Celestra uses touch of good on herself and boldly steps forward and calls out to the stone giants and tries to talk reason with them.

"Stop, mighty giants of the stone! Why are you attacking Sandpoint?!! You have no need to attack the town. I urge you to stop or we will likely use force which would be most unfortunate! What is prompting such a reasonable race to attack?! You should enjoy your freedom, but not at the expense of others. Speak up and tell me what you need to be able to live in peace! Celestra casts wall of stone right by the section of the wall that appears to be breaking. She designs it as a small v shaped courtyard so that when they break through her wall of stone, they will hopefully be funneled to come though only one at a time.

"Let's move closer, we will meet them when they break through. Does anyone have caltrops to spread out and hurt their feet?"

Celestra rushes forward with the others to await them at the end of the v shaped wall of stone.

On the first night of rest from that battle, Celestra would most certainly have prepared Remove Blindness. She would then cast it first thing in the morning. She is here to serve, and if she is not being of service, she is simply unaware of a situation. This always makes me wonder if I should always leave one slot of each spell level empty so that she could prepare a spell if needed. The problem is that I may go without ever using that slot during the day.

Celesta approaches the ghost binging the wrapped corpse with her. "I am most sorry for you loss, my dear. It breaks my heart to tell you, but your love was probably tortured and broken before being tuned into a wight. His original spirit is no longer in control of his remains and I'm not sure that he can be reincarnated. I give him my blessing and the blessing of Cayden Cailean as I leave him with you. I am sorry that I could not have done more, but I leave him in your loving care in the hopes that you find solace. May you feel peace once again and become whole once again."

Celestra steps toward the ghost and humbly lays down the corpse. She then steps back politely after leaving him at her side.

Turning to Ailetha she quietly whispers, "I speak Abyssal and Draconic, but I cannot make out this language at all. Can you understand what they saying?"

A sudden dread overcomes Celestra as she hears about the approaching army of giants. Letting go of fearful thoughts, she puts her hands on her hips she steps up to the giant and addresses him firmly.

"What do you mean too late to save the town? When do you expect them to arrive at Sandpoint?"

Round 4

Celestra stays close to Ailetha as they move up, being sure to stay invisible. The priestess of Cayden Cailean readies a channel energy to selectively channel healing energy when she is able to get in range. The channel selectively avoids the two giants.

Standing in the midst of the battle, she sends healing energy bursting from her being spreading out and engulfing her companions with that wonderful waft of fine ale!

Channel Energy: 5d6 ⇒ (6, 3, 4, 4, 1) = 18

Celestra has the movement to get in range, but I am not sure if she can do that while staying with Ailetha to remain invisible. However, she will try if at all possible. I have not moved her on the map. I will trust she will be moved when Ailetha moves up.

Ailetha, thanks for running Celesta. You did an excellent job! That is what I would have done. Thanks to everyone for you patience. I just came back from an amazing week at GenCon and I'm now getting back on my feet. My voice is almost back to normal after having run seven slots in the Sagamore Balloom.

The Morning of the Fourth Day

"I think we are close now, my friends. Please be warned that to put this poor soul out of its misery we will need to take it down very quickly. From what I know of ghosts they are incorporeal, meaning that most of our weapons will pass right through them. Only the most magical blades will have any effect. We will need to rely greatly on Karlan to strike it with his pure goodness backing with blade. Furthermore, we will need to look within our hearts at the most pleasant memories that we can think of, less we succumb to the terrible drain of life this ghost will inflict upon us."

She returns to the table with several tankards of ale held in each hand like she was a gifted serving wench. "I just want to tell you that I'm so glad to be a part of this company. I'm so proud of each and every one of you. I could not ask to be among such genuinely good people. You all give me hope when living in such desperate times."

Celestra raises her glass and gives Kabal a wink.
