Yeah you could take it a step further and learn its true name and make it your personal slave to summon when you see fit since they just go back to their plane when they die. You just summon it in your spare time as well to torture and make sure it remembers who it serves, but when you summon devils its more of the boss sent me to help you mortals out.

This may be a little late thinking, but could we hava a minion with us. Just a lowly goblin would be fine. They could say the command word and touch us saving us the action on a round letting us pop and and start the fun. If this works I would Perform on round 3 letting it linger for rounds 4 and 5 and pop in on round 4 and possible smite and fill their leader with arrows. Let me know :)

Thats fine, I'm saying that we only guard the room where we do the ceremony and make them come to us. Nothing else in the horn matters. We don't need to chase them around it they can come to us or do whatever they want in the rest of the place as long as we keep the ritual going.

Why is dividing up and searching a better idea then bunkering down up here. We have Vexor the Golem and ourselves. If we empty out the horn of anything else of importance they can tromp around it all they want. Hell I think we should stone shape some tubes down to the different large rooms just so we can yell down taunting them as we scry and watch. Begging them to bring the fight to us before we finish our nasty ritual. Dividing up and hunting them just weakens us further and makes their attacks easier. Thats all I will say on the subject. If you give me orders I will follow.

I think we need to clear out of the lower levels for now. Lets not give them anything to disrupt or mess up. We need to continue the ritual so we station ourselves up here. This way they can't harm or distract us by being in the rest of the horn. We can keep watch with the eye. If they come back they will have to bring the fight to us.

Talon check it out and come back. We can't go rushing down at the sign of an attack it could be a destraction. We need them to funnel up to us. We can wait for them in the throne room. The only way to the upper temple is the hidden spiral stair case there right? So if they have to come that way we can lay an ambush.

Very well, but be careful. If the device does teleport you don't want to make that trip alone. You have no information on the intruder. They could be one or many. We could set a trap. Do we know or not if you can scry into here. If not then we can lay in wait I'm sure our intruder will come back again, but if they can see what is going on then we may need to take the fight to them.

I got to enter with some wealth so besides upgrading my bow I don't feel entitled to much of what you already have so didn't want to give an opinion, our groups have always worked to get what all the players want so if Cala needs stuff go for it :)

So meta magic on crafting is a gray area that is up to you as the GM. The rules for crafting being a guidline and all. It works just like if using if for the a spell. So lets look at magic missle. You could do a maximized version at CL 9 for all 5 missles for 25 damage a charge and the formula would look like making a 3rd level wand as the metamagic takes it from a level 1 to 3 spell. I guess this only effects wands and staves or items that cast spells so many times a day.

Working on leveling. Think I'm taking the Anti-Paladin level.

That is a fine story Grumblejack. I like it. It's okay, I don't think stealth will help us that much. I don't think he heard me approach the first time. He was laying in wait to ambush prey himself. The trick will be to let Sindran talk and not kill the beast or let it kill us.

I have a handy haversack, and my bracers give a +3 competence bonus to perdception. I would like to magic up my bow and armor in the future. Bow is first priority, armor doesn't matter much unless I get jumped like I just did :)

What the hell was that thing. I'm sneaking back and next thin I know its on top of me. I punched it twice. Connected pretty good it seemed, but then everything went dark.

Yes lets get out of here. We can regroup and come back. The thing seems smart. Maybe we could awaken it? Would make for an excelent guard around the Horn.
