(If you want to make a knowledge check just do it :-) Don’t wait for me to say “you can malke an X check” - just helps move a play by post faster... and again sorry for my un-announced absence this past week) The night lingers on and the others around you post their watches while the rest go to sleep. Campfires dwindle down to piles of gently glowing embers. The soft night noises of small animals and chirping insects waft through a light breeze and the stars hang brightly in the night sky.
The group looks over to you and giggles - they’ve all had human sized portions of mead and their halfling fortitudes are substantially affected by the spirits. They begin barking and growling and scratching the ground... One especially inebriated gentlemen bends over and sniffs a passed out ladies arse. Another turns and slaps him in the face for his behaviour. “I say it was a pack of dire wolves”
“That settles it then - it was a barking ooze”
The night begins to grow quite late as a few more arrive at the small trailside camp. A bard and his troupe join, building a blazing campfire and provide stories and gentle lute music to accompany the fine evening. A small group of halflings, who just recently staid at the Travelers Stop Inn also arrive but mostly keep to themselves. (Everyone roll a perception check.) (You can use the Paizo forums system to roll.
ALSO! -Feel free to post as little or as much of your character as an "ALIAS" to your account. Remember the text in your class/levels entry will show in the gameplay forum so it's handy to track the common stuff in that entry... Here is an extreme example of how far you can go to set an Alias as your character:
Very well - LET THE CAMPAIGN BEGIN! The campaign main page is: https://paizo.com/campaigns/v5748p75ivjto Your gameplay starts here, now: https://paizo.com/campaigns/v5748p75ivjto/gameplay&page=last You will also note the handy tabs atop this very discussion where you can jump between discussion, gameplay, and adding your character under the campaign tab!
All of you are adventurer's - young in your careers... still learning the ropes... finding your footing... Some of you already know each other well... others are just... about to meet. Fresh from your latest caper and all of you finding your way via various routes through the Arthfell Forest making your way to the Travelers' Stop Inn where you all have heard an adventurer or mercenary can find a mission to fill their pockets with coin. You all manage to find your way onto the main road and all scramble along your separate ways looking for a safe spot to make camp for the evening. The five of you come upon a common camping area that travelers have made along the intersection of a babbling creek. As you make camp, introduce yourselves to one-another...

Welcome to our discussion. All out of character (ooc) discussions, questions, etc will go here. All gameplay will go in our game thread. All game maps and handouts will be handled via links to a page at Roll20.net. You'll be expected to check in on the forum(s) once daily. If you won't be able to check in for a few days (hey, life happens!) be sure to do a quick check in to let us know you'll be away and for how long and if someone can make decisions for your character in your absence. Please take a moment to introduce yourself to the group. List your name and your experience playing pathfinder and other role playing games. Below is a list of modules I have available and what starting character level you would need to create. Please let us discuss which would be the best for each of us and come to a decision on what we would like to play. The Harrowing - A tale of high fantasy on a demiplane - Lvl 9
My picks are The Harrowing, Plunder and Peril and Ire of the Storm but I'll happily GM any of them.
Customer service was kind enough to send me a new Harsk so my friend is going to attempt a total facial makeover for Harsk. I'll post the results when he is done. IMHO Harsk should have never have shipped in this state. It's certainly steering me away from buying any wizkids product sight unseen. That said you can't even trust the product images for Harsk right now on the Paizo sight. I do hope they update with more honest previews of the mini. The others look fantastic.

I buy preprinted minis because I work 50-60 hours a week. I simply don't have the time to add that aspect of the hobby to my life. However I may pass my mini to one of my friends who can touch him up. These sets of I comics were created with the intent of being higher quality than the standard wizkids minis. With the exception of Harsk they really are quite nice. The Inquisitor has a very nice face for a preprinted mini despite his face being obscured by both a bow and arrow and the brim of a hat.
Everyone seems to be fairly pleased with their minis so I'm assuming there is an unfortunate bad run of Harsk. Mine looks more like a bearded hedgehog than a dwarf. I contacted customer service but they have already warned me that the replacement still looks "alien". :-/ (nonplussed) Harsk is my fave so if anyone has multiples of a decent Harsk I'd be willing to buy or trade. I'm really surprised these bad Harsks have shipped. The quality is embarrasing. http://tinypic.com/r/dham3o/8
I see a lot of mechanical analysis here of the class - and that has it's place. But what I often fail to see is a good look at what (IMHO) what it should boil down to. 1 - Do the applied mechanics serve to advance the intended flavor of the role.
From what I've seen it's a yes on both counts which makes the class just fine. The class is great fun and does exactly the things you would expect a swashbuckler to do. To answer your question… I find the class to be well balanced and do not believe it requires any further modification.

And if Cuthulu rose from R'yleh to get his tenticals wrapped around the shipment he would just explode in happiness.
To add on to this ... How do primary and secondary attacks fit in?
Or does primary and secondary have nothing to do with multiple attacks? Thanks! |
