Amiri brings her blade down in a viscious overhand slash, severing the harpy's head from his body, "NO ONE LIKES TO BE MIND CONTROLLED!!!"

Panting with exhaustion she eyes the guards and then jumps at them to make them flinch, "I hope your superiors give the same leeway we did, now where is this beast's lair? We've got property to recover."

Letting her frustration take hold, Amiri let's the anger overwhelm her like a wave crashing down. Eyeing the Harpy, she rushes forward with her sword held behind. Once in range, she plants a foot and brings the blade swiping upwards, trying to hack the flying beastie in two. "DIIIIIIIEEEEEE!!!"

Slamming back her vial, Amiri wrinkles her nose at the flavor, "tastes like dirt, better work though!" Slinging herself down the ladder, she moves a bit slower than earlier but still manages to make it down to the bottom.

Interact to drink Potion of Barkskin, Move 5 to ladder and climb 25 feet down which uses a double stride. She has a special ability to be able to climb one handed so ends up at the bottom of the tower, sword ready for a fight.

Has Resistance 1 to bludgeoning and piercing damage and weakness 2 to fire for 1 minute. AC/saves updated in header.

And the GM said you were free from the fascinate. "However, with the sonic burst is loud enough to drown out the magical effects of the Harpy on Fumbus!"

Waves of fatigue wash over the barbarian and she looks down at the unconscious hacked up guard in front of her, I hope he isn't dead, I have enough blood on my hands.

Pulling her most expensive healing potion from her pack, she slams it down, focusing intently on the liquid as it trickles down her throat and begins the healing process. She pulls another elixir as an afterthought.

Since the bastard sword is one handed I'm guessing she can hold it with one hand and use an off hand to do stuff. Interact to draw the Moderate Healing Potion (3d8+8), Interact to drink it (using a focus point to double the healing), Free to drop the vial, Interact to draw her Barkskin Potion.

Amiri yells in anger as her shove fails and the enemy is getting it's licks in on her allies, "ENOUGH!"

Ripping her massive sword from the sheath, she brings it down towards the threat in front of her, no longer concerned about lethal damage against a mind-controlled subject.

Amiri scrambles up the last short bit, quicker than most would have expected. Ignoring the attack readied against her she barrels past the enemy into the tower. Planting her foot against the back wall, she uses it as a springboard to spin around and attempt to shove the hapless guard right on out of the tower.

Climb 20 + Move 10, Athletics to "Shove" guard, 3rd action dependent upon results of shove.

That probably won't succeed, so she would reset and try again. I'm sorta guessing since that action has the attack trait, a 2nd attempt would be at a -5 so I'll subtract that.

I'm sorta going to assume we are told that by Kyra. And since I'm free to post now I'll go ahead so as to not hold us up.

Amiri slams her fist into her palm, "looks like we'll have to do this the hard way."

Judging the ground to cover and the gauging her best way to approach, Amiri yells a shout of battle "SURRENDER OR PAY THE PENALTY FOR ATTACKING PATHFINDERS!!!"

Blood pumping in her ears, she dashes forward, trying to quickly climb up the ladder and catch the guard in between reloads.

Rage, Stride, Stride w/ Climb?

When raging, she has a climb speed of 30 ft. Thus, she moves 30 ft in one stride and another 20 ft in her second stride to get to the ladder, is she able to use the last 10 ft of her move to start climbing up the ladder?

So uh... I’m actually wishing for a return of the surprise round from V1 as all this seems unnecessarily complicated. I will advise as such in the review afterwards of course. For now IMO, handle it however you want and we will see how it works out.

Amiri pokes through the hacked up bodies of the ghouls after the last one falls, "are they usually this coordinated with hit and run tactics and stuff?"

She uses her usual cleaning cloth to wipe off the ichor from her blade but the cloth is getting to be a bit stanky. The Kellid wrinkles her nose a bit, "ugh this one may just need to be pitched."

Once the area is checked, she continues towards their goal, keeping an eye out for further ambushes or dangers.

It's reasonable to consider that the males simply have no power and are kept hidden as breeding stock. This could be the rare exception or merely that v2 decided to offer a different view of the Harpy.

When Merisiel mentions her shortbow, Amirir pats an empty spot on her belt and her eyes go wide looking around the clearing. Seeing the handle sticking out of the grass nearby, she goes and collects her thrown hatchet then heads off in the hopefully right direction towards the harpy lair.

Amiri's rage continues, though she stays her hand from finishing off the surrendering pathetic Minotaur in front of her. Slamming her sword into the ground, she then uses it to lean against as the adrenaline leaves her body and the fatigue sets in.

"Damn right we are strong, don't forget it." She thinks for a second and then stands up straight, "I'll take your healing, ain't no matter to me."

As the blessing of the dawnflower courses through her body, Amiri gets a really devious idea. She whips her hatchet at the nearest Minotaur and then grasps a bead of her necklace. Ripping it off, she tosses it right in front of the bull-people. A BLAST of fire comes from the small bead, enveloping and making the area smell like a tasty steak.

While it appears the elf has the tracking handled, Amiri is always biting at the bit to compete with anyone and tracking is one of her stronger abilities.

I'll throw my 2 cents in on the current issue with Sarenrae's Rules. As far as it would go for me, failing to strike down evil does not in itself mean that all evil must die. It just means evil needs to be stopped, which could easily mean capture instead of kill. So there is a way everyone can probably be sorta happy.

Amiri is about a half-step from moving in to hack the taur's head off when the yell goes out to stop. Looking back at the sorcerer she just shrugs, "kay, he's your problem now. I'm going to look for tracks."

She saunters past the beast, staring intensely at him until she is well past and to the edge of the forest. She listens for the expected screams for help from her teammates, but otherwise looks for the trail with Merisiel and Fumbus.

Amiri eyes the Minotaur as he backs and sighs, when Kyra yells she jumps to action. Moving quickly to the beast, her hatchet flies towards its neck, "we could have done this as equals, yet you chose the COWARDS WAY!"

Amiri moves up next to the last Minotaur, sword raised to strike its head from its body. But somewhere deep in her blood fueled rage her hand is stayed. Maybe the obvious surrender, the fear in its eyes, or just not perceiving the Minotaur as a worthy foe anymore, her sword drops to her side and she turns back towards the campsite. Fatigue washing over her body, she drags herself back across the bridge while keeping pressure on her gored wound, "watch the horns, they hurt."

Allowing the healer to perform her actions, Amiri nods her thanks and then cleans the blood and gore off her sword before re-sheathing it.

Slipping back through the doorway, "I'll keep back door covered."

Started looking through her gear and read up on the whole focus point/resonance changes. As a heads up, the first time Amiri is targeted with a ranged strike (that she is aware of) she will activate her bracers of missile deflection to get +2 AC vs. that strike. Other than that, well she has a necklace of fireballs so let's just hope the enemies cluster together!

How do you handle Secret skills? It looks like all of those offered are supposed to be secret (Perception too if the seek action is being used), so thus rolled by the GM or something like that. My last game the GM had us give the modifiers of the checks we wished to use and then they rolled it and disseminated what we discovered.

Or did they get rid of all that in the last errata?

An intense muscle bound woman clad in skins and pieced together armor enters and stands in the corner, massive sword sheathed to her back almost touching the floor. "Find Eeneesa, kill Snakes, recover clasp. Simple enough, probably easy to track."

She rolls her shoulders and cracks her neck, "what's the ship name? I'll head out and secure our spots, meet you all there."
