We don't have a tactical map for this one. Just wanted to check I can colour spray without hitting my friends.

And my initiative tied with the duergar. Do players go first in such ties? Or if using the Raw, Kazushi's initiative mod is +9.

I am thinking that not knowing what to do is what makes a Role Playing game so much fun, deciding what you want to do and the consequences of that action are the crux of why most players play. You should embrace your decision making process and player ignorance as fun, or this might become a tedious experience for you.

I am here as well. Sorry for my lack, but things have been extremely crazy at work this week, and not sure if it's going to get any better any time soon. Then when I finally get home and have some free time ... well, I just bought myself a PS4 and after having been without a gaming system for 5-6 yrs ...

Having said that though, I do want to comment that it seems we frequently get some sort of 'hook' or other, example, 'Sink hole', or when we were on our way to see the town's overseer and the DM points out a house that stands out from the others, or currently a Duergar pacing in the road, but we don't get any clues as to what we are to do ... it is very difficult for me at least to figure out what I should do. If this were 3.5, I would have immediately attacked just because he's a Duergar. But I know Pathfinder changed how some races work, and I don't know what the DM is thinking either obviously ... so is he supposed to be a friendly or what? Now once we spotted the purple thingy on his neck that helps. But still not sure how to proceed honestly.

Currently I'm thinking if the color spray doesn't work, then we need to try to do NLD to knock him uncoscious maybe? And get a closer look at the purple thingy to see if it seems to be a parasite of some sort that attached itself to it or what? Maybe we can cut it off then?

Does anyone have any way to get into the duergar's mind? Like telepathy or something? We need to try to figure out is the purple thingy controlling him or is he still in control?

Anyways, just some thoughts to throw out there. Was not my intention but kinda made up for my lack of posts by quantity here?

Sorry I've been lax in posting here! A variety of issues has gotten in my way recently, but I'll try to do better.

Christaph noticing the Duergar thinks, Better watch out, they tend to be evil, vile creatures that work in groups. This could be some sort of trap.

Also, your characters don't know this, but as an Elan I only need 4 hrs of a trance-like meditative state to count as my full 8 hrs of rest. :)

I was waiting to hear an answer to what Squirm claims to see about a pattern?

When I read that Squirm is just gonna go ahead and kill the orc, I literally said "Damn" out loud! I was so surprised! I'm fine with it, I was just expecting he was actually gonna give it the 'honorable' death thing.

So to summarize, we have just picked up 8 potions of CLW, 4 potions of enlarge person, 4 chain shirts, 4 saps, and 4 warhammers. I will take the chainshirt off of our prisoner. Loading up the wagon, loading up the wagon ... :D

Christaph will check all the bodies to see if there are any clues as to what or why this happened, as well as to see if there are any valuables. He will detect Psioncs over the whole area.

As Christaph accepts the much needed help he also moves over towards the ophiduan to see if he can be of any assistance.

Christaph takes a moment to try to asses the situation and then decides to move a little to one side to get some allies between himself and the Orcs, but first he will manifest another Mind Thrust on one of the Orcs. Green if he is still alive, Yellow otherwise.

Sorry, forgot you didn't use Drawbacks. And yeah, they often seem to be almost more of a benefit rather than a drawback huh?

The source for the psionic traits can be found at this link. The book referenced is the Psionics Expanded: Advanced Psionics Guide. If you don't approve it that's fine of course. That's why I asked.

Hahahaha! I've been working on trying to get my character sheet complete again because I never did after Myth-weavers lost it. Since I don't remember what traits and drawback I had taken I've been looking over those and just found this drawback that seems PERFECT for this group! Avarice - Deep, compulsive greed gnaws at you. Effect: Whenever monetary treasure is divided, you must end up with a greater share of that treasure than your companions or you’re wracked with feelings of jealousy and ill will. When treasure is divided, if you do not end up with at least 10% more treasure than any other individual companion does, you have a hard time being helpful to your allies. You become irritable, and can’t take the aid another action for the next week.

I just find that too funny considering this groups reactions to dividing up spoils!

Also, I've come up with a BUNCH of questions for you Bob!

For one, I had forgotten about the ring of protection + 1 I bought, so my AC is currently 1 lower than it should be, but I realize that is partially my fault for not taking the time to do this sooner. Do you want me to correct it now, or shall I wait 'til this encounter is over?

Also, forgot about several items I had acquired earlier. The Psionic Restraints, do I get to know what type/level they are? Lesser, Average, Greater, or Damping?

And for the Dorje of Entangling Ectoplasm, The DC is 11 + the manifester's key ability. Is that my key ability since I'm using the Dorje? Or is that the key ability of the manifester who created the wand? I suspect the latter, and if so, may I know what that would be so that I may know the DC? or would you prefer to keep that to yourself and thus you have to remember that for every time I use that Dorje? 47 charges by the way.

Since I don't remember what traits & drawback I had originally chosen I'm trying to choose them again and I found there are Psionic traits! Would you be ok with me choosing Psigifted - basically, +1 to manifester level for one power chosen and does not change. I'd go with Mind Thrust if that matters.

And then would you say magic Traits apply to psions as well? Or could I only take 1 magic or 1 psionic? I would consider taking Distance Aptitude - Treat your caster level as 1 higher for the purposes of determining the range of spells and spell-like abilities. And would that stack with the previous one, Psigifted?

I got a little lost. Who's turn is it? I think maybe the orcs? But not sure.

Christaph will take a step backwards and make an extreme effort with his mind to invade and hurt the mind of the orc in front of him now that he is having to worry about his own life.

Manifesting Mind Thrust at the blue orc and augmenting it with 1 extra power point to increase the damage to 2d10. Here's hoping he gets a bad Will save!

DOH! I was not thinking about trying to get the Orc that overcame Kazushi's attack! Sorry! I was just so focused/dissapointed about my entangle, that I didn't even think about that.
And sorry Squirm, I was just too far away to do anything else. I'm trying to get to you and help you or stop the orcs from bothering you anymore!

Kazushi, I'm not sure how Bob's going to rule on your most recent Color spray since the orcs turn is coming up before your next turn.

Crap! I totally forgot! When I manifested the force screen that would have ended my concentration on the entanglement and it would disappear. Sorry about that! Very rarely (if ever) used concentration duration spells before! That was kinda wasted.

That would mean Red did not hit Squirm for 7 points of damage, and he would still be up with 1 HP left it looks like right?

I am sorry to hear that your having RL issues Bob! I knew something was wrong when you weren't posting. I hope the issues can be solved without too much trouble or pain!
You take whatever time you need to in order to take care of RL! We all know that RL comes first. (or at least I hope we all do!)

To save time sometimes I will roll in bulk like that. When I do, I apply the modifier off screen. Yello Saved.

Upon hearing them say they are going to concentrate on the spellcaster, and knowing that he is the only one that has given that appearance, Christaph will manifest Force Screen + 4 shield bonus to AC & it applies to incorporeal attacks - tag adjusted upon himself.

Bob, three of those saves did not beat the save DC for my entangle, so shouldn't it be that Yellow is also entangled?

I love to eat burgers and fries, steak, pasta with lots of meaty sauce, chocolate, ice cream ... basically most any kind of junk food.

Anyways, Since having lost my Character sheet to Mythweavers, I don't know exactly how much money I have, but I do recall that I spent the majority of it on stuff! So ... I'm doing good to be able to pay for my share of these supplies is about it. Certainly no bag for me regrettably!

I need to research my posts to see when I listed what I bought ... but haven't taken the time to do so yet.
