Ulfen. The glow malevolently pulses every few seconds as his wounds began rapidly sealing themselves. scroll of infernal healing restores 10 hp Once done, she pulls out another scroll and reads it, bathing herself in the same red light. another scroll of infernal healing restoring 10 hp ![]()

![]() I know others are before me, but I figured I'd post to get the combat moving. The map is not coming up for me, so if I cannot do this just let me know. Disa charges to back up Ragnar. Stepping up beside him, she ploughs the spikes of her shield into the disgusting creature. Improved Shield Bash: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (7) + 9 = 16 Damage: 1d6 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8 ![]()

![]() Fortitude Save: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (7) + 5 = 12 Assuming she still can... Disa cries out in pain as the monstrous jaws clamp shut on her leg. Marshaling her thoughts, the shield maiden channels her own innate resistance onto the spikes of her shield causing them to glisten with corrosive acid. Grunting with the effort, she slams into the beast with the weight of her whole body through her shield. Spiked Shield Poolstrike (acid): 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (14) + 7 = 21 Melee damage + acid damage: 1d6 + 5 + 2d6 ⇒ (5) + 5 + (4, 6) = 20 ![]()

![]() Yeah, I cannot see your charred and cornered picture nor the map tonight. I'll try again from home. No linguistics, but Disa does speak the following: Auld Iobarian, Common, Celestial, Giant, Skald At Ragnar's warning, Disa readies her skold for trouble. ![]()

![]() Perception: 1d20 ⇒ 16 Without glancing back, Disa remarks, "There was the sound of footsteps and a ragged breath, but it has now stopped. Be prepared." Disa begins moving steadily forward down the main tunnel keeping her shield up in a careful position. Maintaining total defense AC 22 ![]()
Female Aasimar Oracle of Fate (Dual Cursed) 3
![]() Preceding her two companions back out of the side passage, Disa steps out to see scorch marks in the main tunnel and smell the burned flesh. As Muli moves back to help Ragnar, she steps up, carefully stepping over the tripwire to take point. Keeping her skold up, she maintains a defense against anything coming up from the deeper reaches. ![]() Heal: 1d20 ⇒ 12 And that will do it. With a hurried glance, Disa does a double take at the bone handled blade. "That is heinous, Ragnar. That is crafted from the bone of an infant. That blade is discolored with what seems to be blood. I would guess you managed to find some kind of sacrificial tool. Not the good kind of sacrifice." ![]()
Female Aasimar Oracle of Fate (Dual Cursed) 3
![]() Perception: 1d20 ⇒ 1 "Wha-? Fell into a trap? Gah!" Disa moves farther into the passage, reaching back into her backpack as she does to retrieve her fine rope. Moving to Luke, she hands back the rope. "Here take this." She says as she keeps her eyes looking toward the main shaft and her skoldur in position in front of her. ![]()
Female Aasimar Oracle of Fate (Dual Cursed) 3
![]() Perception: 1d20 ⇒ 16 Disa shakes her head and calls in a stage whisper to the two out in the main passage, "The shield doesn't offer much protection when you stand on the pointy side of it. Come down here, racoon, from the smell of it there is carrion for you." ![]()
Female Aasimar Oracle of Fate (Dual Cursed) 3
![]() Disa gathers her will and the spikes of her shield respond, arcs of electrical energy passing between them. She slams the shield into the face of the hideous creature as it appears over the lip of the enbankment. ![]() I don't even have Knowledge (nature) to roll. At the movement of the others, Disa belatedly realizes that she is standing atop the entrance to the lair. Moving as quickly as she may, the skirnir moves to get alongside the other scildwiga in order to prepare a scildburg or bordweall.

![]() Disa impassively watches the duel, beginning to mentally calculate the weregild of each combatant based on their competency and how the loss of such will surely impact the party of the loser. Sorry, still enjoying a hectic schedule. I rolled for initiative and came in too low (11) to step between them.
