A Divine Commander Warpriest might be interesting, if the GM approves your leopard as a mount (I would.) It would add some interesting abilities.

Ooh, that’s the kind of fun I’m talking about. Too bad the Divine Commander loses the Blessings for the Mount. Maybe I’ll take 7 Ranger and dip into normal war priest at 8 to get those sweet sweet blessings

Your physical stats are wrong. One the reincarnation table, a human is treated as having +2 to Con even though you obviously put the original bonus into Dex. As a result, your Con is unchanged (as both races are listed as having +2 to Con) and your strength is reduced by -2 to 12. Your Dex should still be 19.

Pretty sure that is incorrect, per James Jacobs in this thread.

Perhaps I'm missing something, but something seems up with your ability scores. Wouldn't your CHA go up by 2 as well?

My understanding of the spell is that mental attributes don't change but physical attributes do. " Strength, Dexterity, and Constitution scores depend partly on the new body. First eliminate the subject’s racial adjustments (since it is no longer necessarily of his previous race) and then apply the adjustments found below to its remaining ability scores." Reincarnate.

One's mindset doesn't change along with their body when they're reincarnated. Alignment, disposition, etc all stay the same. You should be able to play just as you did before, albeit small. If you want to roleplay a personality change, that's fine, but not really a required thing.

I'm considering sticking with the Ranger plan too, but I thought it would be fun to try something different. Plus I've been a little bored with my one-trick pony of "I shoot three times" every turn, so I figured this would be a good reason to mix it up.

So tonight in the Mummy's Mask campaign that I play in, my LG Human Ranger(Skirmisher) 6 died. And my party members were too cheap to pay for the full Raise Dead, so they opted for Reincarnate instead. After rolling on the table, I am now a gnome. We also leveled up to 7, so I am trying to decide which path to pursue for my new gnome. She is currently focused on Rapid Shot/Deadly Aim/Many Shot archery with a +1 Holy Longbow (+2 Str). Prior to death, my human ranger was very suspicious of everyone and had the Skirmisher archetype for Ranger (no magic). She also took an animal companion (leopard) who has become a beloved character. The leopard is basically ineffective for damage, but his occasional successful trip is fantastic.

Human stats:
Str 14
Dex 19
Con 12
Int 10
Wis 14
Cha8

Gnome Stats:
Str 12
Dex 17
Con 14
Int 10
Wis 14
Cha 8

Any suggestions about what would be fun and different? I'm hoping to beg my GM to let us resize her longbow and possibly take something with an animal companion level so that I can increase the size of the leopard and ride it around the battlefield shooting arrows. But we're mostly tomb exploration, so combat movement isn't that important. I intended that she wouldn't use any magic, but now that she is a gnome, I'm thinking some spellcasting would be interesting (I'm also hoping to beg for the gnome racial spells even though she won't qualify, because they're fun and I can't imagine the harm).

This is surely too late for Zandu, but I just described this to my players as a 3-day journey up switchbacks. It seems to me that the river itself probably has multiple falls and cuts back and forth, but caravans unwilling to brave the Halflight Path can take their time there. My players had no interest when they heard there was an underground tunnel available.

On an unrelated note, I've been running this AP for the past 8 months or so and thought I'd share how I've done harrowings. I skipped the first Harrowing, but for the last three books I've made powerpoint presentations with transitions and effects to use for my players with my pre-selected cards. Then I write descriptions and have Zellara describe the scene to the players. They really enjoy the foreshadowing and it's easy to share, so I thought I'd link them.
