Hey guys thought I would give you a little incentive. I've done the math and the hexes/encounters/quests you will take care of before the party regroups at Oleg's will push you to level 3. Pretty awesome gaining an entire level between the last time you left the trading post and when you return.

It is about three in the morning. Tuck had actually warned you guys about this group of bandits. Except he had the numbers wrong.

"There where two others who seemed to lead their own groups of men in the woods. One was a crafty fellow, a halfling with the name of Bennin Barrowsnatch. He's a story teller with a sharp tongue.It surprised me to see one of the small folk take to banditry but there was a cruel streak to his stories."

"The other was an elf. I only caught his first name when we dealt with him and his. Lyndalan. He showed up in the middle of the night with four other elves like wraiths. They traded compliments and left before morning."

I don't know if those hexes would get you to level three... just maybe...

A big chunk of experience in The Stolen Lands comes from completing quests, dealing with the kobolds and mites, and the stag lord.

If you guys do get to the fort before level three it's not like you have to storm it right away, might just get a good look perhaps infiltrate or scout the interior a little and return at a later date.

Those are all available to purchase. Oleg currently has 700g worth of adventuring gear in addition to his cash funds. He realizes that trappers and adventures need all sorts of weird crap. On more then one occasion he's known a fellow to purchase thieves tools to fix a few broken bear traps.
