I'm sticking to Pathfinder personally. Paizo has done a great job at fostering a 3rd party ecosystem in the last few years that I think has already surpassed its predecessor. Unfortunately I don't think Hasbro has the kind of corporate culture that would allow this to happen again like it did back in the 3.5 days.

I'm just a big fan of hard covers, and I really like the feel of the paper and binding of Kobold's hard cover books. I think an updated print compiling existing material with new material through KS stretch goals would be something to look forward to. Either way Midgard has joined Deep Magic as one of my favorite books to have at my night stand.

Between this and Deep Magic, I've been really impressed by your hard covers. I really hope we can see another one soon. (Maybe a kickstarted expanded guide to the city of Zobeck.)

Truly good news from both statements!
I don't expect to see much in the near future other than a revised core rule book. The rules FAQ is starting to get a little long and there's a few things in the current CRB that don't fit all that well anymore in the direction that game has evolved. (Not to mention missing tables that ended up having to be printed in other books.) If there are any major rule changes they will likely be piloted in other books first.
OMG! I can't believe I missed this blog post! Seriously Lisa, if you find yourself back in Wisconsin for the holidays you should seriously consider showing up as a regular Pathfinder Society player on Saturday morning at Chimera Hobby Shop or on Sunday morning at Gnome Games! The North East Wisconsin PFS group would be too shocked to know how to handle it (and knowing my luck it will be my turn to GM.) :-)
Happy Holidays to our Care Bears in Redmond, WA!! How are the prospects looking so far of getting our subscriptions in the hands of subscribers by Christmas this year? If there's still a good chance, I want to gift my nephew with one of those cool Pathfinder Message Bags. He's only 11, but he's quickly become one of Pathfinders biggest fans. If things continue to look dire, I'll probably buy it for myself at least and just get him his first Pathfinder Bestiary on Amazon with my Prime membership. Either way, keep the hot cocoa flowing for everyone!!

Its rage power comes from Sorcerous Bloodlines, hence why its a hybrid class and has lesser capabilities of casting spells. This class has a huge amount of potential for those of us who want to use the bloodline concept in a melee character. A dragon bloodline rager is just begging to be a Dragon Disciple.
Bloodrager looks like an awesome class for Dragon Disciple and it should counts as being a sorcerer for the prestige class. The only thing I would add to Bloodrager is that classes that allow levels to stack when determining bloodline powers should also stack when determining the number of rounds you can bloodrage. This will make fix the issue of a Bloodrager having too short of a number rounds to bloodrage as a Dragon Disciple.
I personally would like to see a 92-128 page expanded "Complete Elves" book released. This idea of needing to keep "GM" and "Players" information physically separate is bad because it means I need to buy two books as a fan of Pathfinder. This separation is pointless since most players also GM anyways (or should be.) A good player will always keep player and character knowledge separate while playing.
Maybe this book will be worth it, but by the description alone this looks like a cut back version of Seekers of Secrets. I would like to see PFS get the same kind of excellent treatment that the Inner Sea World Guide got by its third incarnation instead of remaining as a bunch of small books with a lot of duplicate information.
Another PFS book? I also agree that these are coming out too often. The thing is there should be enough material by now for a single compiled book that we could consider to be core assumption, but now there are three separate books written about pathfinder society with different sets of information. I think it would be a better idea to just compile all this into the free Guide to Pathfinder Society Organized Play PDF and then just sell a print version of the same book. The print edition would still be less expensive and less of a hassle then trying to print everything out on a printer.

Right now I have a strip of wide masking tape down the middle of each page to seal off the openings. So far its worked ok, but I'd love a better way to store the small/tiny pawns. Stick the larger pawns in front of the small ones. They should help keep the small ones from falling out. |
