Bogard, of course, examines the trap and confirms the situation. "Very well, he may not be a complete scoundrel..." he admits grudgingly.

Wow, that was quick! Thanks for the game! I think I need to re-read the rules again to better figure out this combat stuff.

"Honor, eh? Cause a thief, liar and fraud definitely deserves some honor."

Bogard is clearly disgusted with the man, but shrugs. "So, before we go anywhere, why don't you tell us everything. What all have you found so far."

Bogard holds his staff out in front of him in a defensive stance. He steps toward the large mummy and swings with both hands.

For future reference, Bogard uses his staff as a walking stick and to poke and prod for traps, so he probably was considered armed - but I don't see it making a difference here.

Attack: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (19) + 7 = 26
Damage: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7

"Excavating this is a pretty big task... best we leave it for another day. I say we head back and check those doors before tracking all of the way back."

When they get there, Bogard will do another safety check and also tries to feel the doors and listen close, just to see if anything can be learned before trying to open them.

"Didn't I say my job was to find and disable such things? Yes, this is the danger of these sorts of finds."

Leaving the others to help the speared goblin, Bogard sets about checking to are to make sure others don't quickly suffer the same fate.

Find still armed traps: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (8) + 9 = 17

"Sounds like everything is in order. Thieves... well, that's a common risk, of course, but you look like a capable crew, so I suspect only the most fool-hardy would try anything with us. Although I admit, sometimes I don't mind giving dem thieves a good thrashing, the dirty scoundrels."

The dwarf who speaks from the back of the room looks like he has just come from the desert, blonde hair and goggles show signs of fresh dirt, and his beige and tan clothing look like perfect camouflage for hiding in the sands.

"Nice to meet you all. I am sure we will get to know each other quite well on this trip. Me... names Bogard, and I tend to run point to keep the rest of you outta trouble. A lot of these old finds are trapped to protect from those very thieves you mentioned. Finding and disabling them are my specialty. Sometimes a little finesse, and sometimes" he says holding up a solid looking staff "a little smashing."

Sorry I am a little late checking in, but wasn't sure what sort of character I wanted to go with. So meet Bogard Sanderstone, scout and trap finder/diffuser.
