![]() Boris takes a swing with his opportnity attack! If he hits the damage reduces the CMB check. His weapon is magical if it matters for DR. Axe, height: 1d20 + 22 + 1 ⇒ (15) + 22 + 1 = 38
If that hits then the grapple will fail ![]()

![]() Boris gives a rattling cough, takes a step downward and strikes at blue. Blue is 20' down but 10' tall. If Boris 5' steps down that should bring it in range of a full attack Axe, height: 1d20 + 22 + 1 ⇒ (19) + 22 + 1 = 42

![]() Boris clanks forward towards the creature, greataxe raised high and begins to chop at it. OK, a few rules questions. From what I can tell control undead is complete control. Given its a 7th level spell and only lasts 1 minute per level that seems appropriate. I dont believe anything breaks that control, there is no mention of it in the spell at all. If you think it would break control then I wont do this. I will take a differrent approach instead. Secondly, having told it to offer us no resistance is it effectively helpless and if so can it be coup de graced? Obviously it would be immune to the fort save but does the auto crit apply? If not Boris will just start full attacking it provided it doesn't break control. Surprise round he moves up, round 1 he starts attacking RAAAAARGHHHHH! If it can be coup'ed:
Greataxe crit: 9d6 + 51 ⇒ (3, 6, 3, 3, 1, 4, 5, 5, 2) + 51 = 83 If it cannot be coup'ed: Greataxe: 1d20 + 22 ⇒ (1) + 22 = 23 Damage: 3d6 + 17 ⇒ (5, 4, 4) + 17 = 30 Greataxe, BoF bonus attack: 1d20 + 22 ⇒ (5) + 22 = 27
Greataxe: 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (12) + 17 = 29
Greataxe: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (15) + 12 = 27
Horns: 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (1) + 17 = 18
