I'll be buying this solely to show that there's a market for it, even though I don't see myself running this particular AP (although I've been wrong before).

I've also converted and ran Rise of the Runelords and I'm converting and running Curse of the Crimson Throne right now in 5e! It can be done.

You don't happen to have those available online, do you? Like as a Google Doc?
I am also very interested if there is a google doc or sometjimg for this and would love to see!

One more voice for the chorus...

Now that the OGL remains untouched is movement continuing on this product?
This product was on hold before the OGL challenges due to issues that have yet to be fully resolved. Regretfully, but to set honest expectations, this product won't come to market until 2024, if at all, for reasons that will become clear at a future date.

Should we cancel our preorders then?

When should we expect official word on the matter? It just feels like we have been left in the dark about the delays and ultimate fate of the product for a long time already (months). Not to be rude or anything, but some clarity would be appreciated by everyone, I'm sure.

Is this alive again?

I'm assuming so... I mean... sure, Paizo will not die if this project is shelved considering the numbers they just pulled over the last month, clearing 8 months worth of books, but it would hurt them in the eyes of a potential new playerbase, and leave a lot of fans quite bitter if they don't release it. If it contains no references to D&D's copyrighted material, it can be released using Creative Commons without even touching the OGL (even if it remains unchanged).

Pretty sure there is something being worked out in the background to make this happen.

If Paizo had to drop this project and ended-up losing the money invested in this (or had to heavily invest into further re-editing to make it system-agnostic or for Project Black Flag), it would hurt the shreds of the reputation and respect the Tower-Dwellers of the Shore still command.

I mean... as far as I know, this was announced, developed and put into pre-orders (and possibly some printing has already been ordered) well before any talk of changes to the OGL. This thing was initially due to release back in November.

I also remember there being mention of a grace period mentioned by the aforementioned Tower-Dwellers. I do expect this to be released... and then be the first and final Pathfinder product for Dung & Drag.

Given that everything looks that this book would have to be published under OGL 1.1 and thus giving Wizards all the rights to all the stuff within... I can't really see this ever coming out.

"Content already released under 1.0a will also remain unaffected."

Considering this clarifications that the tower-dwellers of the shoreline gave on their platform, anything that is published under the old OGL (that is prior to the release of 2.0) will be safe.

If I understand it correctly, all that's really needed is to release this before 2.0 rolls over.

Enter the megadungeon! The Pathfinder Abomination Vaults is coming to 5E and we need your help to know how many to print! Preorder today!

I have preordered...

Can we have some assurances that the release will actually happen?

Is the release itself, if not the date, a guarantee tho? Is something being worked out?

Very much looking forward to this. It'll bridge my classic and sci-fi fantasies. I would pre-order, but I prefer by far the idea of a subscription. Going to wait.
