After several long weeks of gathering salvage from the country side of Numeria, you have finally returned home to the rural town of Torch. Known for the always burning blue flame that stands upon a small hill at the centre of town. The flame burns so hot and yet so cool that allows for one of the only places in the world for skymetal to be melted and worked. This has caused Torch to be a small centre of trade for various blacksmiths and engineers looking to be free from the Technic League.

You begin to head to Khonnir's to sell your salvage. Khonnir Bane, one of the most learned engineers in town, as well as a councilmen for the town's politics, is your benefactor and to some of you, more of an adopted father. You've spent many a night at Khonnir's Forge, the aptly named workshop and tavern, either learning from Khonnir, or drinking to your hearts content.

As you enter town, you immediately feel an oppressive sadness in the air around you. Something feels heavy upon the conscious of those around you. It doesn't take you long to realise that the giant blue flame that gives Torch it's name, is currently silent. What could have caused the flame, which has burned for a thousand years, to suddenly go out?

So before we start the campaign, we need to sort out a bit of planning before then. The start of the campaign has you all in Torch, a rural town separate from the technic league. The campaign assumes that you are all an adventuring group that is already familiar with each other. So we just need to plan out how you all know each other.

Secondly if you still need languages, barbarian languages are popular, but the technology language, androffan can only be taken if you have the trait, or if you learn it later.

So start planning!

Good Afternoon Pathfinders

I am currently looking for interested players to adventure with me through the lands of Numeria. If you are familiar with Iron Gods, please apply with a relevant character and bio. For those not familiar, it is a campaign with high technology in a fantasy setting, which can be hard to chew for some players.

As this is play by post, dungeons will be streamlined and shrunk for easier playability.

Good Luck Everyone

Sovereign Court

First want to start off by saying Merry Christmas to everyone. Hope your holidays are filled with Pathfinder goodness!

And now on to the topic at hand. My gaming group is about to start a new campaign with me as the GM. I'm thinking of a little vacation from Golarion, but seem to be stuck on deciding what campaign setting to take an in-depth look at.

Interested in the following:

Midgard - Always a fan of Mythology
NeoExodus - Anime style cyber-fantasy! Thumbs up!
Razor Coast - Everything is always better with pirates!

If you have experience with any of these settings, please let me know your thoughts so I can make an informed decision.

Thanks!

Sovereign Court

Not sure if other GM's are experiencing a similar problem, but my players love to live in the "Neutral Zone" (or lower). In a table of 6 players, I usually have five Chaotic Neutrals and either an evil or LN character rounding out the table. I've tried encouraging them to play good characters, which usually results in boo's from the players. So I have decided to not beat them, but to join them!

Paizo Adventure Path's are masterful works of art, but a good number of them assume a "good party". So currently I am looking to tweak an AP to be more suited to an evil party. For this I am looking for something Urban themed, so Kingmaker and Skull and Shackles are out.

Also don't want to start Way of the Wicked for the third time. It's a fantastic AP from Fire Mountain Games and if you haven't heard of it, look it up now and purchase it.

So my question is, how easy would it be to tweak say Council of Thieves or Curse of the Crimson Throne for an evil party?

So this space will be used for two reasons, one for anyone who wants to attempt their rolls online, or as a discussion thread for when we do side missions for various characters.

So first off, how to roll the dice. It's simple, you just type in {dice}4d6{/dice} but instead of { } brackets, you use square brackets. You get to attempt it three times and you pick the best one.

Here, Lady Natalia, your benefactor will demonstrate.

Armasse has finally come! Well.. not quite yet! The festival officially begins at noon and you all find yourself in the Clydwell Plaza, eagerly awaiting the opening ceremonies. Crusaders, clerics and mercenaries from all over the campaign are represent in bright colors displaying their orders. Among them you can easily spot the Everbright Crusaders, staying well away from the alcohol and gambling stands, as well as the Order of the Fire Lance, the Order of the Sunrise Sword and finally the Eagle Watch. As you watch everyone around you, you start to notice various crusaders giving the Eagle Watch a wide berth, but not out of respect.

You can also see a single banner proclaiming the Riftwardens, but no one stands vigil by the standard. Rumors have been circulating for years that a small group existed in Kenabras, and whispers have started like wild fire at the appearance of the banner!

The stage is set, you have one hour until the start of the festival, what is everyone doing?

Going to start an impromtu RP session to see your RP style

You find yourself on this fine evening in the commonroom of Defender's Heart, the largest inn in all of Kenabres. The place is packed and seats are becoming a rare commodity. But for the first time in months, morale among the crusaders is high, for tomorrow is Armasse!

Traditionally an opportunity for scholars and priests to come together to study the lessons of history from wars past, since Aroden’s death, this holy day has become more about training commoners in weaponry, choosing squires, and ordaining new priests. Over time, Armasse has grown to encompass jousting competitions, mock duels, battle reenactments, and other festival events. In Kenabres, the festival (which takes place on 16 Arodus) is eagerly anticipated, for it provides distractions from the horrors of being on the front line of the war. Smiles on faces normally marred by downcast eyes and furrowed brows do wonders for city morale in the weeks leading up to the event.

And this is where you find yourself, a crowded inn on the eve of the most anticipated event all year!

I think it is time to step back into the pbp GM'ing ring, and what better way to do that then with a campaign I have been preparing for over the course of several weeks.

That campaign my dear friends is Wrath of the Righteous.

Recruitment starts now and will finish by Saturday, September 7th, 2013 at 11:59pm EST. Choices will be posted the following day on Sunday.

Applications need the following:

Crunch

Abilities: 15 Point Buy

HP: Max at level 1, Average every level after

Class: Any Paizo or Third Party. (need link for third party so that it can be reviewed before approval)

Race: Any, keeping in mind that anything unusual may cause problems in game

Alignment: This campaign has high benefits for “good” aligned characters, so anything not good will require a good reason.

Traits: 2, one of which must be from the Player’s guide. Each trait ties in with a Mythic Path.

Mythic Path: Will not come into effect until book 2. However as it would benefit the party that each character was a different Mythic Path, you may want to choose a Path in your planning before you choosing a class and working backwards.

Backstory

Doesn't have to be much, a paragraph explaining who you are and why your in Mendev during the end of the 4th crusade. Also if your a character outside the norm, then I need reasons for it.

Determining Factors
I will be taking a party of six, one for each mythic path. (So make sure to post which path you want to take with your character) I will also be making sure there is a proper party balance. Your backstory will also help give me justification on your character.

And finally, I will be starting a RP event for all applicants on Wednesday or Thursday, once we have a few characters done. This will help me see your RP style.

Time to make some characters, and CRY HAVOC!!!

Sovereign Court

My players love the crit and fumble decks, but after reading the first book of WotR and Mythic Adventures, it seems that when they hit mythic, the normal crit deck just won't be pulling as much damage as in a normal campaign.

Normal rules of the crit deck would just have me give them an extra card for any modifiers above x2 and they can choose the one they want. Has anyone thought of any different ideas, like adding cards together for crit modifiers after x3?

The fumble deck doesn't need any tweaking imo

Just a discussion up for now, I can get the gameplay up once your character is designed and you have a decent backstory with your voice and attitude in mind. You will need to create a seperate alias for your character once its designed and have all your information copied inside, and if you need help with that, let me know.

I also need to know if Alex will be playing with us so I won't start gameplay until you are both ready to go. No rush, play by post is meant to be more relaxed.

Creation Rules:
20 Point buy
Max HP at level 1, average afterwards
Keep it normalish for race and classes
2 traits, make sure you got one of them from the players guide
150 gold for equipment

Let me know if there's anything else you need

You found yourself in various parts of Magnimar, still carrying out your daily business when you come face to face with a messenger. Although he doesn't appear to be much of a messenger with his dusty leather armor, wide brimmed hat and light blonde stubble upon his face. He hands each of you a scroll before disappearing before your eyes.

The scroll is a rather thick piece of paper and as your unfurl it, the lettering is rather bold and curvy, as if the author tried to sculpt the letters upon the page.

It so reads:

Greetings Fellow Seeker of Adventure!

I am Sheila Heidmarch; Venture Captain of the newest Pathfinder Society lodge, and the only such lodge in Varisia at this time. You have come to my attention as someone who possesses a certain amount of skills and interests within the Society that make you an excellent addtion to a highly specialized team I'm putting together for a matter of grave import, not only to us in the Society, but to Varisia as a whole. Please report an hour before noon to Heidmarch Manor; you will be compensated for your visit, but that reward will pale in light of the riches that await you should we come to an agreement on my proposition. I look forward to meeting you soon!

Signed: Sheila Heidmarch

Please post here when choices have been made.

Thought I would start a new pbp Adventure Path as some of my current campaigns have sadly ended. What better Adventure Path then the one that allows you to play a member in the Pathfinder Society!

Recruitment will be open until Sunday, June 9th at 11:59pm EST

Story will be the main focus of this campaign and combat will be streamlined for the purpose of pbp. Back stories are the deciding factor in this recruitment, so make sure to make them good. Characters with flavorful ties to Varisia and to the Society will get extra attention.

Crunch - Follow Society Rules for Character Creation
HP: Full at level 1, average every level after
Stats: 20 point buy
Traits: 2, one of which must be from the Shatter Star Player's guide
Equipment: 150 gold
Classes: All Society Legal
Races: All Society Legal including ones you would need a boon for (Goblin, kitsune, etc...)

For Society legal play, check out Additional Resources
For Player's Guide, check out Link

Please don't hesitate to ask any questions.

Time for you to meet my online persona, GM Tierce!

Well anyways, please use this space to stat up characters and to discuss what you want to play. The name of the campaign we are going to play is called Razor Coast and we may visit it from time to time depending on attendance at WC

So just a refresh, stats are focus and foible, so choose your main stat, make it an 18, choose your foible, it becomes an 8. Then roll a 1d10 + 7 for each stat afterwards, in a line! What do I mean when I say a line? Lets say you set your focus as Strength and your fobile as Dex, so you roll your first 1d10+7 which becomes your CON. Then you roll your second, and that's your Intelligence. Why in line? because it makes things more interesting. However you can re-roll your stat line three times until you get one you like.

So how do you roll on the paizo forums? in your post, include a dice roll. Dice rolls looks like this

1d10 + 7 ⇒ (4) + 7 = 11

How'd I do that? Click underneath this chat box under "How to Format Your Test" click the show button and it will show you how to make a dice roll

Also for a refresh, here are the rules

Stats: Focus and Foible
HP: Max at level 1, Average + 1 ever level after
2 Traits
Class: Any, even 3rd party
Race: Any, but anything above Core will face some RP issues
Equipment: 12000 gold

The fresh sea air feels good upon your senses as the ship you are on, Freedom's Blessing, continues it journey to the north west. You think back over the last few days, of your rank in the militia being officially stripped, and told to set sail to a land unknown.

A mysterious island had been spotted 10 leagues of the North West coast of Cross, and both the Realania and Tyrene governments were trying to stake claim. You however have been given the task of surveying the island as a "private" citizen of Realania, with nothing but your store bought weapons and a month's worth of food and supplies.

You begin to see the island appear upon the horizon. It will still be a day's sail before you arrive, but already you can see the dark clouds hanging overhead of the island. Clods of ash created by the single mountain upon the island, an active volcano.

Post up here to check in. This will be a small campaign so there will only be a few of you. I want to keep the campaign interesting and moving, which is why it's a small group.

Epiphany details are in the campaign information.

Sovereign Court

So I have a problem. I love starting new Adventure Paths and having the players make characters, helping them with their characters and getting everything set up. A couple of sessions down the road however, I'm fighting the urge to start a new campaign as my excitement is not what it was at character creation. I know it's not the product as Paizo Adventure Paths are amazing, so I know the problem is with me.

What do you do (if anything) to keep things interesting? And how can I keep my excitement level up for the players and not force them to start a new AP every month and stop wanting me to GM?

The first thing you begin to feel is the steady rocking of the floor beneath you. A pounding headache threatens to split your skull in half and the sickly sweet taste of wine in your mouth doesn’t seem to help. You look around and begin to hear a rhythmic creaking that’s in time with the rocking of the floor, and you can notice several other unconscious bodies next to you.

You begin to remember bits and pieces from last night. A bar in Port Peril, the ringing of laughter of a wild night, the scents of rich stewed meats and perfume lingering in your nostrils. Before you can start to piece it together, several pairs of heavy footsteps enter the dark room, a harsh light painfully spears across you all.

A man with a long leather coat, trimmed beard, bandanna and a long whip smiles upon you all. He doesn’t smile often as it comes across as looking like he is in pain.

”Still abed with the sun over the yardarm? On your feet ye filthy swabs! Get up on deck and report for duty before Cap’n Harrigan flays your flesh into sausage skins and has Fishguts fry ye up for breakfast!”

Posting up the discussion thread for now to allow both of us to get some ideas down on paper. I will also need to go through a few things with you as I think of them.

You will need to keep track of loot and you will be the one dividing it up amongst your NPC's (when you get your own crew)

It is approaching dusk on the Summer Solstice and all of Sandpoint is ablaze with excitement. Tonight begins the annual Ritual of Stardust, to honor the goddess Desna. All over Sandpoint, large bonfires are beginning to be lit and tables are pulled out for the enormous feasts that will begin at the start of twilight.

Acolytes have been walking threw town all day, handing out small bags of "stardust", which is actually ground up rose quartz, but will still work for the ritual. At midnight, the entire town will begin to sing songs, continue feasting and watch the fires burn. Once only embers remain, each devout of Desna will thrown their stardust and whisper proclamations of love, friendship, and of good times to come.

The new Pathfinder outpost in town has also shown its support for the Ritual and has helped decorate the town square with all the colors and regal of Desna including several barrels of Spring Ale. The Rusty Dragon has been open all day and night, serving up its famous spicy salmon. And Koya Mvashti, the town's oldest cleric of Desna, has been surrounded by townsfolk all day, attempting to get a blessing from Desna.

At this point, you all find yourself outside of the Rusty Dragon, watching as the first bonfires become lit.

Hey Guys, posting this up so you have a place to discuss this. Going to start up Jade Regent as my homebrew was a bust. If you can, try to make characters together, using teamwork feats and the like. Also, as citizens of Sandpoint, try to interwork your back stories.

Average HP, max at level 1
150 gold
2 traits, one from the players guy, make sure to list who your NPC is

Have at it! Gameplay will be up on Friday, or earlier if you guys are all super keener and finish early

You have come to the Lusty Leopard, a tavern to Cayden Cailean on the first floor, and a special temple to Calistria on the second floor. The perfect combination for anyone needing to lose a months’ worth of money in one night.

Tonight however is a special night. Tonight is the Festival of First Brewing! A night in honor of the harvest where devote patrons of Cayden Cailean sample the first sips of this year’s brewing harvest. Thousands have shown up for the chance to get in! Lucky for you, you were invited! You have been selected to rub elbows with the elite of Absalom.

Everyone important in Absalom is here tonight, from key members of the Pathfinder Society to various members of the Grand Council. The social event of the year, and here you are!

Welcome to the Lusty Leopard, where all dreams come true!

So now that you are chosen, you may now write your backstories. Why do it after recruitment? I want you, the players, to write backstories together so that you some how know each other.

The start of the campaign will be at the Lusty Leopard, during the Festival of "First Brewing". So either your regular patrons, or your along just for the festival, its all up to you!

Gameplay should be up in the next day or so

I have an idea for a homebrew campaign but want to first see if there is any interest in the idea.

Essentially it would be a group of unlikely heroes who are thrust into an adventure in Absalom. The core story line would be mystery and suspense, but would also include a bit of comedy. There would also be a bit of intimacy and adult themes (nothing too graphic)

But here's the catch, your character would be the fantasy version of you. You would make who you think you would be in Golarion, and points would go to creative ways to how you define yourself.

As this would need some details about your own life, we could submit characters through pm's if people are comfortable with that

Let me know what you think and if there is enough interest, I can start up a recruitment thread

Please continue the events that happened in the Rusty Dragon the night before the Shallowtail festival. Storyline events will pick up from there

Welcome to my reboot of Rise of the Runelords, please post here once the choices have been posted.

A few things that I want go through. This campaign will be mostly story driven. There will still be combat, but most of the crawls and adventures will be reduced to account for pbp.

Also combat will be streamlined for pbp, all initiatives will be added together and players can act together at any point before the enemies take over. There will be no maps so I will try to describe everything as best as I can.

You pass by a large rusted statue of what you assume is a dragon, entering the inn of the statue's namesake. The warmth of the common room spreads across your face and the delicious smell of spiced curry salmon hangs in the air.

Looking around the room, you spot several familiar faces, Ameiko serving drinks behind the counter, her smile inviting to all the local young men. Cyrdak has gathered together a large crowd in the corner, telling everyone within earshot the upcoming plays of his theater. Shalelu, her mysterious elven features a huge contrast to those around her, appears to be keeping her eye on the door and on anyone within the inn. Kelvan Dral, an old adventuring friend of Ameiko's already appears to be well into his cups and has passed out on the tavern counter.

The inn is quite packed in preparation for the Shallowtail festival and new comers from all over Varisia have come for the opening of the new cathedral in Sandpoint. The very same reason you find yourself here in this very inn.

After a long time away from these forums, I am now finally glad to make a return. Work and life constraints prevented me from continuing one of the things I love, pbp rp'ing.

So as a result of my return, I will be restarting one of my favorite campaigns, Rise of the Runelords! If you are a player from my previous campaign, please re-submit your character and you will be given preference.

This will be a heavy RP campaign and as a result, the minimum posting requirement is lower then most campaigns. Posting will be at a minimum of three times a week and must have at least a paragraph. This also means that extensive character backgrounds are a must.

Thanks to the new People of the North book, I am greatly anticipating this AP as well as the GM who's going to be running it for us.

Now is anyone aware of the level of Cold resistant and Cold Immune mobs that will be present in the Adventure? I have two really great character ideas(Winter Witch or Winter Oracle), but both will be quite weak against cold resistant. I realise the Winter Witch Prestige class negates a bit of this, but not until later levels.

Any help would be appreciated

I have received the go ahead from Hobby Ninja to start hosting PFS games at their store. I am currently recruiting for a GM and for a small player base to get them started. If anyone lives in the East Durham area or knows anyone who lives there and is interested in playing, please let me know either through here or through email

This seems to be a re-occurring theme on this board, but I will go ahead and post my own thread for it.

I am looking to run an adventure path, but I am seriously stuck on which one to run as they all seem good to me. I want an AP that I can take several months to prepare for, memorize every detail and really have the adventure ready for showtime.

Another problem is that my group is very "kick in the door" style "roll-players" that want to be spoon fed content and I want to break them of that and get them thinking and roleplaying, but nothing too heavy.

I would also love for the AP to be more open instead of encounter after encounter.

I've already suggested Kingmaker but got mixed responses from the players. A good portion of them want me to run Way of the Wicked, but I'm saving that for another time.

Any other ideas?

Edit: I should note that we have already played RotRL's, Serpent's Skull, Carrion Crown and Skull and Shackles

In the kingdom of Talingarde, many crimes may send you to Branderscar Prison, but the sentence has but one meaning. You are wicked and irredeemable. Each of you received the same greeting when you arrived. You were held down by rough hands and branded upon the arm with a runic F. The mark signifies ‘forsaken’ and the painful scar is indelible proof that each of you has betrayed the great and eternal love of Mitra and his chosen mortal vassals.

Condemned, you face at best a life of shackles and servitude in the nearby salt mines. Others might await the “gentle” ministrations of the inquisitors so that co-conspirators may be revealed and confessions extracted. Perhaps, some of you will be spared this ordeal. Perhaps instead you have come to Branderscar to face the final judgment. In
three days, the executioner arrives and the axe falls or the pyre will be lit.

Through fire or steel, your crimes will be answered.

You have all been chained together in the same communal cell dressed in nothing but filthy, tattered rags. Manhandled and mistreated, any finery
you once possessed is either ruined or long lost. No special treatment has been given any prisoner – male or female, commoner or noble – all of the forsaken are bound and imprisoned together. Your feet are secured by iron cuffs tethered by one long chain. Your arms are secured to the wall
above by manacles. A guard is posted right outside the cell day and night. Little thought is given to long term accommodations. At Branderscar, justice comes swift and sure.

Escape seems hopeless. You have all been well searched and every attempt to conceal anything on your person has failed. And if you could somehow slip your bonds and fly out of this prison, where would you go? Who from your former life would want anything to do with the forsaken? Despised, alone and shackled – all that you can do now is await your doom.

For each of you, your old life is over. For each of you, hope is a fading memory. For each of you, justice will be fairly meted. And who can blame fair Talingarde after what each of you has done?

Feel free to describe yourselves and start interactions

Discussion is up, post here to check in

I have been absent from these forums for sometime and have missed the subtle interactions between characters that an online campaign can achieve. Online campaigns always focus significantly on the story, something that I am always a fan of. So I have decided to return to you to GM a campaign

I will be running Way of the Wicked, the evil Adventure Path by Fire Mountain Games. The focus will be on story, and players will be picked on good biographies. Talingarde, the island nation that is the setting for this campaign will be set in Golarion. Backgrounds should include who you are, how you got to Talingarde, and the reason for being arrested and thrown into the worst jail in all of Talingarde.

I will take four players, and posting is around 3 times a week. My online time is sparse, so please be patient.

Crunch:

HP: Full at level 1, average on additional levels
Alignment: No chaotic and no good (LE is preferred)
Stats: Focus and Foible – Choose your Focus and put it as an 18, choose your foible, and put it as an 8. For all remaining stats, roll a d10+7, all in a straight line, no swapping stats.
Class: Any, Antipaladin’s can be LE
Race: Any, but wild outlandish races will need an even better bio
Traits: 2 of your choice, a third trait, which will represent your crime, will be given to you after
Gear: You start with none, as you have been arrested and thrown in jail

The Mythic Adventure playtest will be included at some point, but not at start

Recruitment will last until this Sunday, November 25th

Sovereign Court

I will start out by saying that I am a huge fan of Pathfinder subscriptions, it's like Xmas once a month.

My question is simple. Is there a way, or possibly a future idea to allow for subscriptions of just the PDF's? I lack the space requirements for printed books and would love a way to have subscriptions for just the digital pdf's.

If that's possible, I would be certainly expanding my subscriptions

Hello one and all and welcome back to Epiphany!

However there is now one major change, instead of being it's own world, Epiphany has now appeared as a mysterious set of Isles of the West Coast of the Inner Sea Region (Approx where Azlant was). The Isles have just been discovered in areas that were thought to be open ocean.

Also just as mysterious, a cult has sprung up in various cities across Golarion pledging the divine love of a single god, who should be worshiped above all others, known only as The Protector.

And that is just a preview...

So here's what I need from you guys. Here is your space to make characters, and I want you to do it as a group making sure all the roles are covered and making use of teamwork feats if you like.

No rush on characters, not planning to start for about a week or more as I need to set down some ideas on paper.

Crunchy bits:

Any Questions?

Hey Pathfinders,

Within the next few weeks, I am going to be playing in a Carrion Crown Adventure Path and I am looking for the best way to play a Varisian Fortune that would take the Harrower prestige class.

My three options are:

Bard
Sorcerer
Wizard

But here is where it gets interesting. I also want to have proficiency with bladed scarves and to take the Deadly Dealer feat so that I can throw Harrow cards as if they were darts. But to also become a Harrower at a decent level.

Here are my problems:

Bard, perfect for stats and skills and feats that I need, but they can't be a Harrower until level 8

Sorcerer, starved for skills and feats, and stats are hard to balance unless I take the Sage bloodline, but still feat starved, Able to be Harrower at level 7

Wizard, lots of skills, can he a harrower at the earliest of level 6. But the wizard doesn't seem to have the feel of a Fortune Teller, and I prefer spontaneous casting over prepared spells.

Anyone want to help me with my boondoggle of a problem?

Hey Pathfinders, I'm going to be running an adventure path at my local gaming store and I can't decide between Paizo's "Jade Regent" and Fire Mountain Games' "Way of the Wicked". Been wanting to run Jade Regent for awhile, but Way of the Wicked has an awesome concept

Instead of flipping a coin, I'm going to ask you, the awesome people of the forums for thoughts on which one to run

You have waited all year, and the day has finally come! The Swallowtail Festival has started! The town square is decorated with as many streamers and colors that they seem to boggle the mind. Merchant tents from all over Varisia, selling food and wares from as far as Korvosa.

You come to the festival just as it starts. Mayor Deverin delivers his speech from the stage, his friendly attitude and joking demeanor has the crowd laughing within minutes, especially his joke about the local tanner, Larz Rovanky, managing to tear himself way from work long enough to attend.

The attitude of the crowd is brought down slightly as Sheriff Belor Hemlock reminds everyone to be safe during the festival and to not try anything silly or dangerous, his eyes resting on a few of you. He also requests a moment of silence from everyone to remember those who perished in the previous church fire. At the end of his speech, the Sheriff reminds everyone that the lottery for Jury Duty will be taking place by the end of the night. The crowd begins to murmur about the upcoming trial of Blixa.

The mayor takes to the stage once again to announce the third and last speaker, Cyrdak Drokkus. A few of the crowd begin to murmur and the Mayor tells them that their oringal speaker, Lonjiku Kaijitsu, has taken ill and won't be attending the festival.

Cyrdak takes the stage and has the crowd roaring in laughter once again with his jokes and anecdotes. At the end of his speech, he invites everyone to attend the Sandpoint Theater the following evening for the opening night of "The Harpy's Curse". Hey guys, please post here when you have a chance to check in. I will be posting up the gameplay thread by Monday, so in the mean time, collect yourselves and intertwine any of your back stories together. The tavern IC thread will be used as a basis for your first intros.

For something different and a bit fun, if you have a completed alias with a back story, then feel free to start roleplaying. This open RPing forum is to give me an idea of your style. Have some fun, go crazy (not too crazy)

You have come to Sandpoint to attend the Swallowtail Festival and for the Grand Opening of the new Cathedral. However you have arrived a week early, and are looking to blow off some steam and look for some entertainment. No matter if you are a visitor or a long time resident of Sandpoint, everyone loves The Rusty Dragon, which is where you find yourself on this lovely evening. So come in, have a drink, and have some of Ameiko's famous fish stew.

Against my better judgement, the gods of Golarion are demanding tribute, and I have decided that the tribute will be in the form of a pbp campaign. Rise of the Runelords Anniversary Edition!

This will be a heavy RP campaign and as a result, the minimum posting requirement is lower then most campaigns. Posting will be at a minimum of three times a week and must have at least a paragraph. This also means that extensive character backgrounds are a must.
