Aidan's blade sails well wide of the entangled orc.

Seeing that these opponents are no pushovers, they begins conversing quickly in orcs.

"Koncentrálj a görgő.

Orcish:
"Concentrate on the caster."

Green Orc: 1d100 ⇒ 14
Red Orc: 1d100 ⇒ 74

The red orc begins to attack himself.

Damage: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6

The blue orc tries to remove the pesky vegetation.

Str Check DC 20: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 2 = 10 But fails to do so.

The green orc and the yellow orc step out of the entangle area as the orange orc stares off into the sky.

[spoiler=Confused]A confused creature is mentally befuddled and cannot act normally. A confused creature cannot tell the difference between ally and foe, treating all creatures as enemies. Allies wishing to cast a beneficial spell that requires a touch on a confused creature must succeed on a melee touch attack. If a confused creature is attacked, it attacks the creature that last attacked it until that creature is dead or out of sight.

Roll on the following table at the beginning of each confused subject’s turn each round to see what the subject does in that round.

d% Behavior
01–25 Act normally.
26–50 Do nothing but babble incoherently.
51–75 Deal 1d8 points of damage + Str modifier to self with item in hand.
76–100 Attack nearest creature (for this purpose, a familiar counts as part of the subject’s self).
A confused creature who can’t carry out the indicated action does nothing but babble incoherently. Attackers are not at any special advantage when attacking a confused creature. Any confused creature who is attacked automatically attacks its attackers on its next turn, as long as it is still confused when its turn comes. Note that a confused creature will not make attacks of opportunity against anything that it is not already devoted to attacking (either because of its most recent action or because it has just been attacked).

Stunned:
A stunned creature drops everything held, can’t take actions, takes a –2 penalty to AC, and loses its Dexterity bonus to AC (if any).

Attackers receive a +4 bonus on attack rolls to perform combat maneuvers against a stunned opponent.

Entangled:
A full-round action to make a DC 20 Strength check or a DC 20 Escape Artist check. The character is ensnared. Being entangled impedes movement, but does not entirely prevent it unless the bonds are anchored to an immobile object or tethered by an opposing force. An entangled creature moves at half speed, cannot run or charge, and takes a –2 penalty on all attack rolls and a –4 penalty to Dexterity. An entangled character who attempts to cast a spell must make a concentration check (DC 15 + spell level) or lose the spell.

Ah! Yes, the modifier of course! Duh! Thanks for clarifying!

Upon hearing them say they are going to concentrate on the spellcaster, and knowing that he is the only one that has given that appearance, Christaph will manifest Force Screen + 4 shield bonus to AC & it applies to incorporeal attacks - tag adjusted upon himself.

Neils continues to move forward, nimbly hopping on top of the log that blocks the road. He couldn't tell what the Orcs where saying, it was hard to even know where the grunting ended and the speech began, but no doubt it was nefarious plot.

With a motion of his hand he conjures a fragment of crackling electricity and drives it through the cranium of the Orc standing just below him.

Kazushi flings a dead branch in the orcs' direction but her aim is off and it lands harmlessly to the side with a wet thump.

Christaph decides to bolster his defenses if the orcs ever get organized and mount an offensive.

Meanwhile, Neils moves forward and jumps lightly on the downed log. Sending a ball of electricity into the green orc below him sizzles the orc's flesh. An odd aroma of rancid bacon fills the air around them.

Bob? If I'm not mistaken, since it is a full round action to make the str check to get out of the entanglement, then I don't think either Blue or Red should have gotten an attack this round right? That would mean Red did not hit Squirm for 7 points of damage, and he would still be up with 1 HP left it looks like right?

Crap! I totally forgot! When I manifested the force screen that would have ended my concentration on the entanglement and it would disappear. Sorry about that! Very rarely (if ever) used concentration duration spells before! That was kinda wasted.

you can take a 5 foot step and full round action. Unfortunately the orc does not meet the criteria for that action as it is not helpless.

I got a little lost. Who's turn is it? I think maybe the orcs? But not sure.

Squirm shakes the cotton wool from its head and slowly, awkwardly looks up, it is in a sea of unconscious orc, with an ugly specimen looming.

I believe discretion may be the better part of valour

Squirm's fine where he is...

24-hour Bot, Neils is in Delay

Aidan's attack are too much for the downed orc to handle. The blue orc collapses dead to the green grass below him.

The green orc, able to withstand the dazzling display of colors, tries to make one valiant, yet evil, last stand and swings at the color shooting female.

Green Orc warhammer vs Kazushi: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (9) + 7 = 16
Damage: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11

His hammer slams into the woman's shoulder, nearly knocking her out.

The orange orc, as of yet untouched, looks at all his companions in various states of bad and decides that this is not a fight he wishes to partake in. Turning tale, he withdraws from combat.

Global Conditions:

  • Orcs <=
  • Kazushi <=
  • Squirm <=
  • Christaph<=
  • Neils <=

Current Conditions: Green Orc -35 hp, Red Orc -6 hp (Stunned and Blinded)2/2, Squirm -16 HP (At 0); Yellow Orc -7 hp (Stunned) 2/2, Christaph -9 hp, Kazushi -11 hp

Stunned:
A stunned creature drops everything held, can’t take actions, takes a –2 penalty to AC, and loses its Dexterity bonus to AC (if any).

Attackers receive a +4 bonus on attack rolls to perform combat maneuvers against a stunned opponent.

Blinded:
The creature cannot see. It takes a –2 penalty to Armor Class, loses its Dexterity bonus to AC (if any), and takes a –4 penalty on most Strength– and Dexterity-based skill checks and on opposed Perception skill checks. All checks and activities that rely on vision (such as reading and Perception checks based on sight) automatically fail. All opponents are considered to have total concealment (50% miss chance) against the blinded character. Blind creatures must make a DC 10 Acrobatics skill check to move faster than half speed. Creatures that fail this check fall prone.

Don't mean to argue with the GM, well I am but will accept your ruling, but isn't the Green Orc Stunned for a round after being Blinded and Stunned for 1d4=1 round? If so it can't wack me.

Neils hops off the log and shoulders past Kazushi. He spots the Orc fleeing but decides to let him go - for now. Instead, he piles in on the one of the still living Orcs. He swings his mindblade in a wild hack while shouting "C'mon greenskins! Where's all that piss and vinegar you had?"

As Neils unleashes a torrent of electrical energy, he fries the red orc to a crisp. It falls dead to the ground below still smoldering.

Aidain tries in vain to slow the retreating orc, but it is too far gone.

Kazushi unleashes the full force of her mental prowess and scrambles the green orc's mind. It falls lifeless to the ground, mouth open in a stupefied glare.

All that is left is a blind, stunned female orc.

Combat over - let me know what you want to do.

Kazushi moves over to Squirm. Relieved to discover he is alive, she uses her wand of infernal healing on her fallen comrade, saying:-

Kazushi applies a second infernal healing to Squirm and one to Christaph.

And thanks the GM for handwaiving the damage.

She then moves to see what state the Ophiduan who was being brutalised by the orcs is in. If he is hurt I will use infernal healing on him as well.

Thank-you miss Kazushi!

As Christaph accepts the much needed help he also moves over towards the ophiduan to see if he can be of any assistance.

"Sir, are you hurt? Can we be of further assistance?"

And after the initial questions, "This is the lady Kazushi, he is sir Neils, and that is sir Aidan and our unusual looking friend here is sir Squirm. I am Christaph. May I ask who you are and why you are out travelling alone in such dangerous times?" As he points or nods to each individual as appropriate.

Christaph will check all the bodies to see if there are any clues as to what or why this happened, as well as to see if there are any valuables. He will detect Psioncs over the whole area.
