Production values - high - no major typos, clear organization
Art - Good value - two portraits useful for Elven NPCs
This product instantly prepares a GM to have their PCs enter an elven village - complete with shops, NPCs and adventure hooks. The one thing it lacks is a map, but that can quickly be remedied by a trip to the internet. The NPCs, shops and adventure hooks are evocative and interesting, and the entire product has a strong 'elven' feel that is very cool. I recommend this product. The only thing keeping it from being instantly ready for use is the lack of a map, so that is why it has 4 out of 5 stars.
This book is in my shoulder bag right now. When I write pitches, I look it it's advice. I'm currently writing an adventure, and I find the insight in the kobold guide to game design vital. The years of industry experience in this book makes the difference.
