Perhaps I'm missing something, but something seems up with your ability scores. Wouldn't your CHA go up by 2 as well?

One's mindset doesn't change along with their body when they're reincarnated. Alignment, disposition, etc all stay the same. You should be able to play just as you did before, albeit small. If you want to roleplay a personality change, that's fine, but not really a required thing.
I'm considering sticking with the Ranger plan too, but I thought it would be fun to try something different. Plus I've been a little bored with my one-trick pony of "I shoot three times" every turn, so I figured this would be a good reason to mix it up.
