So before we start the campaign, we need to sort out a bit of planning before then. The start of the campaign has you all in Torch, a rural town separate from the technic league. The campaign assumes that you are all an adventuring group that is already familiar with each other. So we just need to plan out how you all know each other.
Secondly if you still need languages, barbarian languages are popular, but the technology language, androffan can only be taken if you have the trait, or if you learn it later.
So start planning!

Uthan Ironmind |

Yay, I have Androffan. Go trait.
From my point of view, I'd likely know/know of both Jade and Amisi. Jade as a fellow archaeologist (a;though I suspect Pathfinder archaeology would make my teeth itch) and Amisi as a fellow worshiper of Brigh, given she's a relatively minor Goddess.
Nevi is the only one I'm not so sure of?

Nevi Faelmond |

Nevi is a bit of a traveler who is looking to make as many friends as possible, so we could meet under any circumstances really.
Nevi is really laidback and super friendly, since he just spent the first 20 years of his life as a slave engineer on a clockwork ship he's looking to make up for his childhood.
Since you're all Archaeologists it seems, I could have been hired as some "muscle" during an earlier expedition and we stuck together since.
Also, it looks like I'm our tank.... lol.
And what are you talking about Uthan, we're both halfies, that's good enough for me. :P

Nevi Faelmond |

I get 4 languages, and I'm trying to do some research on the Technic League without learning anything about them (lol) to try and see what languages they speak. I figure I'd have Technic League guys bossing me around on the clockwork ship, so I'd have to know their language, but it seems almost all of them are human.
I could always pick up some racial languages we're missing like Dwarven and Halfling.

Uthan Ironmind |

If I'm honest I dunno much about the Technic League, so I suspect they use Common or Androffan.
But yeah, we have three 3/4 BAB characters and one ranged. Fighting might be...exciting. Uthan can serve on the front lines at a pinch, though, since he will eventually be the Million GP Orc if he lives long enough.
But yeah, it works for me if Nevi and Uthan met due to there half-race status.

Nevi Faelmond |

Haha I was thinking about that today; I remember you picked up the mysteries that give you cyborg-type stuff. Your HP was the only thing that kept me from calling you a tank, and I mean no offense by that of course, just trying to figure out how all of us get out alive.
Nevi is a bit of a mid-range attacker. He's using a blunderbuss so I've gotta get my targets in that 15 ft cone. :P

Uthan Ironmind |

Upgrade to a Culverin later. Nothing says 'cool' like carrying a small cannon. We just need a way for you to not get blown over...
With a little work, toughness and some bits to boost Con I should be OK...ish. Or maybe find a way to run HP off Charisma without, y'know, dying.

Nevi Faelmond |

Nevi is actually going to buy a real cannon later. I HATE planning ahead on characters, but the idea is to get some levels in Summoner to get an Eidolon that will help me man siege weapons. Ballistas/etc.
And nothing says cool like a Large Eidolon carrying a cannon on its back. :P

Amisi Sheut |

Reporting in. :)
For languages I currently speak: common, gnome, sylvan and hallit. I plan on picking up androffan, what trait do I need to know it now?
For a bit of Amisi's past, she's recently been working in one of the many tinkering type shops that are spread around the city and frequently heads out with groups to scavenge around for lost bits of tech.

Jade Gemheart |

@ Amisi - You need the Numerian Archeologist trait.
As far as knowing everyone else, it looks like the general consensus is that we went on one or more expeditions together. Which makes sense given how we'er all designed. Other than that, I'm not entirely sure what my role would be, other than the walking encyclopedia of course.

GM Tierce |

To make things a bit easier, would you say most of you could be a salvage team for a rather robust blacksmith and engineer? I can easily make up an NPC as your boss.
As for the team make up, sure there's no clearly defined tank, but I didn't like most of the melee apps and you guys all had a flavor to your characters that I liked. If combat becomes a problem in game, you can always escape and hire an NPC meat shield

Nevi Faelmond |

Rage Oracle looks fun; my PFS Lore Oracle hit level 4 and got a Bugbear animal companion, so at level 5 he took a Barbarian/Mad Dog level with Boon Companion, and now he wants to go Rage Oracle, lol.
Too bad he's going Living Monolith. >:(
But yeah! A rag tag group of scavengers sounds about right.
So I'll pick up the remaining race languages; Dwarven and Halfling, right? Does anyone have Giant? Those are my usual favs. Then probably one of the elemental languages.
Sorry I didn't post sooner today; I've been playing a Pathfinder Society game online and jesus christ.... the PF Mod: Fangwood Keep is atrocious if you do it wrong, lol.

Uthan Ironmind |

I am tempted by Bloodrager, but it would be at least four levels before I could go into Rage Prophet. With regular Barbarian I could qualify for it by second level. Still need to be at least 6th level, but...
Well, I suppose it depends on just how fighty I want to be, and how much of my Spellcasting I wanna keep, given what Rage Oracle costs.

Nevi Faelmond |

Not doing too bad! Just at work right now, I moved departments so I’m less of IT and more of “corporate licensing” now. I deal with less people and stare at a monitor more. Just waiting to go home today because I’m playing a PFS scenario on Roll20, the 2nd out of a 3 parter. Shades of Ice.

Amisi Sheut |

Nothing too new over here. Unless I haven't talked to you since I moved from Cali to Maryland. Just all grumbly about the cold right now. We don't even have any decent snow for the kids to play in. Just a cold soggy mess outside right. :(
Campaigns okay so far, still a bit early to give you review of it. :P

Jade Gemheart |

Same damned job, had the house painted recently, just got my PS3 fixed, and I'm trying to get serious about making videos again.
As for the campaign, I'm having fun, just trying to get a feel for the character. First thing I've come up with is how she talks. A little long-winded if you hadn't noticed.

Jade Gemheart |

GM Tierce |

Nothing wrong with Maryland, East Coast!!! I'm just north of you in the great land beyond The Wall! Wait does that make me an Other?
PS3 eh? No ps4? I'm a nintendo guy myself, love my 3ds and wii u, but right now I just got something I am extremely proud of because I never had one as a kid, a Super Nintendo!
I'll make a pinterest account shortly, was kind of avoiding it, but I see the appeal

Uthan Ironmind |

I'm working now, which I wasn't last time we played. But I work nights at a hotel - I'm actually encouraged to be on a laptop roleplaying. So it's awesome.
When I'm not at work I'm playing with the kids, on a console or both. And yes...there is a PS4. Also a PS1, PS2, PS3, X-box, X-box 360, SNES, N64, Wii, WiiU...I should have a MegaDrive and Atari 2600 somewhere, but I can't find them.

Nevi Faelmond |

Got my SNES in the closet, I just need new cables for it since my last ones were eaten up by parent's dogs. I live alone now though so my cables are safe.
I've always been more of a PC gamer though. Obviously not as a kid but after Playstation2/Gamecube I pretty much stopped and went pure PC.

Uthan Ironmind |

I have steam, and a few games on there, but I like to play with my wife, since she enjoys watching while she works. So that means console games.
Plus my machine is out dated for any current games.

Amisi Sheut |

No, it makes you a Wildling, not an Other.
The only games I play are PC ones on my laptop. Mostly just SW:TOR now. I like to tank.
Also, I was sad to not be in Germany for this: Battlestar Galactica LARP on a Destroyer

Nevi Faelmond |

I also beta'd TOR and was actually the first guy on my server to reach Coruscant, haha. I wish I still had my screenshot of me standing in an empty main city. I was going to be super serious but the raiding was far too simple and I got bored quick and quit soon after release.

Uthan Ironmind |

So just to make sure I got it right, that's 27gp and 7sp for the thieve's tools, shaving kit and cooking kit, with another 9gp and 6sp to be spent buying the rest of Uthan's cooking provisions from the general store?
On the plus side, well fed adventurers! Just don't expect to squeeze through small spaces after one of Uthan's meals...

Jade Gemheart |

Just a heads up, I'm not going to be available this weekend. There's things I need to take care of, and I need some time to refocus. Been having some trouble with that lately. So come Monday Morning, I'll be back. Until then, Adios.

Nevi Faelmond |

Sorry I haven't been as active lately, friends kinda making me mad in another game and frustrating my Pathfinder experience :P I need to get motivated and do what Uthan did, and buy a bunch of fun supplies :(
Oh wait, Nevi has 20 gold, he'll snag a couple randoms.

GM Tierce |

Uthan, costs look good, does anyone else have any questions? Was going to post up for gameplay when I realised that I am waiting for you guys.
And just to let you know, since there's a pretty big dungeon crawl coming up, I'm going to make it more simple and streamlined, less rooms and such so it's easier to handle on pbp

Nevi Faelmond |

Nevi has no spare money, probably forgetting small bags of it through their expeditions. He will have to rely on the kindness of his teammates.
Maybe he will at least buy some food, I'll try to do that when I'm done working out, I mean playing dance dance revolution :(
